  Raine Castaway is two beings. A calm, shy, serene water nymph, and an energetic, dark, vengeful fallen angel. Here's how they became her.
  
  Raine Silvernight the water nymph had a perfect life. At age 3, she was crowned princess of her lake kingdom. A gold circlet sat atop her head. But one night, flames erupted on the surface of the water. She ran, the only survivor, where she met Lynn Castaway, a wandering fallen angel with a severe, fatal wound. Raine healed it, and in the process, joined souls with her. Raine Castaway.
  She wandered for a long time before Cam found her. He was a nice-looking 16-year-old boy with black eyes, jet-black hair, cream-colored skin, and a charming smile. He took her in and took care of her until she turned 10. Then...well, he threw her in his dungeon and tortured her every day for 6 years until she killed him and escaped. She became a sad person. Her wounds to this day show all over her body in small scars, nearly invisible. The ones on her cheek and neck are the ones people look to most often.
