  Strength

  His main use before arriving at the tether was being a scout, a messenger. He can defend himself, but most of the time he'd be kept out of the frontlines and if he was to be used as a damage dealer, he was sent out as an assassin to sneak through the enemy defences where he could do damage, hiding his traces afterwards with that massive tail of his that would clean his path when the boy was done. His hands aren't going to be breaking any bones though, for the most he's capable of is strangling 2 and a half men before needing to recover

  
  

  Speed

  Being a messenger, speed is everything. You have to be able to get the messages to your other troops as quickly as possible. This is what he has been trained for, and well, through out his life it has been more apparent that he is better at running than punching - so they basicly focused on the aspects where he was good at. Dodging is his suite too, being a bit smaller in size and having a smooth almost silky fur making it even harder for the enemy to get a hold of him

  
  

  Stamina

  Again, being a messenger, he has to be able to endure the distances. And with more and more errands to run, he build up the stamina on each trip

  
  

  Weapons

  A pair of daggers. The main weapons he would use include knives, daggers, a bow and arrows - all weapons that he himself has used before
  + He has had the rare opportunity to test out the new 'techonoly' that is called out By the name 'gun' or a 'firearm' to some. He wasn't too fond of that one though, the weapon isn't too reliable and the sound it makes could give his stealth away + it hurts his ears

  Kasathria stretches and yawns as she heads out onto the arena floor. She had heard tonight was a special fight. She probably should have paid more attention, but she was distracted with trying an experiment on a pumpkin plant. A kinda fun experiment, but still an experiment. One she'll see the result of after the fight. She's changed since her last time in here, switching to halter-style leather top with a knee-length leather skirt, both patterned with Celtic runes and swirls in blue. And her fur continues the pattern, with it extending across much of her body. Raven feathers are braided into her hair, for added fun. And now, she takes up a stance and nods to her opponent as he comes in. Definitely not who she was expecting.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had just gotten those bandages of his removed, felt nice to have some air for his arms after a few days of containment. It felt nice. He wasn't exactly sure if he'd feel as nice soon, but he was feeling rather daring. Who else would be dumb enough to challenge the cougar? Well, apparently some minty smelling ointment did his self-esteem some wonders as he walked in, trying to get his feet used to the flooring. It looks like Kasathria was there already, and the expression on her face was... Well... To be expected? Well, he'd try to do his best against her. It was good that he'd go against a person he knew but he wasn't going to ask for it to be any easier than any other of the feline's fights. "Good evening Mistress Kess" He bowed on to her. "I'll try to learn from you, so don't go too soft on me."
  
  Kasathria smiles briefly to him as he takes his position. "Good evening to you as well. Ihave to say I'm surprised. But, we'll see how you do." She grins as she takes up a fighting stance. "I won't use some of my fancier moves against you just yet... I don't think you're ready for an opponent who can fly just yet." She shifts to be on her heels, watching him more. And then goes for a straight-forward charge, aiming to punch him in the chest. She's holding back a lot, more than she would with Nayara; not really wanting to hurt him so much as teach him and test his reflexes. Plus, see how he does with an attack that simply comes straight at him.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov prepared himself. The boost to his self-esteem preventing him from shaking. Kess was an intimidating opponent, but he knew that she was more than just looks, he had seen her do some work and had talked to her on few occasions before that. His best chance was to try and avoid her, any single hit he'd take would cost him dearly and he knew that. His ears flickered lightly as he noticed that the woman had started to make an effort to move, but god, he was not expecting her to get close that quickly. The canid would try to go for a hasty side step to avoid the up coming hit, but his reflexes weren't quick enough, the cougar got a near clear hit onto him and surely that sound from his side motioned towards something being a little less intact there. The punch had probably caused him a few broken rib bones. He couldn't keep that inside of him, not having experienced such a hit before he'd let out a pained yelp as he practically flew to the other side of the arena, but before that he would try to get one of his loaned daggers to cut Kasathria's side, with the speed of being flown away hopefully adding to the damage and giving him a chanse to excape afterwards
  
  Kasathria curses as she sees him come in with that dagger. She had forgotten about weaponry being involved, and had not taken that into consideration. She was just lucky he didn't have a stab waiting for her. As she spins away, that dagger manages to cut the side of her shirt and to slide along her fur. It doesn't manage to cut her skin, but she can certainly feel it press against her. She finishes the spin and then jumps toward him, aiming another punch for his midsection. A bit lower this time, so she doesn't hit his ribs again. Not nice to punch someone in the stomach, but she figures any bruising will heal faster than broken bones.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had to count on the adrenaline to keep himself going. The boy coughed as he got up, holding his side. He was shaking lightly now, but this is what he had been expecting. It wasn't going to be easy and he'd be glad that he could even stand after that hit that he'd just taken. The walls weren't soft either, but he wasn't going to just stay there and wait for the cougar to get back in for another hit. He knew now how fast she could move - or so he thought. He had no time to really even adjust to the situation before the cougar came back at him. The pain radiating from his side causing him to loose footing and fall victim to the other hit as well. That... That sure was a disappointment... And what bothered him the most as he fell was that he had taken some great chance of having a nice fight with someone else form Kess. Man, he stood no chance against that kind of power. With the arena blacking out in his eyes, he'd lose the grip of his loaned weapons and pass out.
  
  Kasathria moves quickly, cursing as her second blow renders him unconscious. She tries to keep him from hitting the ground, then sighs and picks him up. Someone else can retrieve the weapon; she's intent on getting him to the infirmary so he can heal and recover. And on her way, she smiles just a bit; she intends to leave him with a present: The fur from her side where his dagger hit, which had been cut by the blade. And a note telling him that he came very, very close t making her bleed and that he did amazing for someone who doesn't know how to fight. Because in her eyes he did, and in time he'll be quite, quite dangerous indeed. In time, and with training. But now, at least. he had a taste of it.

  Berwyn, decorated with well-serviced armor of his native lands, strode into the arena with his head held high and eyes narrowed in the glare of the afternoon sun. The gryffe's face was its own brand of stoic grimness, gaze tracing the contours of the weathered walls with heightened familiarity. How soon the arena had seen action previously mattered little; with his pair of long daggers held at the ready, there was little doubt that it would soon receive a fresh sample of lifeblood.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov made his way onto the arena, with a pair of daggers in his hands. His side was now all better, although he could still feel the impact from a week ago. Hopefully this one would be a bit more of a match. Something that he could learn more of at least. Let's hope so. He was facing another familiar person today, the one that had helped him to get his side looked at while at the atrium a month or so ago. Ah, yes, he was very thankful and respecting of the gryphon and would there for greet him with a smile. "I wish you the best of luck~ Hopefully this will go all smoothly." The last part was added for many reasons. But first of all, he hoped that it wouldn't end like the battle a week ago had ended. He'd be taking a battle stance, leaning bit forward and ever so slightly to his left side, buy kept his eyes on the avian all the same, watching his moves carefully.
  
  Berwyn's ear twitched as the boy approached him in the arena - though Toffi wished for a more fulfilling fight, Berwyn had want for a quick resolution. Indeed, seeing the boy face him armed touched him with soft nostalgia of his own son goading him to a spar. He wished not for the boy to suffer needlessly. "I wish the same," He'd respond, briefly bowing his head to his new, young opponent. Abruptly, the knight sprang into action, lunging forth with a bladed arm for a stab towards Toffi's waist.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov lowered his stance a bit, trying to get some more strength onto his feet for a dodge to be possible. Yet again the opponent would be trying to hit the canid from the front. This should be manageable, but miscalculations happen. Always. The canid would make an attempt on moving out of the avian's way, taking a step to the side, but his estimates on how much was enough to dodge while keeping the possibility for a comeback stab... Well, he failed that this time, feeling the unfamiliar dagger that the other male wielded cut his side. Those wings had made him calculate it all wrong. The boy temporarily wrinkled his face, closing his other eye and bit his teeth against each other to keep the pain contained. He didn't want the avian to know how far he'd go with his bleeding side before he'd retaliate. Once he had got both his feet onto the ground, he'd be ready to strike back. Christofer doubted that he'd quite yet be able to disarm the man, but he'd go forth and slash a daggers blade towards their dagger wielding arm that had just cut him, hoping to cause at least some harm to it so that the avian would have harder time holding onto his weapons.
  
  Berwyn. In the midst of battle, Berwyn did not show his regret for striking the boy so harshly. Being the larger opponent, the young canine did have an easier target to hit; when Toffi's strike came for his arm, Berwyn twisted the limb only slightly too late - the blade sliced through the leather underbelly of his wrist guard, but ricocheted off of the plate of cerulean metal. It failed to disarm the avian, but it hurt like Hell and bleed profusely. With a grunt, Berwyn pivoted aside, and came out of the spin with a wing extended, meaning for the feather-covered limb to hit Toffi upside the head with a clubbing stroke. Whether or not he succeeded, the boy would find a taloned foot shooting straight at his back for a sharp kick. [Double]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was glad to having got a decent hit in. He didn't wish to do any unhealable damage towards the other man, but he knew that playing too softly wasn't going to cut it either. Apologies would be saved to the end, he'd have to stay focused now. He'd keep a sharp eye on those wings, they seemed to be made of trouble. And that's what Berwyn seemed to be thinking too, as a wing was directed towards his head. Luckily the German was awake at that moment and he was able to duck out of the hits way, but the sharp pain on his waist prevented him from advancing far enough away from the second attack, talons pretty much digging onto the bare backside part of his like some prey animal. Although it was a different spot, it felt almost just as painful as Kasathria's punch onto his side. He managed to struggle himself off the grip, his back deeply cut and with some bleeding that would be staining his backside with ease. His posture was more hunched over now, almost taking support from the arena itself. He squeezed the daggers, trying to keep himself conscious as the pain was telling him to lay still and stop, but instead the canid would not let the avian escape, leaping after the man and attempted to go for another hit towards the avian's arms, this time the other one to try and cripple that one too. A stab right back at him was going to likely happen as well though, and so he'd use the strength of the leap directed towards the arm as a bit of an extra strength and movement room so that he could turn and smack the avian onto their other arm with his massive tail, both to distract him and push the thread away and to get himself some room to get distance. [Double]
  
  Berwyn was impressed with how the youth still remained standing - if anything, it showed Toffi's potential for the arena. The boy's strike upon Berwyn's previously-unharmed arm had him hiss out in pain, retreating a pace to avoid that fluffy tail tail in time. "A good hit," He applauded grimly, but lunged for the canid boy again to strike out for Toffi's face, attempting to smash the pommel of his dagger against the boy's jaw and hopefully bring the fight to a close.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov, barely conscious, could not hear Berwyn's words of encouragement, no, he was far gone for is ears to hear him. His bleeding back having all his attention, his feet partly paralyzed on place because of it, wanting to kneel down. And maybe he should have listened to them and knelt down, but no, instead he tried to stay standing and just simply couldn't turn his head in time or order his legs to kick him backwards to avoid the hit. He'd not have any luck on telling his feet to move, nor any other body part of his. When he did move, it was due to the motion caused by the hit aimed for his head. It hit, although the canid couldn't exactly feel it, nor could he feel the few seconds he spent in air nor the thumb when he hit the arena floor again, landing on his shoulders. It was another loss for him... But, at least he had tried a bit harder this time - he'd think as he drifted away
  
  Crowling was quick in summoning the medics to pick up her unconcious slave and take him to the infirmary for proper care, since he wasn't going to be staggering out on his own. A momentary glance was given to the avian, and she'd click her teeth faintly. "I will have to see a proper fight with you soon." She commented, only to wander off to pay for the boy's injuries.
  
  Berwyn knew from the second his weapon hit Toffi, that the boy was out of the match. Locked in a stance for a second, he simply watched as Toffi collapsed in a puddle at the avian's feet. His broad shoulders would soon sag with a sigh, and he took a quick moment to wipe his blades clean before sheathing them. The knight was in relatively good shape, and had no qualms in leaning down to scoop up the lad - but the medics had arrived, and he would back off from the other slave to let the professionals carry him off. Once again, Berwyn was responsible for Toffi's removal to the arena, but the circumstances were much different this time. Crowling's promise was heard, and the gryffe looked up to the redheaded woman with a hard look. "Soon." He agreed, voice lowly growled before he moved out of the arena to treat his own wounds with some fresh emergency linen wraps.

  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had fetched his pair of daggers. Nervous fingers would clutch onto the handles of both, and if he'd had the choice, the canid would have retrieved back into the underhall. But he did not want to disappoint his opponent, so no matter what, he'd make his way to the arena, whether it be her pushing him there or else. The canid took an observing look around as he arrived. It looks like his Mistress hadn't been able to come witness it, but it could be for the better - the outcome would be reported to her anyway. Hopefully the canid could manage to stay awake until then. He had hopes, but his opponent was nothing to take lightly. A little too nervous to speak as of yet, he'd wait in all of his pink glory for the woman to come in. He hadn't really been seeing her much lately.
  
  Nayara would follow Toffi once he steps in the arena wearing those knives. Wearing her usual attire for unarmed fights, top and loins, the Bronze Feline showed up to him not holding any weapon as she promissed for their fight. Naya gave Toffi a gentle smile, an expression she wouldn't do in the next minutes before she stands close to the arena's center looking at him. "Toffi, before we get started, lemme tell you to not hold yourself just because I'm one of your closest friend in this place. I do have a serious intention to beat you up badly if you don't take care, okay?", she then assumes her fighting stance and she would frown at him as she readies herself for the fight. "Good luck and good fight, Toffi.", she bid while she starts to circle around the pink furred canid.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov shook his head, trying to get the nervousness to flee. He hadn't felt nervous when it came to going head to head with Kasathria or Berwyn, but why now? It.... It was probably because of the pressure of fighting his former roommate, or the pink color taking away his confidence... Or something else. He couldn't let that get over him though, and so the canid took a more prepared position, leaning slightly to the left to give him a head-start. One could follow his feet, legs, back, going lower as if he'd be storing some strength in them. And when the leap finally came, it wasn't going to the predicted direction, instead he'd jumped back and was trying to use it to cut the leg that was more open. He took a grip at the end of the dagger's handle to keep some more distance between them as he attempted to slash Nayara. He'd try crippling her legs, trying to prevent her from going for a chase afterwards
  
  Nayara continued to eye him carefully not taking lightly on him at all. She knew despite the lack of his strenght, he was still using those knives to stand a chance against his unarmed contender. When Toffi leaped and attempted to slash his knife on Nayara's leading leg, the neko would quickly hop a step back and letting go a grin. "Going for the legs as a starter to try to cripple me?", she comments while she tries to hop forward and use her hips as she swings a firm KICK hoping to strike on Toffi's LEG with the same intention to cripple the canid early in this fight by breaking it or dislocating his knee. "Two can play this game!"
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was still too hesitant, it was dangerously close that he didn't lose a grip of his weapon with that strike. It was so bad. The canid had no time to wail in shame though, he'd have to keep moving. If Nayara even touched him he'd be toast, weapons or not. Luckily the ground didn't try and trap him on place, Nayara's kick being left far behind as he made his way far from that strike. Oh, yes, it was a game all right. And that game they'd play as he took a sharp turn to go for her other leg, hoping to be luckier this time.
  
  Nayara missed her kick thanks to Toffi's agility and not only that, but he made a decent strike as his knife slashed on her muscular thigh. But most for his surprise, Nayara didn't let go even a soft yelp of pain, enduring it and not wanting to give him the pleasure (or maybe worry) in have effectively wounded his friend. It was a nice attack, and Naya hopes to do a better attack as she tries to run towards him and grab the canid firmly as she tries to give him a fierce headbutt right on his nose!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was more glad that Nayara didn't seem too bothered by the cut, not that he'd have suspected anything less, but he was starting to get a hold of it. Good good. He was too stuck on looking at the damage he had done to dodge the hand that was reaching for him, barely avoiding escape and she had caught him. He couldn't exactly feel the yank due to the mass of fur there, but boy, did he feel the headbutt. Oh god. There is was. That cursed hit that he took every single match. It'd leave his ears ringing, get his vision flashing some white and black lights at him. His muzzle was pretty pained at that point, his fangs holding onto their places but there was some heavy bleeding on his part. He had to get away from her, so the canid would struggle, try regaining his senses as he slashed a dagger at the hand holding him still.
  
  Nayara could even draw a slight mean grin in a split second as she managed to land the headbutt on Toffi's nose. And that indeed will sting on him for a couple of days indeed. The neko don't waste time and tries to perform one of the Strong Style she uses to train for fights like this and when Toffi tried to slash his knife on Naya's arm, he slashed nothing but air as the Bronze Feline tries to get behind him and hold on his shoulder and pants waistline before she tries to lift him up and slam his TORSO down on her KNEE in a rib breaker!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov, with his blurry pained vision, was in trouble. That hit was critical and he missed it. However, so did the neko miss her own attempt and the canid was back at the struggling again, trying to keep her consciousness. Another attempt at her wrists was made
  
  Nayara blinks as Toffi recovered quick enough to try to slash his knife at her wrists but unfortunately for him she avoided the strike as well. Showing him she isn't here for play and making sure about what she said before the fight, Nayara tries to grab for his head again and pull it down firmly as she tries to bash her knee on his face. Not only once, but TWICE!!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was not having a good day. Another miss on that fleeing attempt. That would pay him dearly. Very dearly. He managed to avoid the first strike but the second one knocked him out cold. Literally out cold. As soon as that knee hit his bleeding face he was out. That simple. He wasn't moving anymore, the boy had gone completely limb and no dagger would be raised again.
  
  Nayara had to admit Toffi have some fierce determination to keep fighting and it was shown when he avoided most of her brutall attacks... He did even managed to avoid the first knee striked aimed at his face altough he probably wasn't expecing a second strike and maybe this lead him to be knocked down and out as Nayara hit him brutally. As the fox was out cold, the neko quickly picked him up and gestured for the meds to run to the arena and check the brave canid to wake him up. While he was being caried out of the arena and towards the infirmary, Nayara followed them too to check on his friend as well, being the rough but caring feline she is towards the opponents who are her friends out of the arena.

  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov made his way to the arena, taking a deep breather of the outside air when he could feel the sun on his fur. The canid stretched his legs, bending his feet to face different directions as he warmed up. He'd want to be swift, like always. Hopefully today was a good lucky day. Toes felt around the floor of the arena, sandy or clean, anything worked as long as he didn't trip on it. Daggers readied, the canid stood waiting for the opponent. Good luck and good game. Less nervousness and misses.
  
  Ove was quieter than usual, today, and he entered the arena with just a nod given to Toffi. He had been intent on seeing the canid in action, even if the poor guy had an issue with his fights so far. Too skinny, probably, but he certainly wouldn't say that to him. Readying his seaxes, the viking straightened his posture. "Am ready when you are." He had gotten his ribs dealt with, atleast, so he wouldn't be going through the fight in a great deal of pain.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov greeted the other male with a smile, he wasn't expecting one in return but it would help his own body to stay less tense if he'd think of it positively. Neither of them seemed to be in all that talkative of a mood, but at least the nods were shared. He'd take his stance after the other, planning on going for something slightly different this time. The canid had never targeted their opponent's head before, but this was as good of a time as ever to give it a try. With strength packed behind his feet, Christofer took few strides for gaining some speed before leaping up and attempting to strike Ove's temple by using his massive tail so that there'd be more force behind the hit and less chances on missing.
  
