Wild and without a care in the world. Masculine creature, strong in figure and impish in mind. Living without a care and thinking nothing of what tomorrow might bring. Aloof and bright, a warm spirit burns bright within the depths of the ape mans chest, reflecting in warm eyes. Uneducated, though not foolish, a tendency to watch the world and those within it often have him fix upon something with an intense focus. Keen and eager to learn, though reluctant to be pushed around into things he does not want to do, how the baboon came to be in the life of slavery is unclear.. what is apparent though, is the man born within the trees seems unimpressed by iron bars that now imprison him.

He is in good shape, years of living wild having left him in good physical condition. Musculature is toned without being overly dominant, a fluid combination of strength and agility. Skin is a warm mahogany tone, with thick fur on his limbs, back and tail. His feet are formed more like hands, with opposable thumbs.
His hair is dark and in thick, heavy dreads that reach just below his shoulders.
Eyes are a dark brown, so much so that they almost look black at a passing glance.

Physical Markings:
Upon his face, cheeks are marked with blue stripes which get more intense with colour when feeling stronger moods. His nose is a warm red colouring. His posterior is the same blueish purple hue as his cheeks.

Unusual, rare species. Colourings make him stand out, as well as possessing an overall exotic vibe. Classically handsome face.

Bare save for a simple loincloth around his hips to offer some modesty.
Seems to show some resentment to being dressed up.

Feral or Cultured:
Refined feral. Not completely wild or beastly. He can happily communicate and interact with those around him, and poses little threat. However, he shows more interest in wanting to hang upside down in the pens and mannerisms are not up to scratch to be considered truly cultured.
Phobias:
An alarmingly strong phobia to fire. Open flames unnerve him, even when only candlelight. Tries to distance himself at all costs, and confronted with it results in wild behavior in bids to get away.

How do they present themselves:
Bright and friendly, intrigued with anything new and interesting. Seems not to know the meaning of personal space at times, can be a little too friendly.
Feelings towards being owned / rented:
He does not much approve of the situation of freedom being taken from him. He can maintain a friendly disposition, so long as he is not pressed into things he does not want to do, where his mood can quickly sour.
Overall Attitude:
Warm, friendly and curious. He seems to have an intrigue in most things around him. Not overly aggressive, he is more happy to relax and take things easy. Fun loving, when enjoying himself it is clear all over his face, though he can get defensive of those he considers worth protecting.

Development. I want to expose Shaka to the cold world of slavery, and put him in situations he may bot be comfortable with, but has to do. I wan him to learn, to grow. Interactions can be positive, they can be negative.
What are your allowances for your character:
I would not like to see Shaka die any time soon. Anything else though can pretty much be discussed, I am fairly open so long as, within the plot the idea is reasonable. A random, out of place occurrence that does not fit into the scene or make sense will not float my boat.
