    Astrid: Sixth born and selfish. Astrid always looks out for Astrid. While she absolutely played up her sympathy for Mikkel to accept the co-Leadership proposal, she actually had very little. The thing is - all battle for the title is supposed to cease the moment the first hatchling shifts. The vote was unexpected, and she was pushed to a political pawn position instead of a leader position. If Mikkel had to step down, in her mind, since she was already screwed once, there was no guarantee that she would get the leadership. So, being Astrid, she took the only shot she had at for sure getting out of a pawn position, knowing that her brother would weaken more and more anyway.

    She is well aware that Mikkel is still technically one half leader of the Clan if he ever decided to come back, and as such she keeps a pleasant correspondence with her brother. Does she love him? In her own way, but only when it isn't inconvenient for her and her ambitions.

    Magda: Second born, second eldest by a whole thirty minutes. Magda has exactly 0 aspiration and interest for any sort of leadership. She is calm, cool, collected and a born mediator and diplomat. Politics are her game, and she plays her strengths well. Magda and Astrid are very close - she respects her sister's shrewdness though does not agree with her underhanded nature. Should Mikkel return, Magda is ready to once again play middle-woman between the siblings though her loyalties lie with her sister 100% and she makes no secret of it.

    Einaar: Third born and just as turbulent as his element. His temper is as quick to flare as it is to die and he always has a million and one things going on. Jack of all trades, master of none. He cannot sit still for long periods of time, always tapping his feet or fingers. Very twitchy. Takes no sides in his sibling's rivalry, prefers to keep to himself or hang out with the more mild-mannered Tollak. Is relatively close with Magda, having banded together as hatchlings, but doesn't like her devotion to Astrid who he sees as mildly sociopathic. Typically does whatever is asked of him without much argument so long as he can get something out of it.

    Tollak: Fifth born, quiet and mild-mannered. Rarely has an ill thing to say about anyone, always trying to find the good but not to the point of delusion. Very even tempered, like Magda, but prefers to stay out of politics all together. Smart as a whip, can follow multiple conversations at once without missing a beat in any of them. Very skilled with languages, a trait that none of the other siblings share, and often acts as an interpreter at his siblings' requests. Closer with their parents than any of the others and loyal to Mikkel. Tollak often took it upon himself to help Mikkel when he started to weaken. Though he's loyal to Mikkel and has made that clear to Astrid, they have a passable relationship. He disagrees with her on many fundamental things, believing the harder more straight forward path is better than a sneaky, manipulative easy one.
