• Profile

  Miakoda exudes calm, serenity, even innocence. Her eyes are silvery in colour, noteworthy in that they often reflect colours around her giving them a habit of appearing different from time to time.
  
  Distinguishing characteristics:
  Pupiless silvery eyes. Ability to camoflage herself and almost disappear if she does not wish to be seen. Quick minded but somewhat child-like. Fast reactions. Small and agile. Loves to paint.
  
  Bio:
  Born amongst a closely knit pack, the sudden disappearance of everyone she knew left her devastated. She waited alone in an empty caern for many years, her gifts keeping her alive as she hid away in the dark waiting with only spirits for company... Miakoda is now trying to learn to live amongst others of the mortal plane once more.
  
  Miakoda is a gentle soul who inherited the potential for great rage. Whether or not she has learned to deal with this is yet to be seen.

• History

  Miakoda's early life was a simple and pleasant one. Lupus-born amongst a good sized pack, she was taught and raised by her Theurge mother, taking on the calling herself after showing early signs of aptitude for her auspice. As she reached maturity, and after completing her Rite of Passage, the young Fostern became responsible for minding and teaching cubs in the ways of the tribe, bonding in particular with one cub in her care.
  
  All was well until the fateful day of the raid. In the chaos she became separated from her precious charge, unseen hands dragging her away from the cub she had sworn to protect. She fought back as best she could, but fell limp as she received a blinding blow to the head that took her vision from her for a few minutes. Flailing blindly she reached for her mother's dagger, a bequeathed gift bestowed upon Miakoda during her Rite of Passage. As she swung it towards her attacker the spirit within the Fang Dagger came forth, biting deep into the raider and taking the very life-blood from him. Still clinging to the knife she slumped to the ground, unable to move, listening to the sounds of panic as her pack either fled or were slaughtered whilst she lay blind and wounded. Eventually, her sight began to return to her, light stinging her eyes as she squinted, just in time to see a pure white cub dragged from the cave. She screamed out his name over and over until an unseen blow to the head rendered her unconscious once more.
  
  When Miakoda came to, she was alone but for the bodies of a few of her fallen kin. With nothing to do but wait, she remained in the caern, hoping that some of those who had fled would return. Hours turned into days. Days became weeks. Seasons changed and none returned. Miakoda remained and as the months passed, she lost all purpose other than to defend the empty caern in case her pack returned. She kept the fires burning, hunted and stocked the stores, drove off passing rogues as best she could.
  
  One evening whilst she lay huddled by the fire a strange light burned into life near the caern entrance. Miakoda camouflaged herself, even with her pale colouring she blended into the darkness of the cave, watching the spirit approach. This was the first visit from her mother's numen. Many more followed and the doe brought with it other spirits, to continue to teach and grow the young Theurge. She began to hide away in the darkest reaches of the caern, lambent sight letting her wander as she pleased through darkness as black as pitch, with only the spirits to guide her. Eventually the colour began to fade from her eyes, no longer the icy blue of her tribe, but a liquid silver, seemingly pupiless, gathering all the light available. Her nose became her eyes, sense of smell growing so sharp she could shape the very world around her. The spirits continued their teachings until one day, as she lay resting after a hunt a shadow fell across the caern entrance and she looked up to see a tall, white haired male whose scent she recognised. Miakoda was no longer alone... one of the pack had found their way home.