  Ove had no intentions of a hit to his face getting through and he'd bring his own blade up to parry Toffi's, hopefully resulting in the canid flopping down. If not immediatly, the viking would send him there with a punch sent out towards his bottom jaw. Eye for an eye, of sorts, even if the canid hadn't managed to hit him.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov frowned slightly as he missed his first attempt. Then again, anyone could have seen that hit coming. Shoot, maybe he should try hiding it better next time. His attempt on hitting him had failed, and so had his attempt on getting away from the man as the vikingr would land a rather clean hit to his face, getting him back to remembering his old state just a week ago. He'd need that neck support back after this fight. Blood was starting to drip from his mouth again and his head felt dizzy, dazed. A cough was given after that rough landing and he'd stain the floor with some red drops. Briliant. He'd have to goin some distance before Ove could get his hand back onto him. The canid had attempted on slashing one of his daggers at the hand that punched him right as he was pushed away by the force. The canid now tried to use that as a distraction as he went back to slahing the other hand of te man, hopefully softening further blows. [ Double ]
  
  Ove didn't draw his fist back in time and the blade cut through easily, but not deep enough to leave more than a nasty slash. It'd offer an irritating sting, but he'd deal with that later The second attempt was avoided, and he lashed out with one of his own blades at Toffi's dominant arm to strike out at his elbow. He readied his second blade for another possible parry, stepping back a couple paces.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov tried to keep his distance to the man, but they weren't lying when they talked of them as the speedy one of the family. Luck was still not on his side it seemed as the boy caught onto him and managed to give the canid some trouble by hitting him. It was only a small hit though, hardly felt after the pain that had numbed him. He had gotten used to this by now. As long as he was still breathing and conscious he'd keep going. The first hit always hurt the most, right? Seeing the viking backing out, he'd allow himself a breath to clear out his head instead of blindly going after the man while he was seeing double. After his vision stabilized, he'd take aim at the man, throwing one of his daggers towards Ove's hand. He really didn't want to do that, it was a risky move altogether, but he doubted he'd have the chance to slash at him with both his daggers at hand, he'd have the time to retrieve the other one when hopefully the throwing could at least cause some motion on the man
  
  Ove's reaction to the thrown dagger was done without any thought, but it was more of an impulsive response, and he attempted to catch it. Of course, it was a pretty bad move on his part, as one expected (aside from him anyway) and he probably had the thing sink into his palm for a moment. Ow. He considered grabbing his seax after removing the offending object, but went without for now, since he still had the other. Going after Christofer again, Ove attempted to stab his remaining seax into the boy's ribs.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov didn't have time to really think of his next move. His only plan for now was to run and he'd attempt on moving around the edges of the arena to go and retrieve his thrown blade. He was not quite fast enough, the sand under his feet slowing him down as he'd cough out some more red to decorate it, even before Ove could come from behind his focused eyesight. He'd attempt on moving out of the way, but the length of the seaxes exceeded that of his own pair of blades and so the weapon would get a nice cut through that pink fur of his, making it redder in shade. That one, unlike the hit on his shoulder, he could feel. His head was starting to get clouded by now though, his feet losing control over themselves. ...... Maybe this time he'd know when to stop... He didn't want to pass out the 4th time... The canid laid down, placing the remaining dagger away from himself and laid on his good side, holding his hand up as a sign of yielding. He was in a bit too much pain to form words....
  
  Ove usually tended to wait to see if his opponent was going to get back up or not after a hit like that, so he immediatly relaxed when Toffi yielded. "Good fight." He said with a nod, sheathing his own weapons and he'd check the damage to his hand quickly. After grabbing the dagger the canid had lost, Ove would help him up and off to the infirmary. Toffi probably needed to get there quicker than himself, so the viking wasn't going to focus on his injuries too much before that.

  Monstrum had made himself busy during the day until the next match, which was to say he harassed the bar staff for drinks and whomever else had the misfortune to be spending their time there until it was time to return to the arena, arriving at the terraced seats with the subtle tinge of gin to his fur. The Gladiator, however, seemed to be stone cold sober. "Welcome back to the second match of the Slave Tournament. Tonight we have Christofer Markov and Xolotl squaring off for a position in the semi-finals. Markov is our underdog for this evening with a ratio of eight-to-one, and Xolotl is our steady with a betting ratio of four-to-one."
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov made his way to the arena, having been preparing for the battle in the underhalls. Deep breaths were taken as he was trying to keep himself calm. Eyes were closed briefly, he hadn't a reason to start worrying yet. The battle hadn't physically even started yet, but in his mind he was getting prepared for it. Had been preparing like that for some days now. Opening his eyes, the canid took a better grip of his sharp pair of daggers, he'd take a secure place from near the middle of the arena in all of his 'fairy blessed' pink glory, awaiting for his opponent.
  
  Xolotl had taken the liberty to arrive early. Standing near the wall opposite her would-be opponent, the tall canine hybrid examined her preferred women with mild scrutiny. She had taken some time to heal, and tend to rentals; it would be her first time back on these bloodied sands, and in a tournament no less. She quietly breathed in the dusty humid air before turning those golden eyes onto the moderator, listening attentively to the Gladiator's words before her attention veered onto Christofer. The Primordial pushed herself from her position and took a few steps forward. "May the Gods bless us equally," she commented flatly, offering the male a nod in affirmation. Her fingers gripped her steel-bladed weapon, tapping it to her calf idly before taking on a fighting stance. "I like your fur color." It was a compliment, truly.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov gave a nod to the female as she made her way to the ring. "Let's make it a good one." A light smile would be shared before the canid took a step back. Christofer took his stance shortly after the arrival of the darker colored canid, leaning slightly forward and putting some weight on a specific leg to allow himself some more strength on his strike. It had to be swift. He'd go for a slash to the female's side, somewhere under the ribs on the non primary hand side - if she wasn't ambidextrous. He'd try making it a smooth quick cut, letting himself pass the other canine being swiftly to get some distance after the hit.
  
  Xolotl could not help but smile in response. It was an odd thing really, she rarely smiled. Rows of pearlescent fanged teeth were shown, but it faded as he advanced towards her. It wasn't that she was upset, but she owed her opponent her full strength as she expected from him as well. The fight began, and so it was show time. "As you wish," she replied coolly. As he moved forward in hopes of cutting through her right side, she quickly turned away which caused him to miss. In return, she swung her macuahuitl and aimed for a slash across his back. The canine would then spin away once more, if allowed, as she began kicking up dust in her wake.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov made a turn in his movement. Shoot. The opponent seemed to be a bit thinner that he had thought or something along those lines. That's what he got for battling people that were built differently than him in a way, he should have tried his luck with more varieties. But that was a worry for some other day. The turn from earlier had been sharp though, he wouldn't let his back open on his opponent this time and so Xolotl's blade went and missed its target. The German then would attempt another swift strike to the female's side. He wasn't going to let her have time to recover or get any more distance from him that he himself needed for his hits.
  
  Xolotl's attempt at swinging back around to greet him with a cut was not as fruitful as she had hoped. The distance he managed to create was enough to evade her attack. The corners of her mouth twitched in disappointment, but she accepted it. It was just the beginning, right? "Well shit," she grumbled to no one in particular. "Que chingaderas, that always happens to me," her spitting of foreign curse words echoed soon after. However, she was quickly on alert once more as he swung to cut at her side. She breathed in and backpedaled just enough to avoid the attack. From there, she pointed the blunted end of her weapon towards him and rammed it forward into his sternum in hopes of pushing him back some. If it caused damage, that was even better.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov frowned slightly as the other slipped from his blade's way again. He had to hit more accurately. But so did his opponent if she planned on leaving a scratch on him. The German was not distracted by her foreign words, turquoise eyes following her blade in a very focused manner, and so the strange bladed object would only find air to hit again as the canid made his way swiftly to the side again. But curse that side of hers. He'd keep on attacking the middle area still, jabbing his dagger at her abdomen this time, following it with a little push in order for him to detash the blade more easily so that he'd get back the distance he wanted.
  
  Xolotl underestimated her opponent's apparent agility, and as he managed to escape her blow to his front, she grumbled lowly to herself. What God's bowl of cereal did she piss in to deserve this luck? Not that Christofer was fairing any better it seemed. "We must have upset someone in a past life," she barked as he moved to strike once more. Her lips pursed before swinging her towering frame from the sharp points of those daggers, only to bring those razorblade edges of her weapon diagonally across his ribcage. Her serpentine tail lashed out wildly, sending waves of dirt spraying behind her and onto anyone who might be in the vicinity of it.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov kept his calm. A little trade of misses was fine. If nothing else, he'd outlast the female in some other way if he had to. He'd not let her words bother him, but those words struck so true. He was cursed. As the blade came for the third time, she would hit him, brutally, letting blood spill onto the arena floor. But even though the canid was pained, he wasn't going to let her hold him down. He'd use the power of the strike to get some distance between the two before striking her yet again onto her stomach, pushing himself away afterwards and attempting to throw one of his daggers right at her chest afterwards while she was still distracted. As brutal as that sounded, he'd cut her in half if he had to. [Double]
  
  Xolotl spoke too soon. She was ready to swear and curse some more, but when those blades stuck into her opponent with an unsettling squelch and rip, she nearly yipped in excitement. Though her excitement was short lived. The blow to her stomach was met with a grimace, the cut was deep enough to draw some blood. She breathed through the mild burgeoning of pain before he threw another blade towards her chest. It hit; sinking into her flesh and fur the same way the cut to her abdomen did. The canine chuckled as she winced, not bothering to remove the weapon. "The Gods are showing favor now," she remarked. It was then that she bolted forward, sending droplets of blood onto the flurry of sand beneath her. Bringing that blunted tip towards him once more, she brought it hard against his sternum and then those blades across his abdomen in an attempt to return the favor. (double)
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov felt a slight relief. If they were going to trade misses, then they might as well trade some hits. His accuracy would not fail him with that throw, and when it hit its target he was feeling more confident of his chances. His torso might have been bleeding, but he sure as heck wasn't going to give up. No more disappointments for his Mistress. He was determined. The canid swiftly took a step back, avoiding Xolotl's first strike, but the second one came too closely after, he'd not have the time needed to recover from that one and more blood was spilt. A cough of blood from his mouth colored the sand just a little more, bladeless hand twitching towards the hurt spot but he resisted holding it. He was not giving up. Another striking attempt was made towards the woman's chest as he then tried retrieving his second blade and make a run for it.
  
  Xolotl might as well title herself the Queen of Misses, and while her second blow fell into her favor, the first evade left a bittersweet taste in her mouth. As he sputtered blood, she brought a quirk of her eyebrows before he flew forwards in an attempt to drive his dagger into her chest. It hit, and it was enough to draw far more blood than before, spilling down her front like sticky war paint. She gasped audibly in pain as she moved to bring her macuahuitl up into his wounded stomach, before he managed to escape she hoped.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov retrieved his blade in a swift movement, quick strides made to get distance from the possible follow-up attack that might have been coming from the woman. He wasn't going to let her hit him. This was the most he'd allow on her to do to him. Her strikes would be avoided, he was determined about it. The attack directed at him would swing air just as he had promised for it to do. This was his chance. If he could end it here. No, he Would end it here. A snarl would be let out as he took a swift leap towards the woman attempting to end it all with a 3rd strike onto her chest, this time with a lot more force behind it.
  
  Xolotl's weapon was met with air instead of a bleeding stomach. As blood dribbled from her open mouth, and his second attack came. The blade did not do as much damage as the others, but it was enough to leave her coughing up a large amount of blood. It poured out in a glob onto the floor, causing the tall canine to buckle onto her knees and hunching forward. Luckily her arms moved to catch her before she went face first into the ground. "Good fight," she gurgled at her opponent before she slumped over, fainting from the blood loss no doubt.
  
  Monstrum was interested in the fight and watched in scrutinizing silence, solely because Xolotl had expressed her interest being taught by the wolfish Gladiator. Those seemingly sightless eyes watched as the fighters continued to dance around one another, each strike seemingly heavy when one landed. There was no outward reaction from Grimm, who had committed himself to lounging back against the stone steps, his form large enough that he was able to rest his elbows against the level above, his arms hanging idle, and once Xolotl announced her yield he would shift his weight forward, towards the bars. "It seems our underdog has come out on top for this round." As for the Primordial, she might not have won but she had certainly proven both her potential and her strength by nearly taking her opponent down in two hits. No doubt she would hear from the Gladiator soon enough, once her current injuries were healed.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov retrieved his blade swiftly, not wanting to do any more damage than needed to keep the female down. Quickly when he noticed that the match was over, he'd back away from the premordial, retrieving his blades and placing them away. His heart was beating very fast, the adrenaline numbing his blood dripping middle part. His body was shaking, not fully understanding what had happened. But slowly he started to realize that he wasn't the one passed out on the sands or throwing in the towel. No, he was still standing. Surprised, but actually standing. A little spike of pain and panic hit him like a lightning when Xolotl seemed to go down. He'd move towards her, but due to some pain starting to incerease he'd not try to carry the woman, just give her a little support to not get sand on her wounds. He'd wait for X to be taken care of first, because surprisingly, he was still standing. Hopefully the primordial would still remember that little smile and not hold a grudge.
  
  Nayara was watching the fight with the deep interest she watches in every fight. Specially considering her former mistress' slave was on it and she can't help but wonder how proud the vikingr would be as soon she knows Toffi won the fight. The neko stood up and applauded both fighters but it's true those claps were directioned more towards the pink canid. "Congratulations, Toffi! I knew you would win!" now if she haven't lost her own platinum coins to bet on him...
  
  Pauper's only response at the victor was to rise, stamping a foot sharply, twice, and bellowing, "Krieg Hund!" Small smile grew to a reasonable grin, however, when his winnings were delivered to him! A rather fat pouch, "He is no underdog, I think." He'd murmur to Nayara as he stepped closer to the bronze woman, delicately juggling the pouch from hand to hand.
  
  Nayara: "Not at all", the neko would answer to Pauper. "He trained a lot for this tournament. And I'm sure a hard earned victory like this will raise his morals a lot. Now if you excuse me, lemme check on my bossess' slave." and with that Nayara would head out of the arena, hoping to return in this place for her own fight later. [exit]

  Monstrum was more than thankful to be returned to his original body since the fae had died out in a fashion just as explosive and quick as they arrived. And so it was not a hulking, dark-furred wolf that took his place on the terraced steps but an average sized man, dressed in sharp monochrome of a white cotton shirt and black dress trousers and boots. He moved with easy indifference, with a rodent House Slave sitting beside him with a writing board, a scroll of parchment, a quill and ink to record the bets and ratios. "Good evening ladies and gentleman, and welcome back to the Slave Tournament. Tonight, we have Christofer Markov against Kozak. Markov is our Underdog with a betting ratio of six-to-one, and Kozak is our Steady with a ratio of four-to-one."
  
  Crowling arrived a good while before the announcement, sore, tired, but in a better mood. With her hair back to normal and the fairies gone, it meant less hectic magic-nonsense for a while. She made her way over to Monstrum, offering ten platinum to the Gladiator. "Ten on Christofer, thank you." The odds may not be in his favour, but he was still her slave. With that, Crow would return to her seat and dust off her pants.
  
  Kozak was as cool as cucumber as he prowled into the arena on meticulous, practiced steps. Within each of his hands was his beloved jawbone axes, Last Rites and Jaw Breaker, which were both his weapons of choice and his lucky charms. With no other weapons and no apparent armor, the somber bun would find his spot in the sand then momentarily took a glance across the crowd, before turning his attention back into the ring. Rolling his shoulders, he would flex until a series of crunching pops emitted from his twisted appendages and joints then relaxed, keeping himself poised and collected the jackalope's single quicksilver eye would settle upon the entrance patiently.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov spent all night looking after his Mistress in the infirmary, only ever leaving to inform her other half on her condition, before returning to her side, falling asleep in the infirmary and waking up occasionally to switch the water he had in a glass ready for her if she woke up. The whole day he had mostly spent looking after the viking, placing the Tournament as a second-hand subject to think about. He had not forgotten about it, no, but it was a bit on the lesser importance side when it came to choosing between the two options. Once things were set, the canid moved to the underhalls to collect his sharp pair of daggers, stretched his legs and arms, the whole back and rest of the body, before making his way to the arena. Stepping on the bloody sands that were stained yesterday, he'd take a deep breath to stabilize his thoughts, moving the negative ones aside. Christofer 'Toffi' Markov would win this fight for his Mistress, he'd win it no matter what and go right back to aiding her in her recovery and duties. It was set. He might have still been pink and fluffy, but he sure was determined. Only a light brief smile was given to the jackalope before the canid got ready and braised himself.
  
  Kozak wouldn't smile back, but he would give the boy a polite if not subtle nod of his horned head as a sign of stoic respect for his current opponent. Twirling Jaw Breaker around in a deft expression of dexterity, the lapine cossack would slowly approach his foe with carefully placed steps instead of simply lunging at him - one ax was drawn across the top of his torso, covering across one side of his face and collarbone, the other curved low across his abdomen and hips in the opposite direction. He would circle around Toffi, quietly attempting to push him into the center of the fighting ring before he decided to strike; like a viper Kozak would snap out with one appendage thrown straight, aiming to crack the long teeth of his jaw bone ax across the inside section of the canine's leading knee.
  
  Monstrum offered Crowling a nod when she approached with her bet, directing his attention towards the slave girl beside him, who hastily began to scribble down the name of the Handler, the bet amount and who it was on as the coin exchanged hands. Grimm did not know either of the fighters all that well and so he had no clear, defined favorite amongst them, or whether he had bet on any of them at all. Never the less he watched with neutral scrutiny, observing quietly while keeping his peripheral gaze open to any more who might approach to place a bet, or call one out as the fight began.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov kept his eyes tightly focused on Kozak, not letting him out of his sight, but he'd also try to perceive his energy. He'd have to stay calm. When the male finally made his move, Christofer falsely counted the length of that weapon -probably because he had two and he wasn't quite sure which one the other one was going to go for, but even if hit and some blood started to form on that area, it wouldn't slow him down from his main asset. He'd start his own assault with a slash right against the man's stomach. It was exposed already, so it was almost inviting someone to place a nice deep cut right there. Swifts strides would carry him away afterwards, making some space in between the two contestants.
  
  Kozak may have had an exposed chest, but Toffi was going to have to catch him first! The jackalope bounced out of the way of his attack, leaving him to slice at nothing and leaving himself open for another assault. Bounding forward, the somber bun would swing one jawbone ax around in a rough cycle aimed to bury it's teeth into Toffi's flank, then following immediately after it's twin would seek to puncture into his opposing side in a strike that would hopefully blindside his opponent.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov missed his strike, wrinkling his face at the false strike he gritted his teeth. He couldn't afford to lose. Stay calm, stay determined. The battle wasn't by no means over. He'd suffer another bad hit from the other male, right onto his back. Vince was visible on his face as he attempted to hold the pain on his inside, keeping it to himself. He'd abuse the other's strength, using the force of the hit to get distance from the other man to dodge the upcoming attack. With a shift of his feet, he'd make a distracting move before quickly approaching his opponent again. Lashing his dagger right at the other man's chest, swiftly pushing himself away after and going for the thrown dagger right at the middle sectionas well. He'd make the other man feel pain. [Double]
  
  Kozak found Toffi's strike hitting his chest, carving the flesh though it would be considerably shallow and did little to slow down the Russian freight train. In another display of his considerable speed, Kozak would evade the second strike aimed for his torso, then attempting to manipulate the situation to his advance he would also aim his next strike for the boy's trunk, using the massive eye tooth of the jawbone ax he would attempt to carve it straight down the center of his chest from collarbone to pelvis.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was not feeling good with that other dagger of his missing, but he'd find positivity out of it: it was easier for him to retrieve now. He quickly dug out of his way, taking a leap right past the jackalope and making a somersault on the ground, retrieving his own blade at the same roll of moves. Quickly, he bounced back up just as the darker male's back was exposed, striking sharply at the lower back part of the bunny man with the sharp dagger.
  
  Kozak bounded away from Toffi before he could sink his dagger into his back, once more slipping by without receiving damage like the dark sylph that he was. Quickly twisting Kozak would be facing toward his opponent, and in the same gesture of movements he would aim both of his bone axes into the dog's upper bicep, hoping to collide his weapon against him with enough strength to force him into disarming him of his weapons.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov squinted his eyes ever so slightly. what was this man? No time to ask questions, he'd keep on carrying the fight, not staying idle and letting the sand barely feel his bare feet on it with each step and stride he took. He'd keep up with his movement, not willing to leave himself open at the man that was seemingly not being nice to him at all. He'd have the feelings of certain things, but he'd shove the thoughts aside. He had to win this. The canid was still determined on his promises on doing good and giving the ones that watched an enjoyable match to look at. When Kozak struck at him again, the canid made another quick dive to succesfully dodge both of the upcoming weapons while he'd slide right past the man, holding one of his daggers out to cut at the man's guts as he slided past him and got up to continue his run after a somersault.
  
  Kozak would leap back, though he was a mere millisecond too late and Toffi's dagger would give his stomach a little cat scratch across it's length - definitely nothing major, he'd barely even felt it. His movements were growing more rapid the more the fight continued, and now the jackalope would dart across to the canine's side with very little consideration as he displayed at the beginning of the fight, this time he brought his bone axes around to sweep beneath the boy, aiming to take his weight out from under him whilst also damaging his hamstrings in the process.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was glad upon landing a hit. No matter what kind of a hit it was, it was still a hit and he'd make Kozak feel every single one of them. He'd cover the man in papercut like wounds or slice his stomach right open if that's what it took for him to please the onlookers and those that believed in him. There was no holding back. So thought Kozak. The canid wasn't expecting the man to go and take himself that low. Eyes widened for the moment that he saw the other man coming. His option to dodge was leaping over the other man, but as he was doing that, he was hit, right on the spot that the jackalope had targetted. Unfortuntely, such hit ripped a nasty wound across his leg and as he lost his focus, the canid couldn't dig his blades onto Kozak's back like he had planned to, instead hitting the ground with one of his own blades pressing right into his chest, making a nasty red splatter right onto the arena ground. Coughing blood, he'd attempt to get up with the blade still on him. No hope...
  
