  • Ox's Fantasy

    Swift claims to have graduated from the Magitek Academy in Garlemeld, but he also claims to be a member of the Sekiseigumi and a master samurai that uses an axe. There is no telling the origins of the Roegadyn beyond his life on the road. He was found among the rubble of the Ala Mihgo Castle, naked and afraid of something chasing him that had teeth like a shark but the face of a man. Regardless of what he encountered, some say it was one of the many monstrosities that had escaped after the destruction of the labs: or simply a delusion of a man trapped in war. No one had seen the Roegydan before nor heard of him. He claimed his name was Swift Oryx, but it seemed even this was possibly a lie. Why? Swift Oryx was the name of a legendary pirate that once sailed the Sirensong Sea before his ship and crew vanished.

    With no ties to anyone in Gyr Abania the Roegadyn traveled to the west with all but his name as hint of who he could have been or could become. He roamed the abandoned wastes of Mor Dhona, towards Cartaneau where he became lost. Nearly dying of dehydration the Roe was found by participants of training exercises and was delivered to the closest station in Ul'dah where he has been to this day.

  • Ox's Horns

    • Guard; Using his weapon he can defend from incoming attacks, both physical and magical, and fight them off for a single turn.

    • Aura; Concentrating his pools of aether throughout his body he enhances his vigor and sets aside a burst of adrenaline that will wake him from an unconscious state, once.

    • Meditate; Meditating all his strength into his aether the warrior can eliminate a single status ailment, but he is vulnerable to attack whilst immobilized in concentration. It takes one turn.

    • Mow Down; Swinging his ax and body around he can attack all enemies within a range in a large radius (5 fulms), but this reduces his speed and ability to evade for a turn.

    • Tremor; He is capable of slamming his weapon into the ground with such force taht it is capable of knocking back opponents within a cone of power.

    • Meltdown; In a rage he can rupture his aether bubble, sending it outward in a wave of pysical power to damage all enemies around him. The force is determined by his remaining vigor and he instantly falls unconscious after the ability.

    • Expert Guard; For a single turn he can eliminate any and all damage incoming, but this costs vigor and he becomes immobilized for a time until the ability ends.
