A raging winter storm, made of flesh, bone and scale.. The dragon was immense, fifteen foot at the shoulder, with massive jaws, and claws meant for rending and tearing. A cluster of ivory horns protruded from his skull, and from the back a set of long sweeping curving ones. A wild mane, stark white as new fallen snow, partly hid away a row of sharp dark blue spines running down the back of his head and neck. His scales were a mixture of blues, fading paler, and finally to white on his feet. His underside was white as well, and as heavily armored as the rest of him. Deep dark blue wings were feathered, rather than leathery, and strong enough to carry the behemoth in flight. A long slender tail, often lashed behind him, bearing a row of bony spikes. Electric blue eyes were fierce and sharp, and filled with an intelligence far beyond that of a mere beast. The dragon was cool to the touch, often outright cold, scales sometimes giving off a light fog. At times there was an almost electrical tingle to the air around him, and a strong scent of ozone. |
He was still quite beastly when he took on a humanoid form; retaining many draconic traits. Just over seven foot in height, he loomed over the average man. His eyes were an icy blue, with reptilian slit pupils. A flowing mane of hair, white as snow reached mid back. In contrast, a well trimmed long goatee was a deep midnight blue, nearly black. Ivory horns arched up and back from the top of his head. Broad of shoulder and dense with lean muscle, his pale flesh turned to scaling on his arms and legs. The lower half of his legs was fully draconic, as what the long and powerful tail trailing behind him. Clothing tended to be simple, a simple pair of pants in clinging fine wool, or leather, and occasionally a jerkin or mere vest. One constant, was the strange amulet that hung around his neck; ice cold to the touch and filled with a strange and potent power. |

It was not uncommon for large dragons to be arrogant, and Raumr was certainly not an exception. He is quite convinced of his own superiority, and tends to look down on the lesser races, such as elves and anthro beings, considering them barely above animals. Despite this, he is not a wicked sort, he does not -hate- humans as some dragons do, he simply sees them as inferior creatures and does not expect much of them. Having lived his first handful of centuries purely as a dragon, far out in the frozen wastes, he is somewhat out of touch with mortal societies. He does not understand a lot of their customs or culture. As his mother and father both had a rather impressive hoard, he was more or less born into wealth as well. At around six hundred years of age he finally mastered being able to shape-shift into a more humanoid form. He did this more for practicality's sake. He vastly prefers to be in his natural form, and finds the smaller 'weaker' form somewhat constricting. But it has allowed him to travel more widely than he ever could as a dragon, and expand his wealth through trade. He also developed a strong case of wanderlust and enjoys traveling the world, and discovering what other lands beyond the frozen mountains he was born into, has to offer. |
