Born in 280 to Loreblood parents in the city of Cappadocia, George grew up in a tumultuous land during a tumultuous time. His fae blood mother, and drake blood father, did their best to protect him from the dangers that raged around them. After many years of avoiding various persecutions, George and his family fled the land, hoping to find a safer life. Travelling through the European wilderness for some time George's family was finally taken in by a kindly fae lady and her Mallan retainers, Queen Mab. Because of the different natures of the fae and drakes, George's parents became restless after they had finally found refuge.
After staying in Queen Mab's rocky island castle for a short time they made arrangements for their son to stay there permanently while they returned to their homelands. At the age of twelve, George was entrusted into her care and she raised him as her own son thenceforth. The Faerie Queene loved George and gave him the best she had to offer. George had a happy childhood and grew up a hale and bright young man.
After being taken in by Queen Mab, George pledged himself to her service. She gave him the heraldry of the Red Cross, and he came to be identified as the Red Cross Knight. She sent him on many quests and errands to bring aid to those in need throughout the world. One of his most notable excursions came when a small British kingdom was under attack by an evil dragon. The dragon destroyed crops, burnt homes, killed children and brought sickness and destruction wherever it passed. The dragon had terrorized the kingdom so badly that it was ready to surrender to the dragon's destruction. As a last resort Una, the heir apparent, left the kingdom to find help. Garbed as a mourner Una searched for a long time, and finally she heard tale of Queen Mab, the queen who aided the needy. Entreating the queen, Una was able to secure the help of the Red Cross Knight. Returning to the kingdom, the Red Cross Knight confronted the dragon and fought it. The Red Cross Knight fought the dragon long and hard for many days. The dragon was old and evil and very difficult to kill. Eventually, however, the Red Cross Knight prevailed and Una and her people were freed from the dragon's terrible grip. Because of this, and other deeds at the behest of those most in need, the red cross has become a symbol of hope and help throughout the world.
After defeating the dragon, Una and the Red Cross Knight fell in love and were married in the year 649; they lived together happily. Together they raised seven children and traveled the land until Una ascended the throne in her kingdom. When Una passed away in 687 the Red Cross Knight returned to the Faerie Queene and began, once more, to act in her service for the benefit of the needy.
They fell in love and were married in the year 1054; together they had one child. During their marriage they traveled throughout Europe, founding schools to help educate the populace. After Magdalene passed away in the year 1100 the Red Cross Knight once more returned to his post as the servant of the Faerie Queene.
