    Tab's egg was abandoned for an unknown reason. He hatched in a dirt ditch, his egg encrusted in mud. He was found by a kindly farmer, who helped raise him all throughout his short human life. When he passed away, Tab was free to do what he wished, decided to devote his life in defence of those who needed it, or who hired him.

    Skarlet - Skarlet gave Tab new life and meaning, after finding him half dead due to a deadly toxic poison that pierced his wings from an arrow tip. Skarlet proceeded to heal Tab by giving him an antidote, and in return, he swore to always protect his newfound friend.

    Voi - Voi would have been a snack for Tab, but Skarlet had firmly informed him not to, as he was the defender to her sister. It wasn't long, however, that the two became friends and - when Taeko and Skarlet were together and safe - the two foten drank and sang together at a local mead hall (as inns just weren't big enough for Tab to fit).