  Kozak had no intended for the boy to slip and fall on his own dagger, that was merely incredibly back luck on his behalf. The azure and somber jackalope did attempt to help the canine to his feet if he wasn't capable, and get him to the medics as soon as was humanly possible. Other than that, Kozak would leave the arena with no goading or show boating, taking the humble route with his victory and movement into the final rounds of the tournament.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov just laid down with some familiar blood somewhere under him. Breath was very shaky due to his chest having been pierced by that dagger of his. An amateur mistake... Well... He was an amateur, probably... He felt bad, having disappointed those that had faith in him. His arms bent slightly to attempt on getting up again, elbows dug to the red sand underneath him, pushing him at least a little bit upwards. Head was hung low as he tried to keep conscious, hopefully directing a bit more of his blood into that area so that he'd have some action going on in there. He'd try pushing himself up even with all the shame he was feeling. Breathing was painful and stung just like the blade. He couldn't feel his other leg, torn in some not so nice to look at form. His other one was growing slightly numb too, but he'd try moving out. His speech was mostly air, words not being formed properly. "I hope people..... still got something...... out of it...."

  Remei Aoki knew exactly whom she was facing today, her friend Toffi. It had been something the strange little blonde haired female had been looking forward to for a few days now, and Rem would take care to be at her best for him! Clad in her glistening silver armor and tattered cerulean mantle, Rem stepped out from the Arena's gates to the cheer of the crowd, the crashing of ocean waves, and the golden rays of the sunlight blaring down from brilliant blue sky. A smirk crossed Remei's face as she stepped out into the open arena and slowly drew her gladius, giving a spin in her fingertips as she stopped, turned to face the arena's gates and waited for her friend to enter the battleground with a smile; breeze catching her hair and mantle.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov made his way through the underground, picking up the same pair of daggers he had used in the tournament. They had proven to be sharp enough to do quite a bit of damage when he had got a hit in, so he would hope that he'd score something similar here today. Once he stepped on the arena itself he'd be slightly reluctant. He had mixed feelings of the match: on one hand he was glad that his note had been replied to and that Remei had indeed shown up, but on the other he wasn't exactly sure if he wanted to stab her. It was still a somewhat arranged fight and he had told people that he would be taking on the 'human' sooner or later. He'd recognize the person waiting for him, taking a breath as he settled. "Good luck, and I appologize before hand for cutting you." At least that's what he had planned. He'd hope to settle some things with this little 'show'.
  
  Remei Aoki smiled as Toffi stepped into view, mismatched eyes focusing on the daggers he seemed to hold in his hands half-heartedly. "Take me seriously, Toffi. Strike with all your might." Rem would reassure her friend, who seemed a little timid as he entered the battlefield. It was a little funny to Rem, hadn't he been the one to send Rem a note asking for this fight? "Good luck to you to0." Rem smiled giving toffi a moment to get ready before the 'human' would dart forward, armor glittering under the sun's influence as Rem wound up her gladius and attempted to step in and deliver a horizontal slash for Toffi's Torso-- the attack meant to test his speed and not leave Rem open for too long if her slice went sailing.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was quick to react to Remei's movement, but she had gained that slight advantage of taking the first step and making the first move and so the canid was at a disadvantage. The gladius was swung and as he dove down it cut a nice deep mark into his back, spilling some blood at its wake. But he shouldn't let that bother him, teeth pressed against each other and face wrinkled, it was a bad hit to take in the beginning but he'd survive. The canid continued with the dive and he'd target a cutting strike at her legs, hoping to gain some speed advantage. Any spot worked for him. He'd have to try and cut deep to get some sort of effect out of it, had to forget that he had even met her so that he'd not feel remorse on harming her. It was the arena, not the place for regrets.
  
  Remei Aoki's weapon cut into Toffi deeply and Rem was honestly a little surprised by that, not putting that much oomph into her attack--. Rem grimaced slightly and felt her will to fight wane a little bit. "Hey... Are you oka--" the blonde woman would start to ask her friend with a little concern, only to feel her leg take a healthy knicking from his knives. Dammit, one of his blades managed to get through the plating... Remei groaned mentally as she felt the sting and swelling of blood as it began to run down the back of her calf. It wasn't a deathblow, but it DID sting something fierce. "I deserved that.." Remei said as she pushed forward and attempted to jump up and bring an overhanded slash over Toffi's noggin' with the flat edge of her gladius.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov recovered after the little diving trick. Pouncing back up swiftly and keeping up with the movement was important. Why else would he have cut Remei's leg if he didn't have plans on keeping up with his own speed and making it count. Seemingly it wasn't enough to slow the woman down as she was already back at it, fitting him in the head with her weapon. Eyes would be closed as the hit came. It wasn't quite enough to make him see stars, the cut on his back hurt more, but he should be thinking any less of her other hit either. Swiftly he'd attempt to cut Remei's hand and make her lose her grip of that weapon of hers, afterwards using the strength of the blow to gain distance to her. "You yourself said to not feel remorse, so keep it that way." And just to remind her of not going soft on him, he'd throw one of his daggers right at her chest if she had turned. [ Disarm, Double ]
  
  Remei Aoki managed to bonk Toffi pretty good with the blade edge of her blade only to see him grit his teeth through the pain and attempt to slash at her sword weilding hand-- which quickly retreated back behind her causing Toffi's attack to miss and leaving Remei facing Toffi with her weaponless left side. "Fine. If that's how you want it." The 'human' uttered with the smallest frown forming on her brow now as she stepped forward only to be stuck in the shoulder by one of toffi's blades. Luckily Remei's armor was thick enough to stop it short of anything really vital, providing nothing more than a prick as Rem would reach up and remove it from her shining platea and frown. "I didn't like that." the sword-bearing woman called just before a flash of white light would rip towards Toffi's wrists, Rem having whipped her gladius's glimmering edge in terrifying fashion for Toffi's wrists in an attempt to force him to drop his hands, and blades, to the ground. [Disarm attempt]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov wasn't happy with missing the close range strike, she had been prepared for it, but not the throw. He had taken a bit too many risks with her so far though. Letting her get close was not a good idea, at all. Sadly it seemed to be so even outside of the arena, but this here and now was supposed to settle it. If he'd win, maybe they could have a little talk afterwards? Maybe... Hopefully... The thoughts were shaken off his head as she came at him again and he readied his feet to dodge her. And so he would be sprung up by the strength put onto his feet, letting Remei's blade enjoy a bit more of the free swinging of air. He wasn't going to be hit again by her. Quickly, he'd land and duck down to retrieve his other blade, directing a strike right at the back of Remei's feet, hopefully cutting deep right bellow the back of her knee.
  
  Remei Aoki's blade cut nothing but air, the human a little surprised that this attack with some actual effort failed to draw blood or put an end to this fight. It would take the human a second to return to a neutral state, allowing Toffi to drop down and grab his thrown dagger and drive a blade into the back of Remei's calf and knee with great success. Rem groaned and stumbled forward, taking a single step on her good leg then ending up kneeling due to her bad one-- polished silver flashing as Rem grimaced from the hot, pulsing, ripping sensation of blood and flesh being torn from it's rightful place. That one hurt. Rem forced herself up with a grit of her teeth and drew her gladius between herself and Toffi with a huff, really having to focus on moving carefully, but would have to manage. Without any warning, Rem would charge forward, gladius extended to her right side, before suddenly closing the distance, suddenly drawing a large J- shaped cut for Toffi's chest. Remei Aoki would then turn the blade over at the top of her first slash and attempt to finish the job with another cresent shaped cut aimed for his torso once more-- blade cutting a quick ribbon pattern into the air, leaving a flash of light in it's wake. Hopefully Rem managed to connect here, because if Rem wiffed this she would be wide open. [Double]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov kicked himself away from Remei after his strike, not wanting to be kicked after the successful blow. He knew that the woman would be coming after him now, be it a little delayed or not. The light reflecting onto the sand would be a good indicator for him to tell that the blade was coming. Yep, he had suspected this, and with a little aid of the shadow, he'd know from which direction it was coming and could dodge accordingly, letting his slim body aid him with the effort. What he had not suspected was that Remei would be trying to return another strike so soon after the other. Hadn't he crippled her enough? Seemingly not as the blade hit him right near the other cut from earlier. Again he'd vince, bite his teeth and try to manage, but his body stopped once his side had caught him on the sand. He'd try getting up, he still had some fighting spirit in him and he'd go in for another strike right at her back - but he couldn't move. Blankly he was just laying there on the ground, bleeding from both of the wounds on his middle body. He was stuck. Teeth were still tightly pressed against each other, so no words would be spoken, but the daggers were dropped to show that he 'yielded'. He couldn't do anything else with a body that refused to move.
  
  Remei Aoki's first attack went sailing, into the air, likely drawing Toffi's attention, or making him think it was over, but unfortunately (for him) he'd found that her attack wasn't done and Rem's blade would drop him to the ground at her feet. For a moment, the 'human' would wait for Toffi to rise, prepared to move once more should he attack wildly, but would slowly stand up straight when her friend dropped his knives. Rem would take a deep breath and let it out in a huff as she shook her gladius to the side to drop toffi's blood, spun the blade in her fingertips and slipped it back into place in it's hilt on the small of her back. "You did well, toffi. Nice fight." Remei said as she took a step back as arena slaves opened the gate and rushed to Toffi and Rem's aid. The blonde would refuse, instead electing to follow her friend in once he'd been taken to the infirmary.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was more confused than anything. Why would his body refuse now? In this fight to say the least. He wanted to continue, wanted to settle this. So why did it refuse? He was told that if he wanted to win badly enough it would come to him. He did want to win, he wanted to settle this. So Why was he laying on the ground, immobile then? That's not how it works.... He would barely notice the aid coming, he wasn't in a 'dire' need of it. Sure he was bleeding from all over his back and side but that really didn't feel as overwhelming to him... All the aid would need to do was to just go and get him up, he'd be capable of walking out on his own after the daggers had been picked up, but other than that his thoughts were lost...

  Aster Fulman was rather glad when he stepped into the arena. Healed up nice from his fight with campy days ago, he streched a bit as he waited for his opponent. The short statured hybrid wore only a blue tunic with black pants and leather shoes. It was hard to tell that the boy was in fact a patron with a good amount of funds to his name. His claws had been sharpened for this, and his excitement bubbled obviously in his features.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had been invited to the arena by one of the newest patrons. They were quite a cheery person, and they had that nice positive charm to them. Really, even if he had gotten to talk to a few other patrons that were all new to him lately, he had to admit that Aster held a different attitude towards things all together. He'd hope to not harm the boy too severely, but the canid was also seeking to impress of course. With his pair of daggers, the German would be making his way to the arena. And to be honest, he was rather surprised to see that the hybrid did not have a weapon on himself. Uhh.. Ok then... "Good luck~" He'd shake off the thought of it and focus on the fight. Nayara had gone against him with no weapons, and so had Kess, both were equally scary, so he'd not take Aster lightly just because of the lack of weapons.
  
  Aster Fulman rather seemed to smirk. "Coudl say the same to you as well!" He said, and watched him for a few moments, almost like he was thinking of what he was going to do. "Hope your blood's as sweet as you look Toffi~" He practially cooed, a playful tone, before he would run for the German male, those claws seeking to slash right across his chest.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov got ready and prepared. The comment on blood and others got him to step back lightly though, distracting him and causing his ears to fall backwards. Right. Right. This boy was a vampire, of course... The distraction was enough for Aster to get close enough to the canid to actually be able to touch him, but there wasn't really any damage done, barely only that little touch. Good enough, wouldn't get the patron depressed. But this is where he'd lay down the kindness as he took a tighter hold of his daggers, slashing at the hand that had reached him and attempting to cut it while it was still there.
  
  Aster Fulman gave a snarl as Toffi got him good cross the back of the hand when he pulled it back. "ooh you DO have some fight Toffi! Good~" He said with an honest to god giggle. He moved to use his speed to get around him, trying to dizzy him a bit by moving in circles, before he launched himself to bite right at the other's neck, while claws aimed to sink into the other side of his head. [Double]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had to feel a bit sorry for having cut the boy's hand, but he did not want others to really get a hit on him or touch him on the arena. Apologies would come later, for now he'd be focusing on the fight itself. The giggle was throwing him off again. How was he supposed to hit someone like this? Well, that was a matter for another day, for now he'd make sure that the boy did not hit him. The plan on dizzying him was, unfortunately for Aster, not working all that well as the German would be just that one step further, protecting his neck as an instinct whenever the boy might have gotten out of his reach. Ducking down was seemingly the right option when the smaller boy seemed to flung themselves right past him. He had to give it to the boy, but he'd not let him just keep attacking him. If he was going to try being speedy, Christofer would have to slow him down. On the last jump over him, Toffi would attempt to grab Aster and make a cut in his leg
  
  Aster Fulman had sadly seen that comming when he missed the first time and rolled out of the way. "ah ah ahh~" He said, knowing damn good and well this sort of attitude threw the other at least somewhat, given how he acted in their interactions in the atrium. He licked his claws before launching himself into Toffi's chest, aiming to run him right through with those claws of his!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov shouldn't have been giving the boy so much credit. He missed the grab on the leg and the smaller being escaped from him. And he seemed to be getting a bit bigger of a grasp on things too, being ever so slightly smaller and getting to close range. The canid didn't have enough time to block the upcoming attack, having some of his fur being clawed off and leaving a nasty scratch on that particular area. He'd go for a retaliating attempt, blocking the other hand from reaching him with his elbow and attempting to slash at that caught hand with his dagger as he pushed Aster away from himself, trying to stop at least the other hand from doing damage to him.
  
  Aster Fulman danced right away from the German's blows and came to kick him right in the ribs in form of rebuttal. Aster was excited and controlling his bloodlust was getting harder to do as his excitement grew. His eyes seemed to sparkle with excitement as he continued to fight the other.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had to start taking this more seriously. No more games. He'd jump back at the incoming leg that was trying to hit his side, dodging it and leaving the other a little open for follow up attacks. Aster may not have had any weapons on him, but the canid had figured that damaging his arms would still prove helpful, allowing him to lessen the chances of being grabbed or clawed at. Because one thing he didn't want to do was to get caught and hit, one way or another. It just never ended well. So the canid would make a slash towards the still healthy hand, his next move then was to get himself some room, some distance from the other male, and as usual, chuck a dagger flying right after the other boy, hopefully at his feet as he seemed to have trouble hitting those in close range. [Double]
  
  Aster Fulman didn't react much to the blow to his hand, the cut was barely there at all, but the throwing of the dagger, he expected it to be aimed for his heart or head, and thus ducked, but instead He had thrown it at his feet, and sank home nice and deep. He snarled in pain as he pulled out the damn dagger, but launched himself forward with a snarl. Aiming to sink those teeth right into his side and rip out a good chunk of meat.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had gotten his distance at the cost of temporarily losing his other dagger. It was worth it, he'd manage to defend himself with just one and he'd be able to retrieve the other one in no time. He'd have to get past Aster first, which seemingly wasn't going to be easy. The hybrid lunged right at him and toppled him over causing him to wince and bare his own set of fangs as the impact onto the ground didn't feel nice. A swift slash of his dagger was directed yet again at Aster's arms though, hoping to keep the other person at bay with directing more pain towards him.
  
  Aster Fulman was not happy.. but he managed to dodge that slash of his. His next aim was to keep Toffi away from his other dagger, and get his last away from him. He had been surprised in his last match by Campy's god forsaken meat hook, so he'd be damned if he was going to let Toffi surprise him now! He aimed to grab that hand and break it if he could. Bone's heal afterall~
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov would have to forget about those arms, he couldn't find a chance to get a good hit in onto them. He wasn't going to allow the kid to get the better of him either, kicking the smaller being off of him before they could grab his arm. He gave the hybrid an extra push away with his own tail, attempting to get the other one off balance so that he'd be able to retrieve his missing blade and direct a strike right at the wounded leg, trying to make the wound more severe.
  
  Aster Fulman merely grabbed that damned tail as he tried to bring him closer to prevent him from grabbing his dagger, and a quick dance of footwork had him avoiding his attempt at a blow. No words were spoken now, merely gutteral growls and snarls. The boy had given into his bloodlust for sure, and was going all out to win his fight. He aimed to bring Toffi close to him, and sink those fangs into his neck.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov gave a snarl at his missed attempt, but at least he had both of his blades back and Aster couldn't do anything to make him part of the again unless he himself wanted to. Both of them seemed to be in a little less friendly terms now, and the German was not happy with the bite on his neck, howling lightly at it but striking to jab his dagger right at the opposing neck in revenge. He wasn't going to let this kid win like that.
  
  Aster Fulman felt the blade sink into his neck nice and deep and growled, those eyes of his tinted a nice bloody red as he looked at him. "Delicious~" He almost purred suddenly, and tried to sink his fangs right back into the same damn wound to get more of that lovely red blood that flowed from his last wound.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was starting to show that other side of his as well. The determination to win was hitting and making its way onto the surface. One more good strike and the hybrid was done. Christofer used his legs to push the upcoming strike away from him by pushing the boy as a whole away from himself, aiming to cut some part of his limbs as they were being thrown away. He'd snarl at them, keeping them at bay as he moved on the sandy field.
  
  Aster Fulman gave a pained cry as he fell.. It looked like he was going to keep on, but nope.. one step and he fell, his eyes closing as he passed out, too much bloodloss and pain had taken it out of the young vampire.. But he wouldn't hate the other, it had been such a good fight~
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov would almost snarl at the other one, still attempting to go after him, but his expression wold lighten up and switch to a bit more worried one rather than an agressive one. A sigh of relief was made on the attacks finally stopping, he was worried of that bite on his neck that the vampire had managed to get in, but he'd get that checked. The patron however didn't seem too able to make it out on his own, sad sight, passed out on the floor. The canid sheated his blades, he'd clean them later, but for now he'd help carrying the boy to the infirmary, not feeling too held down by his own wounds other than the neck.

  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was on a little brighter mood than earlier that day. He hadn't had much going for him during the day, so he was more than glad to notice the neko at the atrium, greeting her with a wag of his tail. He felt like he needed the arena in a way, felt sluggish. The little break from the arena had done him good but it also had made him a little stiff. He couldn't walk around as much anymore. No daily jogs, no usual serving at the halls, nothing. It was all just sitting in the cage day after another unless he was lucky. He needed some activity, and going against Nayara 'soft' wasn't going to do him any good. Still, he was hoping to give her a bit more challenging fight this time. "Good luck, Nayara~" No titles as the woman didn't like them, but it was always good to be polite, even with daggers in arms.
  
  Nayara was waiting for Toffi to come in the arena, wearing just enough to cover her feminine traits, along with some leather bracers, Nayara looked at the Canine with a pleasant but feral smirk. She wanted to give Toffi a chance to prove his valor in the arena just as the neko had proven and for that, the neko isn't going to be kind for him this time. And she makes it clear as she speaks "Toffi, don't hesitate to draw blood from me because I'm fully willing to do it, okay?" Trying to intimidate him? Nope. Just being honest and showing him the ultimate form of respect a fighter can do to the other. "I wish you good luck and good fight. And one last advice: don't fight thinking about victory...", and once she says this, the neko raises her damascus sword and circles around him eyeing the canid carefully.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov did plan on giving her a good fight, so shying out was listed out. One couldn't tell the outcome right away, but he felt like he had to put a bit more effort than usual - if he could. The canid was always trying his best, even if he now didn't exactly have anyone specific to fight for. It was going to be a bit different. So different. With the neko now too having a weapon other than her fists. But who knows, that could benefit him in the strangest ways. Taking a stance, he'd pull himself back a bit, leaning on one direction and bending his legs. Nayara needed no warnings. He'd leap, targeting his dagger's blade onto the side of the neko, looking to strike the largest and least moving area. He did still remember the advice on hitting her legs, and other limbs, but this was his fight now and he'd want to play it safe.
  
  Nayara kept staring the canid as she carefully circles around him. She was looking forward to see what Toffi could do now that he have more stamina and speed than before. As the canid leap towards her ,trying to slice his dagger around her bare side, the neko quickly side stepped away from his attack and spins around as she tries to SLASH her sword aimed at his exposed side of his TORSO before she steps back assuming her fighting stance again regardless of hitting him or not.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov could have predicted the neko seeing through his attempt. This is how he started some of his fights afterall, just going in quickly and trying to manage some damage. Well, he'd need to make use of his miss, hopefully getting behind her back and avoiding the counterattack that was undoubtedly coming for him. Well, even if he might have had more speed the neko now had more reach than before, managing to get a good cut on his side and the canid would wince, though land on all four of his and gather himself up quickly, hoping that she wasn't planning on striking him while he was down. The strike to his side had caused the end of the leap to be bent a little bit, so he should have a higher chance on striking her backside if he was quick. Making another quick strike at her, he'd attempt on cutting her back before Nayara could turn to face him.
  
