Tropes Expanded
- Adorkable- Socially awkward, a little strange, but kind and often optimistic.
- Hybrid Power- As a Dhampir, he has accelerated strength and speed from his father, but no weakness to the sun. Because of the discrimination he has faced, he has a soft spot for fellow hybrids.
- Stiff Upper Lip- Capable of keeping a straight face, even when all is chaos. His heavier emotions are reserved for when he is alone.
- Cuckoosnarker- Those that treat his strange nature as a lack of intelligence might see this side.
- Mirror Monster- His summons, and in a way, himself.
- Dark is Not Evil- Obscure, occasionally ominous, but never malicious or sadistic. Intentions imply a lighter alignment.
- I Am What I Am- Dhampir are typically outcasts, shunned by vampires and mortals alike. However, they are also often orphans. Having been raised by supportive parents, he was guided to accept all aspects of what he is, and in doing so has a high sense of inclusion.
- Badass Bookworm- Learned both in the arcane arts and combat (though he highly prefers talking to fighting).
- Specs of Awesome- He is often seen wearing a variety of eyepieces, and especially favors the simplicity of his monocle when reading.
- Cloudcuckoolander- A wayward intelligence, prone to mental excursions. In other words: he sometimes spaces out and says things that seemingly have no context.
- Tome of Eldritch Lore- The Grimoire.
- Beware the Nice Ones- He's nice to people. He's nice to animals. He's nice to the allied eldritch denizens of his mother's hell-scape home-realm.
- Collector of the Strange- Keeps curios from his adventures, and tends to keep strange company too.
- Selective Obliviousness- Refuses to outwardly acknowledge just how bizarre and sinister his mother's home realm is; treats mirror magic as something natural and unworthy of upset.
- All of the Other Reindeer- Neither human nor vampire; a mixed breed, race, and class which isolates him.
- Graceful in Their Element- Socially strange, but a brilliant spellsword.
- Friend to All Living Things- No matter how odd.
- Renaissance Man- "Better a Jack of all Trades than a master of one". Taught in etiquette and combat, magic and spiritualism, with not only an education on standard studies like math and literature but also religion and the supernatural. Learns with ease.
