  Orientation: Whatever he can fit himself into, provided it doesn't squirm too much.
  Martial Status: Ha. Hahaha.
  
  Physical Description:
  Necessity has made Reuss a well-built creature. He is, admittedly, a little top-heavy, but he has a swimmer's build nonetheless. This is likely his only redeeming feature, as his face advertises his rough nature before he even opens his mouth. He's lost track of the amount of times his nose has been broken and a particularly nasty scar gnarls his lips. It is also very clear that Reuss doesn't take care of himself, as his hooded blue eyes are perpetually weighed down by bags and while clean, the man's mess of black hair is always unkempt.
  
  What is most unnerving, however, is the set of razor-sharp teeth and the gills that line his neck. The rising full moon confirms any suspicion that Reuss is no longer human. As a lycanthrope, he takes on the features of his affliction and becomes a fully-realized were-shark. Both his hands and his feet are lined with sharp claws and he gains slightly more girth from the were-shark's lankier limbs.. as well as a horrible appetite for flesh.
  
  Personality:
  The years spent being accused and ostracized as a beast have convinced Reuss to take up the mantle of a monster; he no longer has qualms about scaring people off and he's in no rush to try to change the poor opinion many have of lycanthropes. His humor is dry and self-indulgent, his patience is a rare commodity, and everything smaller than him is fit to be a meal when dinner rolls around. While this may have began as a front in order to face a society that had no place for him, the charade has hardened into reality. The closest thing to courtesy that can be wrestled from the man is outspoken honesty and callous (while practical) counsel. Unsurprisingly, Reuss has difficulty with interpersonal relations, unless this includes barking orders.
  
  As a seasoned captain of several successful crews, it is also Reuss' understanding that people are made to be used down to the last fiber. This doesn't exclude the man himself; Reuss is resilient to the extent that he seems unbreakable. He'll eat the nose right off your face if he's hungry enough and he'll fight until he doesn't even have the energy to spit on your good shoes. Life may have kicked him around, but Reuss refuses to bow out until he's had his fill. His work ethic is something to be reckoned with, and unfortunately, he plays just as hard as he works.
  
  Loves: booze, money, warm bitches.
  Likes: warm bathes, fellow sailors, second-hand smoke, a job well-done.
  Dislikes: hot days, cold days, having to explain himself, inarticulate people.
  Hates: feelings of inadequacy, inadequacy in others, secrets kept from him.
  
  Skillset:
  Tracking - Limited to wounded targets.
  Seamanship - Even the sorriest dingy will make the trip with Reuss as her captain.
  Management - Reuss' strongest asset as a captain is his ability to find the man best suited to a job.
  Fishing - Reuss won't come home from a fishing trip empty-handed, even if all he had that morning were his bare hands.
  
  Strengths:
  Persuasion - See: brute strength. Sometimes has trouble with the "reason" angle, though.
  Endurance - Able to withstand enormous amounts of pain and hold an absurd amount of liquor!
  Worldliness - Pal, he's seen some things. He will tell you about those things. But you may not like those things.
  
  Weaknesses:
  Hubris - Things are peachy until he realizes he cannot win but damn if he won't still try.
  Homeothermy - Extreme temperatures can and will quickly kill Reuss before the average Joe.
  Tactless - He's usually callous by choice, but even when he tries, it is difficult for Reuss to relate to others and not say something stupid.