  Nayara could feel something pointed dragging along her exposed back before she turned around to face him. She winced at the pain of his dagger slashing her body but that's all. She assumed her stance regadless of that, giving the Canid a nod in approval at the damage done to her before she immediately stepped towards him, with her sword held horizontally to keep Toffi guessing here she would attack, untill in the very last moment, the neko thrusts her SWORD down aimed at one of Toffi's THIGHS.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov let the blade cut through the neko's back, leaping off once he was at the end of it. Nayara was quick to follow up again, seemingly having gained some speed herself, the neko would manage another cut, this one right bellow his pants and above those high socks. No clothing damage, and the strike wasn't the worst he had been hit with, so it was manageable and he'd be able to land with a somersault and get up again. Getting out of her reach was still important, and quickly he'd attempt a swift U-turn in his movement, letting the sand be pushed as if he was still moving in that direction, but he had turned. The canid made his way towards the bigger creature's back for another strike, jabbing one of the daggers onto her back. Not both, if one were to get stuck deep he'd just have to abandon it and make a run for it and come for it the next turn. He knew that getting hit by the neko was anything but nice.
  
  Nayara , under that ferocious expression on her face, smirks mentally as Toffi managed to avoid a more serious damage on his thigh. He's starting to give her a good workout so far. But still she's more experienced than him and as he tries to turn around her and stab his dagger on her back again, Nayara followed his movements and her free hand would grab the canid's wrist and hoist it up. "Trying to strike my back again just like that? Could you be a bit more unpredictable?!" she yells at him as she tries to bash her KNEE roughly on his exposed RIBS. Regardless of managing to do it or not, she would shove him before she tries to swing her SWORD firmly hoping to slice one of his BICEPS finishing her DOUBLE attack.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was predictable. Floof. Was sitting in the cage really affecting him this much? Hopefully not, he wanted to do good, doing worse was certainly not going to assure the feline that he had gotten better - which he did hope for. Having had all day to just think and ponder all sorts of thoughts, his quick thinking was at a bit of a loss currently. He'd have to think of something else, but getting distracted wouldn't do him any good. So far it seemed that the only one improving was the neko, although he could pull his arm back and retrieve it before she could grab him, that also meant that his attempt of striking her was nulled. The knee was dodged with the aid of motion he used for having pulled his arm away, but the sword would again give the neko an advantage of length and another line of red was scored. He really didn't see the improvement on himself. It annoyed him. With a wince of the blade having cut him, he'd be having his fangs exposed for a bit, not quite feral, but with no other plans he'd attempt either striking a bite or a dagger onto Nayara's neck. Mean? Yes, but hopefully not as predictable. With a turn and another, he'd go for one more strike towards her side before trying to get some distance, clutching the handle of his dagger with the previously blade cut palm, attempting to at least scratch her if nothing more. Any hit on the neko would be appreciated. If this wouldn't work, he'd have to think of something else. [Double]
  
  Nayara was going to give him a rough lesson about being predictable but the canid was either skilled or lucky to avoid her knee strike or at least give him a severe cut on his bicep. Nayara notices him baring his fangs and she got a feeling what his next move could be. As Toffi lunged trying to give that neck bite, Naya managed to hold jaw with a painfull iron grip before she shoves him away. But he managed to slice his dagger again on her side making the neko hiss feraly at him before she tries to slash her sword on his legs wanting to give him a taste of Maewood's teachings to cripple someone in a good sword fight.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was no feral, one could not mix him with one, but he was starting to have some urges to snarl at the other fighter. This definitely wasn't his day, but there was still a chance for him to turn it around. He had gotten something out of being under the ownership of the viking, knowing to pay attention to that specific part of his body. The canid used his smaller size in advantage, managing to avoid the blade coming for him and attempting to strike right back when the attacking arm was extended. He'd go for the arm, but predicting that Nayara was just going to attempt grabbing him again, he gave an extra push to strike the area over the chest instead. No jabbing this time, he needed that distance.
  
  Nayara missed his legs this time... And while she don't knows about his thoughts, the neko thinks he improved a lot since their last fight. Something she would talk with him once this fight is over... as Naya missed her target, Toffi managed to slice the upper side of her chest but thankfully she twisted her torso to the side to lessen the damage done at the cost of slicing one of her top strings but this is the least of her worries. The neko would try to keep her pressure on him, noticing he wanted some distance from her and she lunges at the canid again, trying to SLASH her sword on his CHEST as a payback for what he did just now.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had his middle part damaged the most, but so had his opponent. At this point he would finally allow himself to snarl, the neko was hissing too so it was only fair he let out some steam in a similar way. That was probably all he could do on the side of mimicking her though, for even with bladed weapons, their strengths were focused on different areas. Hers was actual good strength, his was speed which he was finally starting to show. His legs had awoken, sitting around all day had made them stiff but running and jumping did wonders. Smaller size was an advantage here too, provided he react quick enough to avoid her strikes. A quick turn sent the sand ahead of him again as his feet switched places and took a step to the side, letting the sword slice right past him. Her side was open again, but my now she'd know to cover her chest, so he couldn't attempt to jump her again. Playing it safe, he'd rather go and run past her, extending one of his arms to let a dagger cut her just a little above the hips. The legs would be moving to dodge him, but the larger area wasn't as fast to be retrieved.
  
  Nayara is FAR from worried in get topless in a fight. This care about her exposure in a fight certainly would lead to a crushing defeat unless if the opponent allows her to tie the top back around her breasts. As the neko slash hit nothing but air, Toffi managed to leave another nice cut on her waist as he ran past her. He went for the hit and run tactic for this fight making good use of his speed. He had improved. While the neko didn't showed him, remaining strong despite all the cuts she received, the neko was close to get defeated and once the cut was done, she would turn around and try to surprise him swinging her SWORD right on his HEAD! Despite how lethal it could be, in the last moment, Nayara turned the grip of her sword around so what could be a deadly cut on his head would be just a harsh 'bitch slap' with the sword's flat side.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov tightened his grip on the daggers in his arms, not wanting to lose them because of some dumb reason or because his head would be spinning. No, he'd gladly manage to keep his consciousness this time when the neko managed to hit him in the head. He had turned to check the distance between the two, only to receive a blade right on his cheek. Blunt or not, as it sliced its way through over his cheek the tip of the blade would leave a cut, making a thin line appear as he directed a glare at her but chose to not retaliate that instant. He'd use the fact that she was now armed to his advantage, letting her do the whole extended strike, making her body possibly lean after her weapon when the strike was done and he'd return to making his distance. He hadn't yet used one of the moves that had become somewhat of his signature way of striking once he got the distance he wanted. Fingers over the handle of his daggers would tighten, giving them a good squeeze. Then, the throw was made. Sending one of those blades of his he'd be targeting the exact middle spot, he'd hope to strike her like a dagger dug itself on the board and people had a special name for it. He'd, however, hope that the name of this one would be the end of the game.
  
  Nayara admired his resilience despite the rough slap on his cheek and she wonders if he's fighting the hardest battle he ever had so far. Both the canid and the neko were bloodied greatly in this fight and while the neko didn't wanted to admit for herself, she was becoming somewhat light headed with the blood loss... Toffi might be having the same issue as well. He thrown his dagger but it made nothing but poke at her exposed side befor falling in the sand obviously not keeping the neko from peform her next and maybe last attack as she let a savage yell and slashes her SWORD down on Toffi's other BICEP! Will the canid manage to avoid or at least endure the rough slash?
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was one armed now. With only one blade for himself to use, he would need to make it count. A hit was hit. Even if it had not finished the woman off, it did bring her closer to falling. The next proper hit could very well be the end of her and he'd deliver it. The lack of exercise was starting to take its toll on him causing for him to have a little blurred vision and the arena was shaking a bit around him. Gripping onto the one remaining blade was important now, he couldn't afford to lose it. Blurry vision or not, his ears were awake and the neko had made a mistake. Even if the figure was unclear, he'd know where it moved, taking a step his own size to the side as he took to dodge the upcoming strike, pointing his own remaining blade straight upwards. Maybe it could strike her on the abdomen, make her fall back and finally stop the assault.
  
  Nayara was feeling really tired by now... and despite missing her target again, Toffi on his turn didn't managed to stab her gut with that dagger... At this point luck would define the winner of this long fight not skill. Nayara was really happy in see Toffi putting a great fight against a more skilled fighter like herself. But the praise will have to wait for just a bit more... And as the neko side stepped away from his thrusting attack. she would try to swing her blade, aiming the FLAT SIDE of the SWORD again as she tries to slap it right on Toffi's MUZZLE!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had his blade miss. Well, good thing he wasn't on a dragon slaying quest, that would have been a bad miss strike. He wasn't sure where to strike the woman next. Unless he knew where she was moving, he wouldn't be sure where to strike, even with his usually good vision. Her limbs were moving somewhere now, head was a dangerous spot to hit and that wouldn't really end well. He'd make a side step as well, both fighters getting their distance again. Ultimately it wasn't quite enough though, allowing her to use her sword gave her just that little bit of advantage in length that the neko needed to hit the canid and sweep the walls with him. He wasn't sent flying, but the hit did push him back a good deal, most likely adding to the cut earlier. Eyes were closed due to the impact and he'd have to catch himself on the support of his arms to prevent meeting the ground. Dagger was struck down just to add to stopping himself. Christofer 'Toffi' Markov didn't pick it up though, having his head ringing after the strike. It was too risky. So all he could do was turn the blade to its side, and stay still, breathe to get some air and try to manage with the taste of blood. "That's game... I yield... No more cuts..." Not that he couldn't take any more, but the potential risk of the next attack going wrong was a bit too high. He'd play it smart and leave it...
  
  Nayara put all of her remaining strength in that sword slap and while Toffi tried to dodge it, she managed to hit him hard enough to send him stumbling against the arena walls. She stared at him, with a clearly tired expression on her face as she pants and get some gulps of air. Then as Toffi assumed that stance, STILL ON HIS FEET, and forfeited the fight, Nayara slowly smiled to him. Not because of her hard earned victory but proud about the effort he put on this fight. "Toffi, you don't have the slightest idea how much I feel HONORED by the effort you put in this battle." she then just throws her sword down, stabbing it deeply in the arena's sands. "It's not a matter of winning or losing. You improved A LOT since our last fight and you should be proud in put a hard fight against me." she then walks towards the canid and holds his head looking at his eyes before she kisses his forehead. "You fought bravely, Toffi. Keep that fire ignited inside of you and NEVER let it die.", she said firmly while the TGT Arena Staff comes towards them and would escort both fighters towards the infirmary.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had started a bit on the weak side, with his body slowly waking up he had managed to put up some effort, tipping the scales temporarily and raising up a bit to chase the leading position. Though, in the end it did come down to luck and that wasn't his strongest suite. Well, at least he could be proud for not passing out after fighting the Bronze Feline this time, even if it was yet again a hit to the head that cut and ended his chances. For his first fight while being unowned he wasn't exactly sure on how to take it yet. He had tried, and if nothing else, it was better than sitting in the cage all day. With a long sigh, he'd seek to retrieve the blades, getting up fully, slowly and using the little light and glimmer to find what he was looking for. Ear twitched at the sounds of speaking, air having refreshed his lungs he'd start to slowly feel better and words were clearer. "At least you didn't down me with two strikes this time." A small attempt at a joke was made. Was it two? Or was it tree? Shrug. Memories would replenish after they'd both get to sit down and catch their breath a bit. So to the infirmary it was and there they went~

  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had left the crowded untrained cage upon the arrival of his opponent. She had come at a very nice moment, preventing him from being squished under all the other slaves due to his smaller size. But no less, the canid had left to do his preparations rather eagerly. He had been waiting for this. As much as he was exited, he was also a bit unsure. The woman was fast, it both thrilled him as well as stressed him. But he had promised to be more confident. The dim reflection on the sharpened daggers would work as a small mirror for him to look at himself before the fight. He was thankful for the Avundi to tending his wounds before the fight. He wanted to give it his all. With a tight grip on the weapons, the canid took a breath to calm himself and headed out to the arena. He was ready. But what would the opponent be doing for their preparations..?
  
  Nayara stepped in the arena stands as soon she heard Toffi and Wulfila are going to fight... Now this is a fight she just NEED to see. In one side, there's Wulfila. A woman as fierce as the neko who's not only her friend but one of the most fierce rivals. In the other, Toffi. Someone the neko really admires and tries to help him on his fighting carrer. The neko liked both fighters but it was obvious for whom she's rooting for. "Toffi! Remember! Never waver! Never falter! And remain diehard!!!"
  
  Wulfila slunk onto the arena floor with a wary air, clutching her trademark longspear tightly and sussing out her opponent. She had no idea whatsoever what to expect from Toffi, and was planning on fighting cautiously. She looked half-feral as she entered, and eyed her opponent up scrutinizingly. Today she hadn't brought any javelins, but her seax knife was scabbarded on her kilt's belt. "Daggers, Christofer?" she said lowly, half to herself and half to Toffi. "I hope for your sake you're as fast as you claimed, because it's a brave or stupid fighter who brings daggers to a spear fight." She seemed unconscious of the crowd, focusing intently on watching Toffi's every single move with the patience of a predator. She wanted him to act first so she could see what he was capable of.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov gave a nod to Nayara's encouraging words before his opponent would be arriving. The neko had helped him quite a bit with the preparation, even allowing him to come watch the little combat she had with the vixen just a few days ago. It had been very helpful and words couldn't describe how much he appreciated it. But now wasn't the time to think of that. He had another person to focus on. The comment on his weapons didn't make him step back from his choices. He had his ways on dealing with distances, but that came later. "Good luck, Wulfila." No title as she had requested, and no falling back. The canid sized up her weapons, carefully took a little step to his right and hunched down. He did this very often, it was rather predictable. But the fox had not seen him fight, so it was all up to her wether or not she would react fast enough as Christofer jumped, holding the dagger forward in wishes to cut a nice wound all across Wulfila's anckle.
  
  
  Wulfila snarled in more surprise than pain as the dagger dealt a glancing blow against her. It was fortunate that she wore bear fur boots, as they were quite heavy and difficult to slash through with something as small as a dagger, so it hardly even drew blood, but she could certainly feel the wound. So he was fast. So far, he was the fastest opponent she had faced in this arena. Well, she would just have to be faster. He was right in her face at the moment, so she struck out at his temple with the butt of her spear before jumping backwards and away, attempting to keep him at reach.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov made a dive and took to the side after his strike, preparing to avoid the follow-up attack from the vixen. She had the advantage with distances though, and that stick of hers would be smacking him in the head, but even with the collision of his head and the spear, there was little wincing. He'd not let her take him out like that. Although he did feel the strike, having closed the eye on that side too, he wanted for the spear to stay there for a while longer. He held tightly onto his blades, making sure that they'd not be slipping out of his hands now. Because if he was trying to go through with his plan, he'd need to put in as much strength as he could. With a swift move, he'd attempt on taking a hold of the spear to keep the woman there as he took his dagger down to the arm of the vixen and was hoping to pull the weapon right out of her reach afterwards, attempting a disarming. [Disarm]
  
  Wulfila was so busy trying to twist and turn in the air to get out of Toffi's range that she got a dagger right to the arm. Swearing audibly in Gothic, the vixen felt her spear being wrenched out of her hands, and hesitated for a moment to look at the wound that had just been inflicted on her wrist. It had just barely missed the artery, luckily, but blood spurted freely. This was not going well for her. Well, now she didn't need to keep the slight male at range anymore, and suddenly dropped to the floor, kicking out at him with the intent of tripping the canid while simeoultaneously drawing her scramasax.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov wouldn't be regretting his choice. This was what he needed and he wasn't going to let Wulfila have any advantages on him. It was rather sad that when the canid was attempting a disarming, he would almost have to go for a literal disarming before he'd be able to get rid of the weapon of his opponent. Last time he had not had the power to muster such a strike, but this time was successful. Pulling the weapon away from the vixen, he'd attempt to throw it as far away from her as was possible. The more time it took for her to retrieve it the better. He'd move right after the thrown spear, jumping backwards to avoid Wulfila's legs. She wasn't going to hit him just like that anymore. The hit on his head was somewhat planned, the rest should never hit him. With a tightened grip on one of his daggers, Christofer took to aim a jab right through those boots of the vixen, hoping to nail her leg onto the ground.
  
  Wulfila had hesistated a millisecond too long staring at her bleeding arm, and thus did not have the reflexes to avoid Toffi's next strike. His dagger went through her heavy boot, and right into her leg, eliciting a strangled cry of pain from the barbarian. He was so fast! But then again, so was she. The scramasax, her handy long-handled knife, was already slashing wildly at the other canid, even while he attacked and injured her. She made a curt flick of the wrist and slashed at his chest and snout in an elegant and flourishing way. She was an expert with the spear, but if he wanted to provoke a knife fight, he would find she was no stranger to close quarters combat either. [double]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov sunk that dagger onto her leg with all of his weight. He might have been a little scrawny, but with all the hits he had been taking so far he knew that the arena was a serious place and that he truly needed to give his all here. And he was giving his all. He wouldn't dare soften up on Wulfila now, even if the vixen was cursing her whole known ring of upper beings that were supposed to look after her. This was reality on the arena. You either gave it your all, learned from your mistakes or you went home crying or passed out. With a jump backwards, he'd tug the blade away from Wulfila's leg and got himself some distance to get out of the reach of her blade in return. She had no chances hitting him there as he leaned backwards with that jump, kind of like a flip was made in the air as he took to dodge the strikes from her, throwing one of his daggers at her shoulder to give her something to do as he landed on his feet, making sure that he was ready for the next strike if she got up.
  
  Wulfila merely stepped to one side, watching the dagger sail through the air contemptuously, then turned her head back to glare at Toffi intensely from under her matted, black hair. Her lips parted in a mocking, sharp-toothed grin. "Throw your other one too," she suggested before springing towards him and seeking to plunge her knife right into his gut. She was quite hurt, and was getting more savage the longer this fight went on.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was starting to see some faltering from the vixen, she was starting to use words now. The German moved swiftly to get close to the female as she moved forward. It might have been a risky move, but he couldn't afford on losing both of his blades, no matter how she taunted him. He took the remaining blade in his hand in a steady grip, moving just barely to the side as Wulfila's blade came towards him. He'd dodge and attempt on cutting the now forward pointed arm right up as he took to ducking down in order to recover his lost blade back to his other hand before a somersault and a swift move to get right back up.
  
  Wulfila didn't even have time to check her lunge before Toffi's remaining weapon sliced down her entire arm. Blood splattered instantly and impressively, spraying out like her arm was a fountain and she could not help but stare at it, slightly confused. She dropped her seax knife on the ground with a clatter and found it was difficult for her to move her arm or fingers, which was a bad sign. "Okay, I yield," she said, her voice sounding far away in her head. She was losing a lot of blood very quickly, and was starting to feel dizzy. "You won, Christofer." She tried to look at him, but her vision was getting blurry, and she was having trouble keeping her eyes focused on anything. The barbarian began stumbling off unceremoniously towards the exit of the arena, leaving a sanguine trail of blood behind her. The princess was.... confused.
  
  Nayara is VERY proud about what Toffi just did and she thought in just jump down the arena sands before she notices how the Barbarian was starting to feel dazed due to the blood loss. With a frown, the neko looked at the incoming TGT Arena Staff and yelled at them. "Hey! On my tab give the barbarian and Toffi some magical healing. Specially to her!", she then looks at Toffi with a smirk. "Once I'm done with Kess, I want to have some words with you." it sounded menacing. But due to the circumstances, certainly is to congratulate him in person.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov stood back, hunching slightly over at her dropping the blade. For some reason he was expecting for her to suddenly lunge at him and use her fists instead. But no. She was... She was yielding? Her? Now he was unsure too, looking at her with suspect. But she wasn't moving. No lunging came. He could ease up ever so slightly. The fight was over. Having only gotten hit by that one strike of her spears butt end, he was in a rather good condition. The adrenaline and focus had helped him deal with the pain the hit had caused. It was the only hit he had planned on taking, and he had kept his words. He did not doubt Wulfila's strength. She was not a weakling like He used to be. But the battle is to the strong and he was the swifter today, stronger on that side. The daggers were placed away to his side as he took to follow up after the confused looking barbarian, taking her healthy hand in his usual soft hold. "Here, let me guide you..." He had been rather savage today, but under that was still the same boy that she knew was rather spooked at a thing or two. Head lifted to look at Nayara as they were leaving. "Take your time~ I'll be waiting." She got a little wag of his tail as he left the arena, aiding the barbarian to get to where she was to be fixed and patched up. [Exit]

  Adaliah Dhenuka entered the arena a bit hesitantly. She didn't adorn her usual attire but rather instead of the usual silk clothing she wore a set of trousers and plain shirt, allowing her movements to have more freedom, her white hair braided and pulled to the side as to not block her vision. She wore no armor, she was betting on her speed and strength to help her. She carried her scythe at her side, nearly twice her size, with a large dragon-shaped steel blade. Her steps were graceful and agile as she awaited her apponent to enter the arena, her icy blue gaze looking to the entrace.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov took his time resting and getting cleaned, one very strange night rent had left him in a halfly clouded state of mind. It was good if the canid could even think straight, but after that shower and some rest he did temporarily feel as good as new. Well, he'd have to be able to think fast and be at his best when at the arena. Always give your best, not any less. That is what he had been told and that's what he followed. It was the way of the arena. As he made his way through the underhall finally then, the boy took the usual daggers that he had used many times before, picking up the pair and making his way to the arena grounds where the other slave seemed to be at already. "Good luck, Ada, I apologize if I cut you too badly, but I'm not going soft on you." Even the lamb could bite and he'd ready his stance as he carefully watched what she was going to do...
  
