  With his huge backpack up against the wall- his head pressed against the top of it and his knees against the bottom, the boy finally surrenders. He says,
  "I ain't got no name, everyone who meets me ends up calling me something different."
  
  He sees you glaring at his cigarette.
  "Don't look at me that way-I smoke to keep warm, and we're all gonna die eventually."
  
  You give him nothing but a stern, disappointed silence. The awkwardness of the situation is beginning to make him sweat pound. His hands have the texture of rained-on leather. He adds, "I aint got nothing but this backpack full of clothes, but I do alright. Sometimes weird things happen around me-"
  
  He looks at you with a flash of fear in his eyes. "-but oh, I don't wanna speak about that. It's ugly business. Enough unkind things in this here world to start muddying it up with my stuff!" He laughs, awkwardly. He doesn't even open his eyes to see if that cleared the tension, before he tips his hat and rushes off into the dirty alley way where you found him.
  
  You suddenly remember that you didn't even ask about your missing gold watch,which you could have sworn he had in his hand. You put your hands in your pockets, away from the cold and damp. and you feel it there. Like it had never gone missing in the first place...

  • Apperance: Short for his age, red hair with freckles, one eye hidden under a patch the he desperately doesn't want to be noticed, talks with a heavy twang.

  • Age: Unsure of his own age, between 11 and 13 roughly
  • From: Unsure of exact place, but knows he's wandered through Texas and Oklahoma extensively before ending up in a steampunk realm.
