Personality: He is nervous often, he tends to be chatty when nervous though, he is really friendly, but feels rather awkward a lot. He is really optimistic, even to a fault. He is an overachiever and hard-working, quick and resourceful which makes him great at his job. He feels emotions strongly. He crushes on people really easily and gets sad over things super quickly.

Dislikes: When people are angry at him; scary things; silence, but he fears he will be rude or obnoxious when talking; remembering names, because he is bad at it

Mannerism: He rocks his heels back and forth; he can easily feel awkward in a situation; usually has on a bright smile; his voice rises when he is scared; fills silence immediately.

Vampire part: He was turned to a vampire when he was 19, which was 26 years ago. He can’t get a drink because he looks so young. He doesn’t need much sleep but still has to sleep. He doesn’t think about his safety at all because he knows he will heal, even if it hurts. He is always running around, being reckless, and since he is still not used to his speed, he ends up colliding with walls a lot.

Work related: He works at a night club owned by another vampire. He has worked there for 10 years already, but it never gets boring. The person who was a manager before him, Ben, was a human. Javi found him scary but respected him. The club has an old deal with a hospital, through some not so legal ways. Ben established it and Javi has to continue it, it’s how he gets blood as well.

Madeline is a strong independent woman in all senses. She is a survivor. She made herself into what she is today without anyone's help, just her own wit and efforts. Now, she is rich and powerful. One of the best lawyers in NYC. She is highly respected. Among her colleagues, police officers or judges, Madeline is seen as a nice, kind woman but in the court, she is known to be ruthless. Everyone who had seen her being so kind and then seeing her in the court so merciless was shocked and speechless.

The way she acts around people is an act, nothing but a facade. If people like her, they are more prone to doing favors for her and letting her off when things don't go according to her plans. And she sure plans a lot. She never does anything without proper planning and preparation. She is extremely organized and determined. There is nothing that can catch her unaware. She is prepared for everything, at all times.

Madeline isn't close to anyone. She thinks of people and relationships as a weakness, something to be used against her in some way. She doesn't trust anyone but herself. She tried that once and it didn't turn out as she expected it to. She was too young then but she had learned her lesson. It was always just her against the world and it shall remain so.

Madeline never knew her real parents and so there was no one to tell her about the power within her. She found out about it only recently because of a certain incident. A man tried to mug her, he held a gun in his hand and she felt an urge to protect herself somehow and the power just manifested. At first, Madeline was scared and didn't understand what had happened, but she soon started to think of it as a new source of power.

She started researching it, but the materials, that were reliable, were hard to find. She soon found out that she would have to experiment to find the true extent of her power and what it really was. But one of the things that most websites, books, and articles seemed to have in common, was the word 'witch'.

Unfortunately, because there was no one to warn her about the side effects of using her power, by experimenting with it, Madeline's mind started to be affected. The darker parts of her personality started to show more. She wasn't ruthless in the court now only. The facade of being so nice was hard to keep up and she didn't even feel the need to. She wanted the power and didn't care about those around her. She kept on experimenting with the power, unaware of the risks and of her slow, but sure, loss of control.