  Adaliah Dhenuka smiled towards him playfully," I'm not worried if you cut me to deep lamb, I will heal, but I will not go easy on you." she said a playful tone to her voice. She stepped towards him carefully, watching him as she did so. She moved her scythe with her,before deciding where she wanted to land her hit. She soon lunged towards him, her scythe lifted high into the air,bringing it down withfull force behind her swing as she aimed to cut deep into the flesh above his ribs, quick, graceful movents and a wicked smile playin g on her lips
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov readied himself. The vampire had the advantage of weapon length, but he had dealt with a lance user before, so he'd deal with a scythe as well. Still, there was the length and as the canid took to dodge to the side the blade went on to rip off a part of his vest and scratch his side. The worst was avoided but some red could be seen on the surface. Nothing too bad though, wouldn't slow him down nor make him grimace just yet. With a sharp turn after the scythe had been swung, Christofer sought to approach Ada, from the side that was now open and sought to leave a cut right across her side as he sped past her and held his posture low.
  
  Adaliah Dhenuka gasped slightly as Christofer cut into her side, her gaze moving to him," N...Not bad," she said giving a slight grin, perhaps she underestimated him, but she wouldn't give up, she clenched her jaw, looking him over trying to spot an exposed area. She turned quickly spinning on her heels and swung her scythe down once again, seeking to tear into flesh, aiming it right at his shoulder hoping to hit her mark with force, enabling his use of that arm as she did. She quickly jumped back as she did trying not to leave herself too open as she did the first time.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had been trying to stay low, though even with that, she managed to smack him with her weapon. The strike was a little worse this time, but that one was nowhere near to make him try and stop still. No, he would endure this one, supporting himself with his hands and bouncing right back up after being hit. It wasn't going to keep him town, and he needed to act swift. He took and leaped after the girl, attempting a jab a dagger right at her back as she was retreating. Ahe had still left herself a little open while backing away.
  
  Adaliah Dhenuka hissed, barring her fangs towards him as he struck into her back with force enough to knock the wind out of her. Her eye widened as she dropped to her knees. Panting she glanced back to him, her smile never fading," Not bad," she mummered," Alright lamb you win this one, I yield to you I know when I've been beat." She glanced to him a playful look on her face," Maybe I underestimated you, it won't happen again."
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov jumped off her back after the strike, not wanting to stay too close as she still had her weapon. The canid might have wanted to attempt and disarm her next turn, but it seems like there is no need for that. He blinked, but kept his stance. Yielding already? Well, this was her first fight afterall, so maybe he should have gone a little easy on her... No. If he did he would go easy on the next one, so he wouldn't do that. Daggers were placed in one hand as he reached out to the vampire, who didn't seem too beat at the end? "Here, at least you got a taste. You should go get that cut looked at, I think it's pretty deep..." Suspecting by the amount of blood on the back, ground and his blade, that cut had been very nasty. Surprisingly, she had not screamed after the strike. She must have been though, but still, the canid would help her to the infirmary.

  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had stayed at the underhalls for a while, mostly just massaging his feet and legs since they had made a deal on not using weapons today. It was going to be strange, and the canid knew what a huge advantage this gave the neko, but he was playing by the mindset that a slave shall not refuse a request, no matter what. So he made his way to the arena, tail swaying behind himself as his steps were wobbly on the stairs, but he would manage. He hoped. With nothing but himself on the arena, no daggers, nothing to hold, the canid felt defenceless.. The sash on his waist he had wrapped around one of his tights instead, just to help it stay together and give it something else to think about while he waited for the neko.
  
  Nayara was dressed on her usual two piece exposing most of her muscular body to his opponent. Far from trying to seduce him or something like that. Naya eyed him with a sweet yet feral grin to him while she meets the canid in the center of the arena. "I would like to trade some stabs with you Toffi but seeing how you're doing, I decided to take easy on ourselves." although 'take easy' and Nayara are almost like water an oil. She never took easy on anyone and she don't expects to be taken easy by her opponents. The neko holds her fist up for Toffi to 'bump' it with his own fists. "Remember, Toffi. Remain diehard." she states before she assumes a pankration stance, eyeing him.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov lowered his ears for a moment, unsure on how the whole match was going to play out. But he had 'agreed' on doing it, so he was going to play through it until the end. He'd be trading the fist bump with Nayara, but certainly not with the same firmness as usual, not even that. Well... He was just going to have to work harder, even if he might not have been in the best state. "Good luck, Nayara..." A little quieter than usual, but at least he talked, before taking a quick turn and smacking his tail right onto Nayara's side without warning while she still had her hand up. Even without weapons, he still had his speed.
  
  Nayara eyed the canid intently assuming her game face before her opponent tried... From all the attack options he had at this choice he tried to attack her with his fluffy tail? The neko would make a joke about that but if Toffi tried to smack his tail on her, certainly that's because for some reason he could do some good damage with it. She knows Toffi don't messes around in arena fights. Still, she sidestepped from his attack before with a loud hiss, she would try to ram her forearm across his face in the best pro-wrestler fashion.   Christofer 'Toffi' Markov must have gotten rusty, or used all his speed somewhere earlier. That body was just not moving as fast as it should have been. What resulted from this was more unsureness as that tail did slip right past his opponent and he was then struck right onto his jaw and tipping him over with a strangled jaw. He did not like any hits onto his neck and with such a strike and the size different there was going to be some contact. It hurt. A lot. His throat being sore it would later on hurt even more. The neko really loved to hit his face, didn't she? With one of his hands covering his neck, the canid would attempt on retaliating by kicking Nayara onto her side.
  
  Nayara's attack nailed the canid nice and hard just as expected from someone like her. And this is because she said about 'taking easy'. The neko admired him for not going down with a harsh move like that and she gave him a grin of approval. Remain diehard. This is what the canid must be if he want to stand a chance against the Bronze Feline. Nayara tried to avoid the kick nailed at her side and she let go a grunt as he nailed her firmly. Not as firmly as her last attack but still a respectable strike. He want to trade kicks? Let's trade kicks then! And the neko would try to send her muscular leg aimed right on the canid's leading leg, hoping to strike him hard there.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov landed back onto his feet after having struck that kick. He'd however be made to jump back and do some acrobat manoeuvres as the neko was quick to go for a revenge in the same manner. With a flip backwards, the canid would be avoiding the leg, landing onto his arms afterwards and hoping to pounce away after he'd attempt on slamming his tail, moving behind his body with the whole manoeuvre, right against the neko's kicking leg's side so that she'd be pushed and turned away from him, giving the canid more time. His arms may have been some of his less pained parts, but they were not the strongest in build.
  
  Nayara blinks as she missed her strike on his leg while Toffi managed not only to dodge but also to strike that tail on her leg. And the neko yelps as that strike was just TOO STRONG on her making the neko even drop on her knee. GODDESS! How could it be? AFter the initial shock, Nayara looked up at Toffi and grinned at him "That's the spirit!", she praised before she tried to lunge at him. Wanting to get a hold on his head as she tries to headbutt him squarely on his nose before she follows it by attempting to grab his arm and twist it around putting herself behind of him while she forces that arm firmly to move where it's not supposed to move. But still taking care to not use too much strength to the point of break it. Just to force a submission out from him. (DOUBLE)
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov feared having to do close combat with the neko a bit too much to allow her to get hold of him. Yep. Firm, stoic or whatever, he knew his limits and one thing he would not be able to take was Nayara gripping him and pummelling him like he was some toy. He knew far too well how that felt, and with his legs the way he was, he did not want to go through that again. There was no terror on his face, but with him attempting to hastily swat Nayara's arm away he could feel his arm saying 'no' to Nayara's as he pushed her's away and proceeded then to dive out of the second hit's way. She almost had his hand there, but being smaller he was going to be harder to grab than that. With his form pulled back, he'd attempt then to strike one of his own legs onto Nayara's other leg's side. Maybe this could get her to fall again?
  
  Nayara wasn't doing well on this fight. Or maybe she was even giving all of herself but Toffi was quick enough to avoid both her strikes. He knew he would be in a world of trouble and pain if the neko caught him. Then, the canid on his turn managed to land a firm kick right on the other side of Nayara's leg, exactly the same leg he striked earlier. The result? A sharp yell of pain as the neko crumbles on her side. Was it intentional or not? Because Toffi managed to hit right on her knee's side DISLOCATING IT. The neko was obviously out of commission while she held her injured knee and hisses in pain as she holds her leg. Before being annoyed by the fact this is her 3rd lost in a row, the neko was happy for him to overcome her. He remained diehard just as she suggested. He won and he deserves to be praised (and become Naya's leg warmer for the night).
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov struck himself badly with that last strike as well. Where the tail didn't have much feeling to itself on the side of feeling pain, the leg surely did. He wasn't able to restrict the strength used, being all numb on his lower body's side, so when he struck he struck with the weight of his whole body. The kick having landed and the Neko off her feet and yielding - or yelling at least - Christofer thudded onto the sands of the arena floor, knees first and hands following just to support himself. If his legs weren't hurting before, they were now. With the adrenaline getting his nerves moving and allowing him to feel again, the pain was returning and biting onto him. It wasn't painless for either of them, that was for sure. And seeing how the neko's leg looked afterwards he regretted striking her there. A few more bruises here and there wouldn't have hurt, but doing that? That was unfair... [>>]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov. Still pained, there wasn't much for him to do as he was kneeling over there, with his legs shaking. It would have to be the medical staff that helped Nayara up, as much as he wanted to do that himself, but with wobbly legs, he was afraid that he'd fall and end up on hurting Nayara more. He did not want that... [<<]
  
  Nayara gritted her teeth as she tried to endure the pain of her injured leg before she slowly raises her torso up, easing on her bad leg and looking at him with a smile. "I'm proud about you. And I knew sooner or later you would do what you did." She then feels his possible concern about her injury. "Heh. Don't feel bad about what you just did. If wasn't my leg, certainly would be yours. So, cherish the victory you just had.", she managed to draw a sweet yep pained smile as the medical staff rushes in and puts the neko down in a stretcher before they carries her towards the infirmary.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov sighed at her explanation. Always the same person, even when beaten. If he couldn't feel bad about having hurt her then he'd soon start to feel bad about having such great people around him. That was no good... She wanted him to be stronger mentally too, even if he wasn't quite delivering it right now. But at least he wasn't running over to her crying, right? Either way, as the medical staff poured in to help out the neko, Christofer would be slowly getting up on his own legs. Just to wobble and make his limping way into the infirmary right after her... Win or not, he'd not be patting himself on the back until he was certain that Nayara's leg was going to be fine.

  Cody Darklance had no real intent in fighting in the arena this week, heck, he had other things on his mind. A debt to be paid and an old...we'll call him, friend -- that would spill his blood in the pits if he didn't pay up. So when a house slaved passed on a note requesting if he would fight, Cody thought only one thing: It must have been that sumbitch Omingmak sending a goon to collect. Well, no point in delaying the inevitable. The fox made his way to the arena, longsword at the ready, armor fastened tight and greaves jingle-jangling upon his entrance. Well, there weren't no one here yet. Was it a trap? Sword was drawn from scabbard and the fox looked about; just a few patrons in the stands, but no one out of the ordinary. Just what was this all about? He faced the portcullis and waited with a two-handed grip on his weapon. Who would that damn, dirty musk ox be sending out his way?
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had not expected to be challenged to a fight this late on the evening, but slaves couldn't be choosers. If he was not doing anything else and a request ran, he was to take it. At least he felt a little better about entering the arena now, getting to bring with him the familiar pair of daggers unlike last week when he was made to go in unarmed. To be honest, he didn't know what to really think of about it, but he was alive and supposedly that is what mattered. Upon entering, the canid was just his normal silent self, unsure on who he was to go against. Oh? He did not exactly recognize this person. For once a stranger it seemed. Footing was taken some few meters away from the other person, didn't seem to be in a good mood, so maybe he should be silent for now... Tail brushed against the ground, waiting...
  
  Cody Darklance blinked those golden eyes of his as a skinny, short, canine came prancing out into the arena. Just as the fox was about to question if this was a minstrel used to introduce the real fighter; he noticed the blades Toffi had. Cody cocked his head to the right, "Well then, reckon you assassins are gettin' younger and skinnier by the week. Omi not payin' you enough, son?" Clearly, Toffi wouldn't have a damned clue what the fox was on about, and Cody wasn't about to wait for answers. There was a rule about not underestimating an opponent, and while Cody was unclear as to which number that particular was, he looked to immediately [DISARM] the boy. He rushed in, and brought the sword to whichever hand Toffi would lead with, bringing the blade down with a slash. Handless assassins didn't fight so well -- if he was indeed one.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov blinked a few times at the mention on being an assassin. No? He was not an assassin, not that he knew of at least. The canid was not the one to absolutely willingly shed blood, nor was he a murderous person. That's what assassins were, right? Either way, with that distraction, the stranger gained an upper hand - unfortunately. Christofer would try to make a quick side step, just to get out of the way of the blade, but with too much distraction and him facing a stranger, they got him with that slash. A wince, fangs bitten against each other and a tight grip taken from the dagger of the now bleeding hand. A little too slippery, he'd lose a grip of it and it fell to the sands some meters away. He did have his other dagger too, but with the still unharmed arm having taken a hold of the bleeding spot, it was slippery too, and he couldn't risk accidentally hitting himself with an unsteady grip, so the blade was drawn back, for now. [>>]
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov did not want to let the stranger taking too much of an advantage of him, taking a light dash towards him and making a quick turn, attempting to slam his large tail right at his feet, looking to knock them over. [<<]
  
  Cody Darklance was right on top of the boy, successful in disarming his main hand and making Toffi bleed. The canine was too concerned with his wound to try and attack with his off-hand, and it actually made Cody frown. This weren't no trained killer, "Who sent you?" The fox barked, as he interrupted that tail swing to deliver a straight-kick flush to Toffi's stomach -- try and knock the wind out of the boy and send him down to his knees. "An' you best be quick, boy or I'll put you in a pine coat right here an' now." Cody clearly didn't like being toyed with, and was showing a side of himself in the arena few ever witnessed: anger.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov missed, what a surprise. He should have attempted on blinding the man first, maybe splatter some of that red arm of his at the man's eyes. Maybe... But he was no blood fighter, had not gotten used to fighting like that. Try harder. The stranger did advice for him to be fast, didn't he? So fast he would be, not looking for receiving any more than that unfortunate slash that had so unfortunately caught him off guard. No kicks on him today, the canid took a leap out of the way and somersaulted as he landed, leaving some red at his trail. Hopefully that'd work as a distraction as he took to reaching for one of his daggers and threw it right at the opposing person's chest. A clear target, hopefully enough time made for him to grab his other dagger. No time for talking.
  
  Cody Darklance missed his kick, but not his demanding questions. However, they would go unanswered as the boy nimbly vaulted and went for his weapon. The fox snarled as he spun around -- only to find Toffi driving the blade into Cody's chest, sneaking past the armor of his breastplate. Cody felt the hot sting of metal into skin, and blood pouring out of the knife wound. Instead of screaming in pain, Cody instead retaliated. It was a [DOUBLE] attack, the first part bringing his sword up between them and if Toffi wasn't quick enough to get out of the way eh was going to have the underside of his snout cleaved. Either way, breathing room gained, Cody would go into a one handed grip and spin; the longsword aimed right at eye level to blind the boy. Either with dripping blood or permanently, right now to the fox it didn't matter which.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov slinked right after his other dagger as the first one flung towards the target, using that momentum to grab the blood and sand covered hilt of the other weapon. That and the stream coming from his arm would have to be the only blood that he himself touched today. Narrowly escaping the first strike, almost feeling the blade cutting his chin but that was only a feeling, not an actual hit. The second one was just as close, almost cutting some of his cheek fur and getting uncomfortably close to his eyes. That was terrifying. The canid gritted his teeth, having gotten away unharmed but knowing that the situation could have ended much worse. With him quickly backing away, the canid would look for an opening to return, dashing and tackling the man right onto their torso, hoping to get the dagger pushing even deeper onto the opponent.
  
  Cody Darklance whiffed, on both attacks. Whoever this boy was, he was quick as a greased up piglet and looking to run Cody through once more with those blasted daggers. The fox was having none of that again, and with free hand would pieface the boy to keep him from getting that tackle. Cody brought his sword back and looked to shove it through Toffi's gut and out his back then he suddenly froze; golden eyes finally noticing the collar around the neck of the skinny thing. A snarl came from the fox, "A slave!? You're a bleedin' slave?!" He released his hand hold on Toffi's face and merely stepped back, muttering in some strange tongue. "Wa rursr i'a rsi'au sa uhphs i'a ni'ar?" He then sheathed his sword and called out, "Forfeit! The boy wins." Cody looked back to Toffi. "I don't fight slaves, yer no assassin." Someone was playin' at something herem, and he was determined to find out who.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov didn't have quite what it took to accomplish that particular strike, perhaps it was his size. No more distracting thoughts please, he needed to focus. The sharp pain from his arm reminding him that he was not supposed to daydream. Though- what was this? The canid took himself to a halt, stopping his attempt on possibly retaliating on an upcoming strike. What was the man doing? Hadn't the stranger been the one arranging the fight? "Sir, ....." What was he supposed to say? Bark out something? "Sir, slaves fight too, this is not disgracing by any means...." Well, he was speaking, though the boy had not expected for him to be opening his mouth for this... Confused blinks were given as he waited. The man was lying, this had to be a trap.
  
  Cody Darklance was a liar, when the lie made him profit. There weren't no profit in cutting down a slave; those things actually costed money. "No disgrace yo you I am sure, probably already a broken sod anyhow. But it's a disgrace to me to fight someone not of their own will." His weapon remained sheathed at his side. "Iffin' you're fixin' to make a name for yourself, then go right ahead. I am just gonna turn around -- it's what you do after that defines what kinda man you are." The fox did just that, turned away from Toffi and made a motion to leave the boy standing there. The canine had a victory by forfeit, could he live with it as such or try and secure it by blood? Cody gave the young fella all the time in the world to make his choice right then and there. Which would it be? Let the fox walk away? Or stab him in the back?
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was left feeling extremely confused and guilty in some terms. Upon being called to the arena, he had not expected this. Why? Why forfeit... He couldn't grasp it no matter how he tried. People who fought on the arena couldn't possibly care who their opponent was, right? That's what he had been told. So, why... Why was this man giving up now? Why forfeit? Head was shaken, daggers still in his hands as the other took to leaving himself open. What a cheap win... No... He was not seeking a victory, he was there to learn, always learn. "Sir, I am here upon a request, not to make a name for myself." Usual soft tone of his voice slightly shoved aside, the canid took a little firmer hand on the situation, not caring if his arm was screaming silently. "Sir, at least give me your name." He'd be raising his voice lightly, taking a step after the man. But requests as such were not for slaves, so he'd have to stop and remembr his place, ears folded backwards. "... If you want to...."
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was not going to just let the man leave though. If anything, he'd still remember at least how they looked. Getting himself moving again, the canid took to stretching his own steps, moving in front of the other man. Not straring, but memorizing.
  
  Cody Darklance sucked in a breath, something rattled in his chest. Eyes closed, waiting for the boy to strike, sink his daggers in Cody's back and claim a clean win. Steel did not come, but instead a shaken voice. "Cody Darklance..." The fox muttered, "Captain, Cody Darklance." He corrected himself, opening his eyes to see the boy standing in front of him, blocking his exit. "An' when that collar comes off, you find me then. But for now..." He made a motion to move, "Get your skinny ass out my way, I need a drink and some stitches." Fight over, and Cody's first loss in the arena. Still, the fox had scruples. He was a scoundrel, not a fucking scoundrel. So unless Toffi had any other parting words, Cody would take his leave and head back to his docked ship. THEN, he would find the sumbitch that arranged this fight and cut them in half.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was not actually expecting to get a name in return, so it surprised him. Further comments were not made, just a light look towards the man. No smiling, no nothing. Should he have thanked him? For sparing him? What was he supposed to do....He would have adviced the man to take himself to be checked at the infirmary, but didn't feel like trying his luck. Besides... The man was a captain, right? Probably had a whole crew ready and able to patch that chest up. Sighing, the canid let the man slip past him as he himself looked down onto the sandy floor. This was no way on having a fight end... There was no unnessessary bloodshed, so it was good, right? ..... Still, he felt guilty... And as a punishment for being too weak to have a proper talk with the man, Christofer would not pass through the infirmary himself. Let that arm be ripped, he deserved it...   Emplate was proceeded by chanting from deep below the arena. "Deshi basara! Deshi basara!" Slaves, loyal to the ant -- it had started off as a low rumble, but would reach thunderous levels as the insect passed through the gladiator staging area, just before the entrance into the pit. Her people. Her colony. That is what she called them, and now Emplate hoped to honor the most broken and wretched that went often unseen by those above by fighting in their name. She stepped through the portcullis, wings beating hard at her back and all four arms coated in resin blades, each more jagged than the last and ready to carve into flesh. The chanting ceased as double set of wings folded into her exoskeleton and the ant would take up position across the entrance; awaiting her chosen foe. No outward sign of emotion from insect, only a stillness as a light hissing escaped from the plates of her shell.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had not fought in quite some time. It had been a week, and another, and another. Now he was finally returning to the arena, hopefully not as rusty as he feared. The canid had picked his daggers from the underhall as he made his way to the sandy grounds. Focused, there wasn't much in his mind as he tried to keep his calm. Taking a deep breath, the canid grasped his daggers tightly and prepared himself. He had seen the red creature rip apart a fellow slave. He had seen it, and a part of that was his fault. He'd have to be careful. Focus. Just focus....
  
