Deep within the thick, ancient forests of the Dragonhead isles lies a rather simple cottage next to a rather peculiar shop. Not just because of it's remote location and sophistication in comparison to the untamed wilds surrounding it. But because of what lies within, does not match with what lies without.

The menagerie, a living 'collection' and just as well kept as any museum or gallery dedicated to the natural beauty and exotic appeal of life itself. Each exhibit, each 'habitat', perfectly suited to the amount and individual creatures within them. The expansiveness of it all, seeming to mirror a guests interest. Never too large as to get lost, or overwhelm. But not too small as to induce boredom or staleness - while seemingly showing only the exhibits that would entertain and delight the most.

it's from the population of this private collection, that the merchant pulls his wares. Selecting a mere sample of the creatures to go with him on his travels across the world, and lands beyond known borders. Even then, the stag seems to have something for everyone. A catalog at the fingertips of the curious and the interested, and one need only speak with the stag to acquire.

His business is also posted publicly, liberally, and with the over-saturation of a used car salesman. Informing that all one need do is post a letter to the posted address with a description of what they need a creature for, preferences of appearance, and desired personality.

Care Requirements: Minimal - A special food can be given, that cleans and helps maintain the inner clockwork parts of the creatures as often as a week, as as infrequently as every six months. Outer cleaning, can be done simply with a polishing cloth and standard medicinal rubbing alcohol.
Description: With a 'life expectancy' of 60+ years, these small clockwork sparrows make the perfect gift for the absent minded who want all the joys of a companion, without the worry of accidentally killing it from neglect. With all the behavior of a real sparrow, their varied quirks and personalities offer tailored options to the clients needs and wants within a pet. Small, lightweight, and durable as well. Care Requirements: Beginner - Fae Bunnies are a common pet, and a favorite among commoners and nobles alike due to their durability, adaptability, and travel friendly behaviors. So long as food is provided once a day (a mixture of fruits, veggies, and leafy greens) they generally retain good health and appearance. Interaction with their owners, is also flexible as they are just as happy to be affectionate as they are being left alone. However, care sure be taken to shelter the creatures during times or environments where magical disruptions and fluctuations are high. As over exposure to chaotic magic can make the creatures quite ill, if not begin to passively cause 'accidents' of their own. Such as clocks that suddenly tick backwards, or inanimate objects starting to move on their own.
Description: Small, friendly, and mild-tempered. The Fae bunny is a common pet to find in homes with children, or the elderly due to being a smart choice for the absent-minded. With a soft, luxurious coat of all sorts of colors and patterns, their magical nature and sensitivity make them good traveling companions or familiars of the magi.

Care Requirements: Intermediate - Due to their low intelligence, and only basic training that can be done with the beasts. Their dependence and need of supervision on behalf of their owners is vital if one does not wish to lose their purchase due to it wandering off. The creatures -can- be aquatic, but have no need for it to survive. They are however, entirely herbivores and require about 1/4th of their body weight in food per week.
Description: Durable, and long lived (about twenty years) they make good pets for those otherwise wanting a simple, sturdy companion for their travels or at home. Due to their relatively normal speed, it's been common for sailors or merchants to use the larger of the species as pack animals to haul cargo and wares across sandy islands, and deserts.

Care Requirements: Intermediate - The animals require a large enough body of water to comfortably soak and submerge themselves in for 4 hours minimum per day. In addition to spaces to adequately spread out their frills and soak in enough sun, or hide in enough shade to regulate their body temperatures. Given their meat-only diet, the larger of the species may cause some struggle on behalf of their owners to properly feed. As they must consume half their body weight in food per week to survive.
Description: While appearing close to common crocodiles, these frilled variants are as adept in the oceans and seas as they are on land due to their brackish and coastal adaptations. Due to their high intelligence, a wide variety of training can be applied to the beasts, and thus serve as good 'guard' animals for individuals and estates. They can even be 'bonded' to specific individuals to reduce aggression, or encourage aggression when that individual becomes alarmed or under threat.