  Emplate let out a harsh "KRRRSH!" as Toffi entered; eyeing up the pup presented. Daggers noted, quickened heartbeat sensed. Was it fear that she smelled or something else? Well it was time to find out what this one was made of. The ant charged -- footsteps pounding into the sands as she came at him like an angry, red, avalanche. First order of business, try and take away his offense. It was a [DISARM] attempt as the ant went for his dominant arm, wicked blades looking to peel back flesh to the bone with an upward strike from her upper right, from forearm to elbow. Could she do enough to make him forget his daggers for even a moment? Or would this prove to be another fight of brutality vs. speed where Toffi would come out without a scratch?
  
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov tried to trust his speed most of the time. It was the best he had got afterall. The screech had him folding his ears backwards, it hurt his sencitive ears. And in an attempt to cover them, it took him too much time to react to the lunging red beast coming right at him. Such a dumb rookie mistake. The canid bit his teeth together as he was hit, some blood dripping from that arm - but in no way was he going to let his blade slip away from his grip. No way. He was keeping that blade and he was keeping his head in the game, slashing right at Emplate's side as he tried to retaliate before taking his distance to the beast.
  
  
  Emplate slashed but not for the desired effect, blood had been drawn but dagger remained in the hand of the pup and would be put to quick use. He stabbed at her side and would find his blade only giving her exoskeleton a minor crack, hardly noticeable in the rushed movements of both fighters -- but now Emplate had him just where she needed him. Upper arms lashed out for his chest, resin weapons attempting to dig into soft fur and flesh. The lower ones weren't busy being idle either, for it was a quick and brutal [DOUBLE] attack as they went for his stomach. It would be bloody if they both hit for she would rip in opposites directions; just to try and see what was inside the little canine.
  
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov winced a little. Attacking with his wounded arm was not smart, he couldn't get even close enough power behind the strike as he hoped. But a hit was hit. And speed was still his main aspect after all. That and his determination to continue fighting. With that and his smaller size, the canid managed to avoid the first strike, dugging out of the way and quickly turning to retaliate again seeing as their opponent's main weapons were down. But oh? He had not taken to account the fact that his opponent had Two pairs of arms. And the forgottend pair ripped right across his torso, making him clutch his weapons tightly and bite his teeth harder against each other. He paid for his mistake. The canid was not going to stay still though, leaving a trail just as red as the oppoinent behind himself as he took his distance. He'd have to preserve his arms though, as one of them was now weakened severely. Still usable, no worries, but not even near as useable as his other one. [>>]
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov quickly dashed towards Emplate, slashing her other side, and looking to pass her just as quickly as he came, he'd do the classical 'thrown dagger' tactic of his, gaining distance as he threw one of his weapons right at here back. [Double]
  
  
  Emplate didn't secure her hooks into his chest, but the ripping of his guts was enough to spatter her in red that matched her exoskeleton. Toffi got out of reach of the insect for a moment, using his speed to try and stay out of her brutal strikes. Clearly the pup had a plan by dashing in fro a quick strike to Emplate's torso, another crack, possibly the faintest hint of her black blood. BUT, as he turned to throw his other dagger in her direction he would find the ant already pounding across the sands toward him, tackling the boy in the midsection and attempting to rake the lower forearms once again across his guts, make him bleed more -- let herself be bathed in it. He was no lion, but his blood tasted nearly as sweet.
  
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov failed at dealing much damage. Was he this rusty? Or was the opponent just that... What was that red even made of? He could barely scratch it with the blades and he swore he was trying to hit as good as he could. But it wasn't enough. He had gotten rusty, it was back to training for him. Weeks worth of not fighting and he paid for it. Certainly. Not reacting quickly enough, the boy would be partly taken by surprise as he was still looking to figure out a way to damage the ant. No chances for that, he was slammed against the ground with a sound of 'crack' coming from his midsection and a pained yelp following. He had tried to stay silent, but that didn't last. Nope. He'd be making a nice splat across the sand. Though regretfully, staying awake and coughing. It was over for him, he needed more practise. But as of now? He needed to get away. Away from the ant. Lost or not, but he was not planning on becoming dinner.
  
  Loraen: "We seem to be late to most of the action this evening," Loraen remarked as Toffi took a tremendous final blow from the ant. The expression on her face for Emplate was not one of fond regard or a mutual respect. She still had long, raw-hide sized stitches in her abdomen and back from the foul little bug, and recommended no slave to suffer a loss from the creature. They hadn't the time to recover from how deep those shearing arms cut. Loraen watched with cold stoicism, drinking her wine.
  
  Emplate watched as the little boy crawled along the sands, her forearms dripping in his blood. Did she look this...pathetic, when she was recently beaten? The ant had never thought such things before and one of her hands would touch her own side in memory to what the hellhound had done to her. Then the realization came that Emplate had won once more. A sudden roar came from her, violent and angry -- wings slipping from her exoskeleton and beating hard. She would leave the boy crawling, turn and leave the arena. Back to the underhall for her, celebrate with her colony. Another defeated. Who was next? Maybe a lion would step up?
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov stayed awake, even with his torso now painted as red as some of the clothes he had been wearing recently. In either way, he had somewhat suspected that he'd not be winning this one. At least he had tried, and figured out he had gotten rusty. No less, staying awake and managing to get away as to not repeat the fate of some of Emplate's opponents, he'd be holding over the most severe of the wounds and once sure he was safe, he'd relax. Well, as much as there was to do with severe bloodloss starting to bite into him. Sadly, it was a short show, he'd have to get something for those wounds so to not worry his owner afterwards. He'd train harder for the next time....

  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had been sitting and waiting in the atrium, nothing much had been happening and the canid had decided to not bother the other slaves in the room either. Nope. The ones in the cage and outside of it were to be left alone. Maybe they could enjoy some silence? And he'd be getting some rest for his still hurting back. Yes... Or not. The canid had no such luxury as to enjoy a calm day it seemed, as they were challenged to fight someone on the arena. Hopefully Nayara wasn't going to be mad about this... He certainly hoped that this wasn't going tobe the case. Either way, being depressed was not going to help him as he made his way to the arena, put on something less fancy and grabbed his trusty pair of daggers, sharp as ever. Hopefully leaving on the waist supporter wasn't going to end up on being a mistake...
  
  Match Eddy grunted, groaned and otherwise made the sounds of the restless...no, wait, lazy dead; as the undead hyena dragged his coffin along the floor and into the arena. "What the hell is in this thing?!" He sighed, slumping down upon it. "Oh, right. Weapons. Let's see what we have in the tickle trunk today!" Lid was lifted and the hyena would begin going through items. "Crucifix? Naw, too biblical. Machete? Eh, too messy. Hrm, a gerbil? No, not that kinda fight..." Finally, he would select a 5 foot length of rusted chain. "There we go!" Before turning and looking at Toffi. A slow blink of his one remaining eye, "Uhhh, hello little girl. Could you please get out of the arena? The big boys are gonna have a sword fight." He thrust his hips towards Toffi most rudely with a giggle. He did not know who exactly he was supposed to fight, a random selection. Eddy was expecting maybe like, a giant, or a big dragon.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov hunched over slightly at the sight. Ummm... What was that? His opponent he meant. Not to be rude or anything, but the... creature..? person..? Either or neither, they confused him. Well, it seems that this was what he was fighting today. Whatever it was, he was going to try and do his best, see the opponent as an opponent and try managing with what he could. That'd be taking some effort, as he lowered his head and ears further at the comments, not feeling comfortable. Facical expression was not the bravest. Nope. Not at all. But he was not going to be allowed to leave until things were done and over with. He'd try and stay alive, take care of himself as he was told. No words were spoken as he was a little too taken aback by the comments directed at him. Not the best way to start the fight but... He'd give it a try. He used his already hunched over posture and readied himself for a quick lunge, attempting on slicing Eddy's side right up with one of his daggers to at least keep him from speaking out such words, following it up by keeping his distance. The boy had not fought an enemy that used chains before.
  
  Mama Black. "Is too pretty." The meerkat quipped as she made her way to the stands with her staff held against her chest, while the fleshy side of the skull adorning it seemed to move. Its eye shifted in its socket, as if trying to focus on the fighters as well. Once Eddy made his choice for weapon and the little fox-thing rushed forward, the witch doctor leaned forward with a slight sniff. Hopefully this would be good.
  
  Nayara silently approached the arena looking at her protegee (not slave) fighting against... An undead? The neko raised her eyebrow at Toffi's opponent but she wouldn't look down at him as a sign of disrespect. The neko was tempted to cheer on toffi by saying 'Remain Diehard' but she don't want to run the risk in break his concentration. All she did was watch the fight intently as the canid started the fight.
  
  Match Eddy started to spin a portion of the chain in one of his paws, immediately seeing the look of confusion, with a hint of what was that? Embarrassment? A little sprinkle of fear maybe? "Alright then, puppy fart; let's dance." Toffi did, striking hard and fast; sneaking into the personal bubble of Eddy and slashing up along the torso of the hyena. "OW SHIT FUCK BALLS!" What escaped the canine was a little blood and a LOT of maggots, wiggling and plopping out onto the ground, squirming away from the hell they were previously trapped in. Eddy staggered back with a look of disbelief. "Huh. I thought it was heartburn." Nose wrinkled, and he looked to Toffi. "Alright Little Miss Sunshine, if that's how we're gonna play..." The chain was spun around once more before it
  wrapped around one fist as he charged the thin canine. "I HAVE THE POWER!" He screamed before attempting to slam his fists into balls.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov certainly wouldn't need any distractions if he wanted to make it through this 'game'. Not that Nayara's encouragement would have been distracting, but just the sight of what his strike had left behind had caused. Nope. Nope. Nope. That was nasty, and that alone was enough to make him vince and wrinkle his nose. Being a canid he could smell a little better than some other beings - which did not help his case. Distraction, not good. His reaction speed was cut to some degree, allowing for him to only turn before Eddy was already there with his fist, hitting him. Not quite to the decired spot though, but his leg instead. Rather high up, but enough to get a vince out of him as he swiftly sought to make a retaliating strike, jabbing his blade right onto Eddy's torso before he'd be pushing himself away for that more desired distance. He wanted to stay as far of the being as he could.
  
  Match Eddy might not have been fighting a little girl, but Bruce Almighty, he sure as heck tried to turn Toffi into one with that low blow. Sadly, the attempt was mostly stuffed as the chain found more leg than dingly-bits. "Hey! Stop! You're stepping on my friends!" Eddy shouted as Toffi came in for another strike and squashed a few maggots underfoot. The stab found its mark, but that mark was mostly hanging flesh and a poked hole into the hide of the hyena. Toffi tried to get out of range again, but Eddy was quite content keeping him up close and...personal. Chain was unraveled quickly and then flung at the runt, looking to wrap it around his dominant arm and with a heavy pull; try and [DISARM] the boy. Success or not, Eddy wasn't quite finished as he brought the chain back and then whipped it again, "You got to whip it!" Trying to slam the length across Toffi's chest in his [DOUBLE] attack! "Whip it good!"
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was quite disgusted. If he was a selfish being, he'd be requesting or demanding a bath after the fight. But he was not like that, quite modest instead actually. But oh boy, was he being distracted again. Ears were folded backwards and that same look stayed on his face. Surely was no brave warrior by the looks of it, but he was not crying. Things were not going well for him, and with that, he might as well have been crying instead of just biting his teeth together, wincing again, holding in the sounds in some form of shock that was the chain pulling at his arm and ripping at the flesh, making some nasty scarring wounds in its wake. What was he doing? He could only wonder that as the dagger in that hand was sent off to the sands. Floof... He was really not doing good... Maybe he should have gone onto hiding? Until he was better? Being hit by the second strike as well had the canid waking up, pained but not hit quite as badly as by the first hit. The canid had to wake up or he was going to leave in a worse state. That strike left his middle part hurting, radiating that pain. It was kinda sorta up to the supporter to keep him standing, but it was enough. Taking his distance again from the man, he'd be getting rid of the chain around his wrist, but for the safety of his other dagger, the canid took to slamming Eddy's middle part with his tail instead.
  
  Match Eddy removed one of those nasty daggers and quite a lot of Toffi's arm along with the almost literal disarm, and while the hyena thought about making a 'need a hand' joke, after his second attack failed to drop the pup he would find himself being hit with a tail hard in the torso. Eddy was knocked back, and down to his knees. "KAFF! COUGH! What is in that thing? Bricks?! COUGH!" Clouds of dist came from the mouth of the undead creature as he rubbed at his mid-section, feeling ribs poking through. "Well that's just great, fur is one thing..." He muttered, straining to stand up, "But do you know how hard it is to find matching ribs? I mean sure, I could blow myself now..." Chain was twirled again, "...if I had a penis...still gotta find a new one..." Last part was whispered just before he lashed out with his chain once more, attempting to wrap it around Toffi's slender waist. If it hit, he would then pull and wrench, starting to spin. Count with me now, kids! 1, 1 spin! 2, 2 spins, 3...well, you get the idea. At about the 4th revolution, ah-ah-ah, Eddy would yank the chain free and hopefully send Toffi's entire body crashing into the stone of far wall.
  
  Nayara gave a silent smirk as toffi managed to deal a good ammount of damage on his opponent with that tail. She was also victim of this attack and just like Eddy she wonders what's on that tail. However, she gave a concerned look as the undead tries to use that chain to wrap it around Toffi's waist and wonders what the canid will do.
  
  Mama Black idly wondered that, too, because a great deal of fluff covering flesh and bone didn't make a good weapon. Maybe all that fluff was a lie, who knows. Either way, she eyed the canid's tail as if suspecting there was something abnormal there.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov's will to fight and survive was burning a little brighter now, the pain from his back keeping him awake and on the move. He was not going to be distracted by the sight anymore, he was going to defend himself from it, keep fighting, keep moving. Pain or not, sides screaming or not. Face wincing, fangs biting against each other... He had seen better days, but he needed to keep going if he wanted to keep seeing those better days afterwards. Dodging the next attack was crucial. It was important. A hit to his waist could have snapped it, even after a full week recovery and regardless of the waist supporter. He wasn't going to let that happen. With his legs, other side pained from the strike before, he'd jump, out of the range of the chains and made his way out of the range of Eddy again. But not without leaving him a little classic gift. A flying dagger coming right at his chest, mid flip in the air as well, as Christofer took to landing onto his arms, not caring if one of them was pained and the other one weaponless now. This wouldn't be the case for long, as he reached for the second dagger, making a lunge towards Eddy's side again with the blade pointed forward. The canid was not giving up.

  Match Eddy made a fine lasso around thin air, but not Toffi. "Well fuck me." The hyena cursed as the pup launched himself in the air and then threw a dagger at Eddy. The hyena poked out his tongue and made strange noises "PBBBBT!" Swirling the chain quickly and knocking the blade away. Toffi hit the ground, got his other dagger and left Eddy ALMOST speechless with the acrobatics. "Neat." Then another strike to the torso. "Really? I mean, I have arms, and legs, and like a head, missy!" He would have to skin at least 4 people to get a new coat going. Well, only 1 really, but where was the fun in that? He looked down at the dagger that stabbed him in the chest with a sigh; then directly into Toffi's eyes. "Have you ever made love to a man?" Before suddenly bringing the chain up and attempting to wrap it around the neck of the canid, looking to choke the life and fight right out of him.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had his skills on some areas. If one wanted to call him an acrobat, go for it. Either way, this was not his best showing. Not enough force behind that last strike, and the flying one went... flying? The canid had no idea of what had happened right then and there, but for all he knew, he hadn't been in his best condition when attempting that usual trick of his. Sad as it was. Well, that was it for him seemingly, his back called quiters after the sommersault landing that followed. Not quite snapping, but leaving him vincing with his attempt on getting up and running. His plan was to obviously dodge the incoming follow-up attack, as it was obvious, though the back pain stopped that from happening. He wasn't fully healed afterall. No screams of pain on that one though, rather some strangled noises. How long had it been since he had been strangled last? Didn't matter. All that was in his mind currently was the pressure on his rather thin neck, chain pressing on the scarf covering it, just passing the collar so that it hit the fabric instead of firm metal. Not a good thing. Add that to the back pain, straingling and some jabbing pain to his side, plus the feeling of his neck snapping in half. Christofer lifted his hand, the wounded one, as the healthy one was trying to lessen the pressure caused by the chain, pulling it away. No words were quite spoken before the dagger was dropped. And even still, they weren't the loudest of the bunch as his voice tended to be one on the quiet side. If Eddy heard it, he'd be knowing that the canid was attempting to yield. "I would go... further.... But I don't think I can..." Some breaks in his speech as he took his time to attempt breathing. Really, if it was hard to tell from when he was moving, surely Eddy would be informed now that the canid was no girl.
  
  Match Eddy would squeeze and choke like David Caradine's belt until the boy was blue in the face. "Shhh, it's okay my little snuggle pup, sleep now..." He slowly let off the pressure at the last moment but not before planting a tender, sweet kiss on the forehead of Toffi. "Don't let the bed bugs bite." And he would let the boy drop limply on the ground, not quite out but the fight was clearly over. "Well then!" Eddy stood up straight and slung the chain over to his shoulder. "Another one bites the dust!" He raised his arms over his head and did a little victory jig, right over to his coffin. "Do a little dance...make a little love..." Hip-thrust, "Get down tonight! UHN!" Chain tossed in coffin, lid slammed shut. Good times had by all, well, except Toffi.
  
  Nayara looked at how the fight ended and she would jump down in the arena as silently as she stepped in the area. Once the undead gave him the 'good night kiss', the neko walked towards Toffi and checked him. Alive. Nayara would pick up the unconcious canid on her arms before she looks at the undead, with an obvious disgusted expression on her face but more because of the smell of rotten flesh. "Well fought... Congratulations on your victory." she said while she looked at Toffi and if he was regaining conscience, the neko would smile at him. "You did well despite your defeat. And we need to talk about this fight once you're fully healed.", she said before she walked away from the arena carrying the little canid over her strong arms. Right into the infirmary.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was a little too pained to pay attention to Eddy's words at that point, focusing only to holding onto the chain - now with both hands. For better or for worse, his hands were not going to appreciate that. But the words that did come through to his ears kept him awake. Ears low, still folded backwards and his body struggling to lean back and away from the one at the other end. Pained but not willing to be taken out or any closer than he already was. Losing end maybe, but there was that last bit of determination still left in the back. And the energy to wrinkle his face at the kiss or... what ever it might have been. He wanted out. He wanted out so bad... Before fear would be kicking in. The boy was having way too many bad memories out of this experience. They had a strange twist to them, but not the pleasant kind. Being reminded of bugs, the canid jumped up to get away from the possible maggots still laying around. Christofer yelped at that, scarf tearing itself apart and strangling him more, as well as a sound following from the back. Amazing... And with that pain and the vision flashing to white first and then firmly fading to black, the boy was finally out.

  Zika Swifthoof acme into the arena rather slowly, limping along with the help of a rather larg cane. The hybrid wore hir white linen tunic and kilt today, letting hir move without struggling with hir bandaged left leg. Coming to take a seat away from most of the crowds usual sitting places, shi settled in. Cane resting over hir lap, as shi looked for hir Li'l Fox to come in. "Be careful, and do well." Shi'd call down to Toffi upon seeing the slave. Hopefully, in his new clothes!
  
  Kastrar just strolled out into the ring, her poise and grace befitting her as always. her arms behind her back as those gloved hands laced together. Calm militeristic stride as she turned to the right and moved to the side of the arena. Waiting for this toffi she'd seen before and Naya seemed to be fond of to appear. Her throat wheezed in a rythmic manner. Her tail swaying to keep track of the seconds. A plume of mist from her mask as she say the danty little fox arive. lofting a brow and sighing. "I do remember when males... were truely males... ANy... ways Little thing I've heard of you. And since the neko is fond of You I promise to not damage you too much.."
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov hadn't fought for a while, but that got him a good chance to practise other things as his back healed. Really, the little break was more than appreciated, especially after the incident had happened and then the fight that took place as he was still not fully healed. This in mind, and a few other things, like the contamination, he'd have wished to be able to propose to his opponent that they'd be fighting unarmed. Even still, his paranoia brought a pair of daggers along, just as a backup. They weren't equipped though, but still present. The mentioned new clothes that his owner was expecting were not quite there yet. He just... Needed to have a few words with Zika before he'd do much with his gifts. Like the weapon shi gave him. But that was for another moment. Eyes on Kastrar when he finally made his way to the sands some time after her, not really minding the comments on probably looking a little... No all that manly.   Kastrar's ears ticked. she'd shrug slowly. "I Supose I wont need this." She said reaching down and pull the pick out from the belt loop and tosses it aside to the wall. Her tail swayed as she took a gander over him, shaking her head a bit. "Luck is made, not just wished." She said as her cheek tufts twisted up as if hinting at a smile or sneer. She'd nod. "Okay then." Then she'd lunge into action, bolting towards the male, she'd bend over into a feral stance and pushes up towards him, righting herself up as she then twisted her body around to swing her right leg around towards his ribs right before she lands.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov sighed in relief innerly as he saw Kastrar throwing away that pick. Good... Now they had less risk on gravely wounding each other. Kinda sorta at least. But he shouldn't get distracted. People were dangerous even without weapons. "I'll keep up hope." Luck or not, he'd try his best and prepared himself as the woman was making those notes. Hunching over slightly and leaving forward, pressure on one of his legs, the canid jumped to the side as Kastrar lunged. Stay alert now. He'd have to doge as much as he could, rely on his speed. to carry him. As of now he was reacting faster than her, managing to avoid the first strike and attempted to place a kick towards Kastrar's legs right as she was landing, hopefully to slow her down.
  
  Nayara casually walked in the arena arena not wondering what's happening there. As soon she looks at Toffi and Kastrar going at it, the neko made a haste towards the stands just in time to see Toffi nailing a kick on her legs. While she likes Kastrar as well, it's clear who she's cheering on. "Remain diehard, Toffi!"
  
  Kastrar's fluid grace carried over, even as she missed him. Her legs tucking up towards her chest as his leg came to sweep them out. Moving as if he was standing still. That smirk showed on those tufts as she heard Naya. "Need worry Neko I wont maul him like the others." She said as her form came back down. Her left arm rolls back, hand curling into a fist as she swung up towards the males chin in an upper cut, the spikes on them were cosmentic and would be as harmful as being slapped with butter. Though her aright leg wrenchs her knee up, trying to slam it right into the other's gut in a fevered duel strike? [double]
  
  Zika Swifthoof hissed as the two started their trade of blows, rather quick and agile. "A good oppenent for you to practice, Toffi." It was a compliment towards both their speeds. When Nayara sat down, shi'd offer a soft smile at her, "Glad to get to watch him fight with you here to for once Nayara."
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was focused on the fight going on, he couldn't affort to lose focus afterall, but Kastrar's speaking, seemingly directed to another, got his ears perked. Who was there? Well, he knew a few people that might have been watching, and judging by the words he might have had a few ideas on who she was talking to. But mind on the 'game' now. No losing focus. The first strike he saw coming, taking a step back and having some luck on putting his weight there and the strike went to the air. The kick that followed hit its mark, but it barely felt like anything. Still probably a little numb on that area, he shrugged the strike off, moving right on to make another attempt at sweeping at those legs with his own, looking to take Kastrar off balance.
  
  Nayara noticed it was an unnarmed fight. And she could see the reasoning about this. Thanks to the water contamination issue, both fighters don't want to have nasty cuts and stabs to have them cleaned up with the water here, even with Adilea's precious help. She hears her friend Zika talking to her and smirks as she keeps watching the fight. "I got lucky here. Kastrar is an agile opponent, and I believe Toffi have better chances to defeat her than me.", humble as usual. "Regardless of the result, both are going to benefit from this fight."
  
  Kastrar's fluid form would probably only make Toffi Fart from the blow she gave him. "You're going to make me blush again neko if you ekep speaking about me." But no less she'd twist and work herself around in what would have others in rolling pain. The sweep of the feet had her doing a back flip away from those legs, grunting as she'd let her afeet try and come up and smack Toffi's chin as she retreated away. An odd move for most but not for this lynxett.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov kept his head in the 'game' and not on the way of Kastrar's feet, bending himself backwards just as she was seeking to land that aerial hitting attempt. Not today. Again seeking to use the moment while his opponent was airborne, the canid put some speed behind himself, moved closer and took a quick turn, leaving it up to his tail to smack the feline right at middle of her torso and hopefully sending her at least a good meter away if not more.
  
  
  Kastrar's agression was rising, her mind was now saying eat him alive... Hurt him... Do things.. bad things. As his tail missed she'd snarl out. Landing gracfully as her hands moved up to pull her mask off and toss it towards her pick. "This is taking to long.. Fight me! Not tickle me with your sex toy tail BOY!" She said as that disgusting view of her jaws is seen. One might expect some super acids to come flying out when she spoke? She'd then alet out a rather saliva heavy hiss as it flings out she glances at her pick for a moment before just turning back and rushing towards him as if she had mass and muscles to use, Though she'd reach her right hand out trying to grab him by the throat to slam him to the ground if she could. She was titering on the edge of beserken rage it seems!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov offered a brief look straight at Kastrar's, perhaps hoping that their eyes would meet and share a little look. Her word choise was a rather odd one, and usually it would have gotten a little different reaction out of him, but what was training without results? No faltering on that nasty remark, he'd be making sure to not fall for mean comments like that. The glance having passed, he'd quickly dive away from those arms. No catching the canid today, but she can catch this elbow to the back of her head as a payment for the comment she made. He didn't really play dirty, but there was no other way to quite reach that high other than this.
  Kastrar, draws back and away from him he'd miss again before she shook her head slowly checking for weak points before she'd Shaked her head again before walking right up to him. "Lets call this a draw before I use more than that pick?" She said pacing up towards him, waiting for his reaction if he accepted she'd not go in for another blow, they were an even match of speed and reactions it seems?
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov winced a little as he missed again, looking as his opponent escaped his strike. He needed to hit. And he was really trying too. He just needed to try harder. If it really came to it, he'd tire the opponent out, make her stumble in some other way, he'd do it, but he was still really attempting to land a strike onto her. Ready for her to follow up on the attack, the boy jumped back and prepared to dodge again. But no hit came? ..... That was not going to be all that good. He wasn't even near at the giving up point and quiting now would not further much things at all. Wasn't going to help with his training. "Don't give up yet. You've been close to hitting me, but so have I hit you. Watch me, at least a few turns." He just really wanted at least that one strike. "Or are you tired?" Not a taunt buuuuuuuut.
  
  Zika Swifthoof tail gave a light thud on the ground, eyes wathing the two combatants carefully. "Let not fustration get the better of you." Shi called out otwards Kastrar, a touch of advice from hir own mistakes in the arena lately. But, also, to try and convince her not to go for that pickaze.
  
  Kastrar's form paced around him. She was thinking. "Madam in the seats let I a remind you this is not real war, this is not real combat but a game, played for fun, other wise he and most others would have been dead as their breathing slowly came to a stop or for someone like you, you'd be clawing at your own eyes to make the pain stop. This is not a battle." She said seeming to labored with every breath as saliva dripped from her exsposed lower jaw, something she could not really control. "A sport.. And this is a slave that is working for freedom not doing this for fun, for something to do out of boredom." She said standing before her pick and mask bending over and picking up her mask, reafixing it to her face as that plume of mist came out. That voice came back in that muffled manner. "In real war.. This is over in about three moves.." She said as her eyes locked onto him before she grabbed that pick. Looking to use it but instead throwing it near him, not that it would hit, but a distraction as she a lunges towards the tiny male, her legs out front as she was looking to smash into his chest with all of her mass.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov wasn't really quite the 'freedom fighter' Kastrar might have thought. Sure, he'd go for that as his goal eventually, probably. He had to do that someday. But for now, he'd have to accept things and just focus. Plans for the future came later. The time Kas took to explaining people what was going on was more than enough to allow him an easy dodge. Still. He promised himself that he'd land a strike, so he Would Land a Strike. He had been using his speed to dodge so far, and that had worked quite well overall, but now he put that into his attacks, backing up them further and really tried to get a hit in. Taking a swift turn again, he'd go for the strike with his tail again, slamming it against the lynxette's legs, hopefully causing for her to trip, as he went for a kick to her head. He'd possibly regret it later, but he needed that hit. [Double]
  
  Kastrar's form would leap right over toffi when he came in back to strike at her twice. The second strike would look like he was attacking nothing but air this time she'd tuck and roll as she made a move for her pick. Grabbing it up as she twirls it around. That sharp edge would be flicked around for the more anti armor blunt edge. "Sorry this is just taking too long.. And Naya I wont use the spike. Don't worry before you yell at me."S he said before she leaped back, tucking into a roll and rising her right arm up high with that blunt end as she strikes towards Toffi's back to end this!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov wrinkled his face. This was.... Disappointing... Not at all like himself, things just weren't going anywhere. Sure, he loved the speed and he was actually proud of himself for being able to dodge this well, but... It just felt like it was stuck on place, the situation. Maybe... Maybe the stakes weren't high enough? Wrinkling his face again at the thought of it, he might need to take a risk here and make a stupid move. Progress had to be made, even if it was not the most pleasant kind. "Take your weapon." Yep, he was calling his own suggestion to be nulled. He didn't like it, but things couldn't be at a standstill. He'd feel regret towards his decision later, but he took the pair of daggers he had brought with him, just in case. But it looked like he was the one breaking the 'rules' now. Perhaps this was going to get a little more movement into the game? It seemed that Kastrar had gotten the same idea, grabbing her own weapon as well, and striking it against that back. A hit. And this time he actually felt it, wincing slightly, but he had agreed on this mentally already. If he was going to learn, it may just need a hard lesson. With his back now acking slightly, the canid lunged with the dagger held firmly in his hand, a little too firmly, attempting to slash at Kastrar's neck he passed by her.
  
  Kastrar's movments picked up, she was now putting effort into it, moving faster and with reason again. Practice killing was all the arena was, just with rules. She'd spin away from him as he swung with those daggers. Making her snort and laugh in that rasping old lady fashion. "Still slowl boy." She said as the blade passed her by, tail lashing about in a fevered fit. Adding to her spin as his back was to her's looking to slam the blunt side of her pick against his ribs. Wanting to break his will as much as those.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov shut his eyes for a moment. Was he really going to go that low with his moves? Striking and aiming for the neck? .... Yes... Yes he was, and it felt horrible, but it was the way he would go just to get some damage dealt. The laugh felt bad, but he knew that he hadn't done anything to really give her a reason not to laugh, yet at least. Another swap of misses, he'd not want to be struck again and spun himself out of the way, going straight into another nasty jabbing attempt at the back of Kastrar's neck if he could catch her.
  
  Kastrar's nicked neck would start to bleed a bit, no more than her normal oozing wounds that never healed. She would continue to leak as she did give him a nod of well respect for finally hitting her. She was in pain and under the furr one could see muscles flexing and twitching. "NOw that we have them and I was being a very nice person and not smashing you with the sharp end and leaving wounds that could heal better.. I think after that that respect is off on my end." she said as he spun and she spun with before going the opposite waywith that pickj to not swing at his chest but down to let the blade part of her pick aim for toffi's upper thigh towards a rather dangerious part to be stabbing around in.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov hit! He finally hit! It took a nasty move, but he finally hit. The idea of a semi-friendly match for the sake of the contamination was thrown right out the window then. It wasn't going to be pretty. Kastrar's hit aimed towards his leg was there, and he could have avoided it were it not for the extra length that the weapon gave her, leaving a cut over that area, and a little extra due to the added speed that they parted with. It was another not so nice hit onto him, but still, he probably deserved it. With standing the red line that was forming over the cut, the canid kept at it with the nasty line, following right after Kastrar and attempting to strike the lynxette right on the muzzle - or somewhere around there - with the back end of one of his daggers.
  
  Kastrar's arm wrenches that pick back, she was enjoying this, taking him apart bit by bit, he was wearing down. She felt it, knew it, loved it. The retort she saw coming right for her face, as he came in closer she'd cheat? Blowing a plume of mist out towards his face to obscure his vision to then bend backwards. Going into a limbo posture. Her legs bending down as her body ducked and backed up at least a foot down and away. "Better.." She said then coming back up, her other hand grasps the other end of the handle of her pick, thrusting it up to shove the andle up at the others throat and press it into the poor canids air ways. The force of her body recoiling back should help?
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was going to feel guilty after thi fight for seemingly being a brute and targetting the head, but so far it was the only method of dealing damage. Last hit had been a somewhat close call too. Floof and overly soured sweets. Maybe this was how he'd let go of his rule of just simply never going for the face? Ummm, perhaps he'd still not try poking people's eyes nor jabbing the straight on, but the back of the handle and whatever part his own body had were not ruled out. Especially when his opponent took to going for the head as well. He actually snarled a little at the attempt, wrinkling his nose and coughing at the mist, but managed to dodge either way. Keeping their distance short now, a strategy the canid never really went for, he'd stike with the back of the handle himself, striking at Kas' temple.
  
  Kastrar, was now starting to smell rather sour with the effort into this fight. Combine with the other scents inside those coveralls she was not a fresh spring daisy now. "ShHhh you are trying to hard." She said grunting rather loudly as he missed she then starts to laugh. "I could stand still and you'd miss little doggy!" She teased and harrassed, her tail lashing as she spin around after his strike and just aims for the male's back once again. That seemed to be his weak spot?
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov didn't like it when she laughed. Floof. He needed to give her something in return as a payment for trying to 'step on him'. Things had to change. Let him hit again, come on now.... The canod wanted no more damage on himself, that wound on his leg bleeding ever so slighlty and spreading around the wound. That was going to be hard to fix if they just jumped around for hour and hours. Avoiding yet another hit, he repeated the progress, slashing at the neck again. Maybe getting your throath open would shut Kas?
  
  Kastrar did just stand there as he strikes. Then just looks around. "THis is going to be over?" She said staring at him as she seemed to feel imortal suddenly? Was she going to strike him in the face. "Neko are you going to be mad with me If I become.. Brutal? Savage? TRuely war like?" She said twirlingt that pick by the handle in her hands beforecoming right towards Toffi and twirng to shove the thing up towards his chin, using the end at the shaft not the spike.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov wasn't going to let her become brutal, taking a dive and getting out of the hit's way. Kastrar's focus was elsewhere again but.... The boy was going for the head far too often it wasn't exactly fair to just keep abusing her there in hopes of hitting again. She knew that he was going to hit there so.... He did go for something a little different now, by.... Uhh... Stepping on her tail. Great. Hey it was different! And she was slipping away from him, so he had to try something. If pulling Kastrar's tail was going to get him somewhere he'd take it. He'd take it.
  
  Kastrar's reacted rappidly, her tail hikes up high, just like if Ambeon was around.... She'd then kick her leg out suddenly towards the males face? Why well it was righ there and it was the fastest thing to do! She'd snort as she yelled as best she could. "I swear now I am going to grab you and throw by your balls.." She said hopping away
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was hit! Or, well, he caught the kick, blocking it with his hand and pushing the woman away fom him then, jabbing at that wounded spot on her neck. "Don't even go there." Oh? He could speak? Right right. He could. And now that Kastrar was going for his face, he would go for hers. Head for a head, right? Well, a dagger in your neck please thank you~
  
  Kastrar, darted away as he jabbed, well she was a woman of her word. "OH? That is a place to go?" She said looking up at the others and shrugs it off not really understanding what he meant. Her tail lashing around before she'd go for it! She'd alet her left hand's grip loosen up off her pick as the right hand moves over it to then swing it t the boys face, the left hand would indeed be true to the word and to try and grab for that sac of cash and prizes between his legs doing damage there by trying to throw him.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov still had the stamina to go, but the fight had been going on for ages. His head was spinning a little at this point. A glare was given at Kas. He was so done at this points, ears falling towards the back of his head. He just wanted it to be over, but not like this. Hit to the face was dodged and the... Oh no you don't. The boy let out a screech just at the attempt of her tryng to do what she was planning on doing. Ok, so he managed to kiiinda avoid the strike, but redirecting it to hit the already bleeding wound wasn't the best of his plans. That actually did hurt quite a bit. A lot even. Ripping the wound quite a bit larger. He had little time left. This needed to end soon. Stepping on Kastrar's tail again, he'd attempt to follow up on that by jabbing at the back of her head, just in revenge for the already wounded part being hit again.
  
  Kastrar's claws held that blood from the lighter weight's groin. She'd start to laugh as she then just ducked and weaved. Laughing as she weaved right Into that next athat next blow, being ripped open with ease as she turned and stared right at him, he hit a few pockets of fettid lynx that she would be thankful later on for him doing so. Her arms reaching up to cover the fillet lynxett area he just opened up, Getting her left hand over it to keep the view of bone and puss, blood and muscle tissue from the others in the arena. She'd spin around with that pick, trying to cordinate a counter attack to his ribs or chest.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was disgusted. The smell horrified him. Eww. The feline was smellyng very nast now. The smell from that wound, just, ugh. His head was spinning even more, he was dizzy. Holding his head, he sought to take distance, barely even noticing that Kas was even attacking. Well, good on him that she missed, but it wouldn't be long now. He just wanted for it to be over now. The longer the fight went on, the longer the open wounds were exposed and risked being infected. As he saw her near, he took another attempt at knocking her out with a hit to her temple.
  
  Zika Swifthoof was leaning over the edge of the railings that stopped one form jsut hopping into the arena. Hir tail flicking in worry over hir slave, eyes tracking as much of their speedy movements that shi could. "Don't get hit again.." Shi whispered with worry under hir breath, in a way that only Nayara might hear.
  
  Kastrar's wound oozed puss-ed blood from it, he did actually in a way just save her having to dig into that later. She'd stumble around as she was hit again, though this just bounces her around a a bit more before she has to take long deep breaths. Bleeding from her new wounds before. "Why wont you just give up..? I love it../.. You wont will you? I love it! Reminds me of this dragon.. Though Unlike with you I watched from within it's jaws as the life faded out of its eyes..' She said wheezing before her breath was caught. Her right arm raises over her head, her left leaves her wound as she adouble hands the pick and then hops in, limping towards him as she swings aaround to let it swing up towards his pretty boi face, the blunt end would hopfully send him into the staduium seating?
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov's world was spinning. That smell. It was disgusting. Being a canid he could smell it even better and he sure as heck did not enjoy it. He had hit again, that was good, but he still hoped for the fight to end. His pride and determination wouldn't allow him to accept defeat, but at this point he was unsure of what he wanted anymore. His health had to come over his pride, but still he couldn't find himself giving up. "I'll keep going. I won't stop......" And then he got hit again, but this one felt like nothing just like the other hit to his face earlier. He had grown numb. So numb. So very numb that he no longer regretted as he went straight on and struck her in the jaw.
  
  Kastrar's cheap side comes out as she reaches up to wound, agetting some of that blood as she then flicks it towards the canid, his disgust amused her. The wound was starting to stop the bleeding, using that as a distraction and it worked. "This is making us look like jibbering hyoomans with fur. Monkeys? The ones that throw their shit aat each other?" She said then flicking that nasty smelling stuff at Toffi again before going right for his head with that pick? Hopfully the dirty trick would work?
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov snarled. Ok, the attempt at Throwing the nasty stuff at him. No. Screw you. You're not getting a hit in again today. Floof, the canid was starting to get a little heated on the mood too now. "Why won't you just.... Stay still...." Head spinning, it looked like Kas was bouncing all over the walls. Where on earth was she?? At this point the boy just swung that dagger around on their eye and head level, hoping to hit something.
  
  Kastrar had enough after she rolled with that next swing of the dagger before snarling back, this kat was done with this fight as she just let go into that beserk state. "Die.." She said as she put everything her body had left into it. Tucking and rolling towards him in a summersault manner before sprining up to swing that pick towards his face again.. She was tired.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov must have gone insane. What happened to the 'health over pride' just a moment ago? He kept on dodging and just resisting the urge to call it a game. Really, now it was just two people, too determined to not give up, endlessly attempting to end it but neither just would give up. Imagine a slapping fight, with knives, and the participants are drunk out of their mind. Idiots. Yep. That was basicly these two here right now. Throwing dead threads and what not at each other. "Please.... Pretty please..." A pair of not so undead zombies. Another shot at the dark with that dagger, perhaps it would rip off that mask of hers?

  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had done it. It took ages and he was an idiot for not giving up, having that wounded leg bleeding all over from the wound down to his anckle and the bottom of his foot. The sand had marks on them, meters apart, some overlapping, the rest just a mess. A mess just like the two fighters were. At this point it was really a matter of time whose feet gave in firts and who slipped first. The canid was no longer aware of things. What happened with Kastrar? He wouldn't know, he couldn't see. It was all black. The boy had won, but it had come with quite the cost. And after months of forcing himself to stay awake after each fight, loss or not, the boy fainted. As a winner but completelly uncoscious of the moment. [Posting as Kas was too busy to post. Is game, is good]
  
  Zika Swifthoof immediately got up, litterally floating as magic overcame hir and shi headed towards the arena floor. Quite simply, to look after hir Li'L Fox, taking out a roll of bandages and pinching off the wound just to stop the bleweding as well as any trained medic. The slave would be handed off to the real ones immediately upon their arrival, and shi made dam sure not to skimp out on any medical care.

  Nayara didn't wasted any time as soon she heard Zika, her friend and rival would fight her (and Naya's) shared slave (or Protegee as Naya uses to say). This should be an interesting fight to watch and maybe, in the next time the trio gathers in this arena, all of them would be trading slashes in a 3-way battle hopefully. Silently she settles down in the arena's stands giving the judge of this fight, Jacob Cross, a nod in greeting before she focuses on the incoming match.
  
  Zika Swifthoof stepped into the arena with the clack-clack of hir hooves upon the stone floor, until shi entered the sands of the arena floor proper. Nude, aside from hir black-eye patch over hir left eye, the woman weilded a large guandao as hir weapon of choice. Those that might know hir, would notice a rather large increase in the size of hir chest, but shi'd not make any effort to accentuate it. Simply turning around and stepping into a balanced stance, wepaon in both hands as shi fasted the arena exit. "Ready, Li'L Fox?" Shi quired.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov followed after his Mistress in a haste, not having much time to really think through his thoughts as he followed after the hybrid, almost stumbling on the stairs as he moved. Well wasn't this great? Had it been anyone else he'd have been a little hurt for the fact that someone dragged him onto the sands from the middle of where he had been training and tiring himself. But it was his Mistress, he couldn't be angry at hir. Well, clutching the newly aquired pair of weapons, some larger in size 'knives' - as in, the pair of kukris that he got from his Mistress, he'd take his own stance near the doorway, taking in a breath. "As ready as I'll get, Mistress. Don't worry." Accidents happened. Right. Right...
  
  Zika Swifthoof gave a nod to hir slave, making sure he was fully prepared before shi came after him. They were to be pulling their punches so to speak a bit. Oh the threat of pain and hurt was real, but, this was an examination of his and hir own skills to date. Not a free for all where they aimed to make limbs useless like some fighters. Zika tested the slave with a simple sweep at his legs with hir guandao's blade to start off.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was glad at that little opportunity to catch his breath. His mind was still on those stairs, stumbling forward and ever so slightly dizzy as well. But his mind awakened quickly, familiar smell of the nearby salty ocean and the sand on his feet. The usual, it was time to move. Zika would be the judge whether she liked or didn't like that the boy managed to jump quick enough to to avoid the attack thrown his way, leaning forward afterwards, like with the stairs, the canid took to stumbling and making a sommersault forward, sprung up once he got close to the hybrid, attempting to strike at hir arm from bellow, possibly causing for the hybrid to let lose of that weapon of hirs, if only for a turn. [Disarm]
  
  Zika Swifthoof as had come to be the usual luck in hir fights, was nearly crippled from the start. That kukri dug in deep, sending hri weapon clattering to the ground as shi yanked away with a massive hissing pain. The weapons were made to cut deep, and that they did, slicing apart several scales, drawing blood. Though, not leaving hir without the ability to sue it like usual. "Good." Shi hissed at hir slave, praising him Before whipping hirself around, and aiming that massive tail in a whip-crack at his head.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had not expected for the little stumbling trick to work, but he had hit his target either way. Must have been the size difference... Either way, the more damage he dealt, the more he had to fix after the fight. Unless the magic healer was still present. No. He'd treat the hybrid himself either way. If he managed after the fight. Readying himself for a follow up attack, just because Eloisa had struck right back while they were training he couldn't let his guard down. The tail came swinging, but with that lucky size difference, he managed to toss himself aside before he could be hit, slashing at the tail in passing. Any damage was damage.
  
  Zika Swifthoof tail darted away before he could get a slash in. And rather quickly snapped out to grab at hir hablred, raking it in and sweeping it up to hir paws in one fluid motion. Shi spun, slashing at his arms to try and return the favour of a disarm, and create some distance between the two of them. But immediately, weither or not hir first attack connected, the blade slashed at his tail, going after the appendage in a way most likely didn't think to. But, shi knew, that fluffy thing could pack a wallop. [Double, first is disarm.]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov jumped back, expecting for that tail to come back for him as it swung so far away. False, it wasn't the tail that returned, it was that long bladed pole coming his way instead! The boy took to leaning away, attempting to avoid the worst of it. Hands stayed behind though, getting themselves hit, but not by the blade, instead of the blunt side of it, only brushing over him, but hitting either way. Had he been a mean person, he could have taunted Zika then and there, but he wasn't going to, besides, it seemed that the strike had a follow-up incoming, one that he'd want to get away from sure, making quick work with his feet and turning so that his tail was swung out of the way. That one wouldn't grow back if hit badly (nor would any limb, but it was harder to fix). The canid did not want to be a bob tail! Tail hits aside, the boy took to getting closer when the weapon was swung away, he'd hit Zika's side with the blunt side part of the kukri, not going for damage.
  
  Zika Swifthoof was slow to react it seemed, hir fights compounding on hir body's damage from losing that arm years ago. Unable to handle the speed of hir own slave, that blunt side fo the kukri still hit hir side hard enough to crack a few scales, and leave several nasty brusies under said scales. Shi hissed, in a growing frusttration and!.. threw hir guandao to the ground. Instead going into a low crouch, and going after him with hir claws! Aiming a swipe at his legs, hoping to hook his leg and knock him to the ground.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was hitting his Mistress with the gift Shi hirself had given him, so certainly shi had picked right when it came to the weapon choice. Unfortunate for the hybrid in this case though, Toffi was indeed a pesky little dodgy being, avoiding yet anoter one of hir strikes, be it barely, but he did. With the weapon being thrown away, the canid saw that he should do so as well, if only temporarily, just because he felt bad for stiking his Mistress with sharp new blades. He didn't wasn Zika to be the first one he cut with those, even if it had already happened. Either way, the boy kept a hold of the blades, slashed at the hybrid, but turned and struck hir with his tail instead! Maybe he could knock hir off hir feet?
  
  Zika Swifthoof found hirself unable to so much as touch the slave, aside from that passing scratch earlier. And as hir claws missed, that tail slammed into hir with more force than his kurkri ahd, and knocked hir straight on hir ass. The hybrid landed with a whinny of pain, legs still horirbly sensative from being sliced and speared through by certain other fighters. And, even though it looked like shi could continue, shi stopped and held up hir paws. "I forfeit. You've done well in learnin those weapons Li'l Fox." [e]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov wouldn't attempt to try hitting a downed opponent, weapons were kept still, tucked back to their sheats even. Ears fallen back. He'd not want to think of being too good by any means, and wins like this weren't always of the best sort as they gave him little to learn. But he would be glad if the forfeiting was leggit and not just a buff. "Mistress, are you ok?" Dumb questions, but he felt the need to ask it either way, holding out his hand as if he could, with some miracle, help pulling the 2 feet taller hybrid back up to hir feet.
  
  Zika Swifthoof accepted his help, rising up carefully. Tail supproting hir as much as legs right now. A flick of a wrist, and the guandao levitated up witha smallaura of arcane energy around it. Letting it float to hir, so shi could use it as a walking stick to help lump out of the arena.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov would have supported his Mistress, though that weapon worked as a bit better support due to its size than what he could have given. "We'll go clean those wounds and I'll stitch them up, ok?" He'd be looking up, leaving with the hybrid. Clean the wonds, and the weapons. Clean everything!
  
  Nayara was happy to see Toffi earning another victory but at the same time she feel bad about Zika losing another fight. Even with that, Nayara still respects the hybrid (despite that tease the hybrid thrown at her on their last fight). If there's no other fight about to go on, the neko would just get up and head back to the atrium.

  Colas Siegebreaker stepped out into the arena with a roll of his steel-clad shoudlers. The golden colored dwarve steel rippled and softly chinked against itself as he stepepd out into the sands, tail giing a mighty flick and sending some of the sand into the air. "Yer gonna be a new kinda fight laddah." The draconic dwarf caleld out to the slave that was his opponent.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was still mostly covered in bandages from the waist up all the way to his neck. What a glorious hunting trip it had been earlier that week. Though luckily the tight wraps were mostly just for support, only covering a dozen bruises, no actual bleeding cuts. There might be some after this one though, one would have to see. Making his way to the arena a little after the dwarf, Christofer would be carrying the kukris he had received as a gift, still looking for a good chance to use them. We'll see how this goes and he'd bow lightly to Colas."I hope we can both learn something from this then." Smiles were saved for later, but he wasn't feeling too bad about this as he was readying himself.
  
  Colas Siegebreaker gave a heavy bang of fist upon chestplate, "I respect yer way of thinkin' lad. But, stil gotta say, do try to kick me arse, ain't fought anyone decently quick in awhile." Or atleast, thats how he hoped Toffi was. And with that, he'd test the slave out, going right on in for a quick, simple punch to the face!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov wasn't going to literally kick anyone's behind just yet, he didn't fight like that. But he'd have to put some weight onto his words with the way Colas just up and came at him. A quick step to the side, this time he was the bigger being and had more mobility and reach than the other person, so he technically had the advantage here. The canid had to stay close though, his opponent seemed plenty solid. "I'll try and do my best." Simple as that, and afterwards the canid would go in, attempting to strike the man with the side of one of his kukris, looking to possibly make at least some kind of dent to that armor on the middle part. Push the can in.
  
  Colas Siegebreaker found the slave slip away rather eaisly, and that blade came in and chinked against his armor. Connecting, but bouncing off the tough dwarven steel. "Come on lad, slice me joints, unde r the armor, trying to take it head on like that might not do much to Dwarven Steel." Was he giving advice on how to kick his ass? Sure was! Solid kick was aimed at Toffi's elgs, looking to sweep him off his feet.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov shook a little as he did indeedly hit the armor, but the impact left him shaking in its wake rather than the one wearing it. A slightly comic sight, but that just meant that he had to try and hit harder if he wanted to get to the man under the armor. And he was actually being taunted too! He'd listen with an ear tipped to the side, but would not let it distract him too much. 'I'll see about that' went through his head as he managed to barely react quick enough to avoid the second strike, turning swiftly and slamming his tail onto the man's middle part then. Bigger area, more force, maybe he'd be sent a few meters away?
  
  Colas Siegebreaker took the hit to his chest agian without even bothering to move. This time quite curious to see if that tail could do anything to him. Unforunately it'd bounce right off in a rather hard manner, likely sending a heavy jolt through the slave. "Interesting tactic, for a furry." He chuckled, before whilring around himself, and looking to smash that tail into the slave's legs and flip him head -over-heel into the sands below!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov should have waited for himself to land before going in for the strike, that man was smaller than he thought, but even sturdier as well. Not a dent, nor a budge in return. Another taunt followed, was that their strategy? He'd have to get behind it somehow. Colas was quick to follow his taunt with an attack again, Christofer only barely avoiding the hit again. Taking to the sands after the dodge, he'd try to use that speed of his to slice Colas' legs with one of his blades, hopefully having a little more effect that just slapping the chest armor.
  
  Colas Siegebreaker found the slave's quick speed not only lent to a good chance to dodge, but also get in for those quick strikes. And what a strike it was! That slice finding a weak point in the man's knee joint, right under a plate and it ripped in deep. Making colas let out a draocnci growl of pain, dropping to his knee a oment as blood gushed out. "Fuck!" He growled, before the runes acros shis body took on a faint white glow, "There ya go lad, keep doing it!" The dwarf said with a wide grin, happy for someoen toactually fuckign hurt him for once. He sured after toffi with his wings beating to help propell him, aiming a hard upper cut at Toffi's head, before looking to wrap around the slave's arms with his tail and yank the hard behind his abck, hopefully twisting them hard enough to make him drop his weapons! [Double, second weapon disarm]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov might actually listen to his opponent's taunts a little more from now on. Hitting those limbs did indeed seem to work to his advantage. Might have been thinking a little too lightly of the situation, shouldn't have turned to see if the man was ok after swearing. Not so close at least. The uppercut hitting him square to the jaw, luckily not quite making him bite his tongue, but it'd be adding up to the bruises and have his chin feel rather numb afterwards. And make his head cloudy, not reacting quickly enough to gain that lost distance and being slammed onto the floor right afterwards. A surprised yelp was let out, this man put up a fight! He'd not let go of his weapons though, squeezing onto them tightly and attempting to slice at that tail wrapped around his arm.
  
  Colas Siegebreaker let out a satsfied snarl, not just at landing his uppercut, but feeling his tail slized at. That cut digging udner scales, and even intoa couple of them. Eyes now trailing a faint purple mist, and runes glowing a bit brighter, the dwarf let out a beastial sound of excitement. "Oh laddy, don't you dare tease me. Keep those daggers cutting, ain't anyone been able to nick and slice me down before." The dwarf's tone was gleeful, even as he sought to grab one of the slave's legs and whip him around by it, hopefully sending him flying into a wall!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov managet to get lose from the grip he had been in, receiving himself another taunt to catch with those alert ears. Jumping back with good precaution, the canid would get his distance, avoiding the grap and making it so that he'd not be reached. "No take-backs~" A lighter tone in his voice, seemingly resonating with Colas' own, the canid went in and attempted to get a good strike against that middle part, the only area he had yet to damage.
  
  Colas Siegebreaker would get a nice small scratch under his armor, the thicker plate blocking the slave form putting to much force behind it. WIht only a scratch,t eh draconic dwarf roared forth, the sound backing a massive headbutt aimed straight at Toffi's skull!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov managed to do at least something. It wasn't much, but a hit was hit and in this came 'damage was damage' and he'd cladly take any in order to break this wall. Any damage dealt that is, the canid was not looking to getting himself hurt in return. Not badly at least. Jumping a little back to avoid the headput, he'd be underestimating the speed that 'Mister Tin Can Colas' here posessed, but to his luck, it'd only be a small hit, kindly brushing his head instead of hurting all that much. He'd have to pay more attention, but now, with the man so close up, Christofer would seek to sink a kukri slash right onto Colas' back and send him meeting the sandy ground after that succesful hit.
  
  Colas Siegebreaker baslted otua might roar of apin this time as hte slave landed that slash clean across his back, right udner the chainmail and plate mail itself. Raking and digging in deep with that curved balde, blood gushing and the dwarf falling down to a kene and hand. The dwarf's runes flared wiht white light, the trail along his eyes turning intoa thick smoke as the voice of the dwarf balred out fully, "Hells, finally! This is change!" Raw excitement, and battle-lust, the rage foa dwarven berserker busting to the surface. The dwarf whirled around, slamin his tail on the ground and using it as aspring to launch himself at Toffi. Full bore charge, wings slamming at the air to propell him faster. Looking to grab the slave's arm and carry him forwards, whipping him around as he got close to a wall and hopefully planting him straight into it!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov landed a rather nice blow to the man's back, getting through that armor and slicing in good, seemingly only adding fuel to the fire with the man and making him more and more exited for the fight. A counter-attack lashed out at him, powerful strike incoming, wings and all, he'd only barely manage to step away from it, spinning and following that up with striking a cut at the man's middle part as Colas was passing him. "It would be nice to dance with you, Mister, but I can't afford for you to hit me again." Christofer would seek to end the fight soon if it was to get too out of hand.
  
  Colas Siegebreaker would certainly be ended as he balsted by! The slave's kukri cut perfectly, dancing under hsi polate armor with the expertise of an assassin. The cut threw him off blance, dipping down in mid flight as pain racked his body and he slammed into tehw all, shuddering the entire fucking arena with all that weight and steel hitting the stone wall. It cracke the large sotne blocks that made it up and he fell to the floor with another thoom. Blood oozed around him, forming a puddle that dyed the sands red. Oh he eventually struggled to right himself, but the glow was gone form eyes and runes, and he was breathing deeply. But he was grinning so very, very wildly as he ahd to pick himself up from the floor. "Yes!" He roared, wings flaring out, and eyes narrowed down to stare right at the slave. "Yes! Yes yes!" He came up towards the slave looking to vigorously shake the lad's paws, "Your the bloddy fucking first to slice me up like that, not just beat me down raw. Can you drink? I'm making you a new drink. Fucking bloody fantastic!" Dwarf was on cloud nine, and bleeding out nine-pints of blood.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov, for a moment saw it as if they'd have 'tied' somehow. That kukri blade sliding across the armor until finally reaching a spot to slice. The speed that the hit met its moving mark added in to the damage, making it so that no follow-up strikes were needed. Good on them, they'd get away with less overall cuts. He stood ready even when Colas collided with the wall, sending some resonating shivers along his feet and back and the canid would be assured that Colas wasn't looking to continue the match any longer. "Sir, are you alright?" Head tilted slightly, but it seemed that the question was unnecessary. Fur on his shoulders rose up and he took a step back, dropping his weapons as his hands were clasped. Expression surprised to say the least. "I, umm... Slaves aren't supposed to drink, but, I can ask my Mistress if I can accompany you for a glass or few..?" Not that he'd touch alcohol, but perhaps that'd help getting the man to leave and then to the infirmary to take care of those cuts?
  
  Colas Siegebreaker blasted outa bolsterious laughter, "Lad, I just gotta get yer MIstress some then, when I make it. What did yer papers say? Li'l Fox?" He asked after the slave's 'name'. "Tell ye what, i'll call the dirnk Big Fox, and send some to yer two Mistresses. Till then, ye keep going, that was bloody awesome!" He clapped the slav on the back before staggering off, tail used to keep him upright as he strode away towards, somewhere.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov dipped his head downwards, slightly flustered and with the attempt of covering his face in mind. Big Fox. That sounded like something very else. Embarrassinng.... But no-one would connect him with the drink, right? "U-Umm... Thank you, Sir... I'll let my Mistress' know... Take care." The blades were picked up after he waved after the man. What kind of mess this would end up being, no-one knew as of yet...

  Nayara stood in the center of the arena wearing a black two piece, exposing her muscular and scarred frame, along with leather arm guards. As always, her right hand held her damascus sword firmly giving an idle spin with it while she waited for her shared protegee Toffi to come in. The neko guided and watched most of the canid's fights and she noticed how much he improved in the last times. Today she wanted to test him again too test her skills against him.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov shook some as he got up the stairs. It was a good kind of shaking though, waking up a little bit, stretching his form, readying himself. It had been... Some time since he last fought on the arena, but not too long since he had a fight. Some bandages still covered his left arm, the whole left side almost and there was a bandaid on his cheek. Though despite that, the canid was feeling mighty fine~ His last fight might have been a group effort in defeating the imposter Santa, a little different from the usual fights he fought. Didn't matter though~ Here he was, feeling good as ever even with the bandages, fresly sharpened kukri at hands and he'd be stepping and drawing a little circle onto the sand, turning to look towards Nayara then. "I hope you're up and ready to go~"
  
  Nayara smiled as she looked at Toffi coming in holding those pair of kukri. When the canid looked towards the neko, Nayara smiled back at him while she starts to circle the canid. "I make mine your words, Toffi... Let's see how much you've improved since our last fight..." Nayara remembered after this fight, Toffi would be a 3rd Tier fighter and possibly the canid would be more dangerous than he already is. But this is for later. "Good luck and good fight." she said as she does in every single fight before she tried to lunge towards him and swing her SWORD aimed at his HIPS for a warm up.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov's good mood wouldn't be ruined right away. He definitely wanted to have a go at Nayara to see where he was at, and what better time than now? Especially with Tier 3 closing in. Yes, he was more than ready for the fight. Canid readied himself, bent his knees a little and prepared. Oh yes, the neko went for that classic cripling strike, but he'd not be sleeping, as soon as he saw the side she was going for, he knew which side he was supposed to move towards when dodging. Twisting a little, the strike of Nayara went wide and Christofer in return would seek to use Nayara's own speed from the lunge and collide one of his blades with her back, hoping to get a slice in as he moved further to get some distance.
  
  Nayara wasn't going to slash his legs and cripple him as she usually does with some opponents. She thought it would caught him by surprise as she went for his hips instead. Anyway, Toffi managed to avoid the strike by twisting around and as soon the neko noticed she missed and where Toffi was going, she quickly rolled away avoiding that slashing kukri aimed at her back before she assumed a squated position not wanting to give Toffi a moment to regroup, Nayara would pounce up high towards him and flipping her whole body when she's above the canid she would try to slash her SWORD aimed at one of his SHOULDERS before she lands on her feet and turns around to face him again.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had managed to gain some ground between them though. With his stike having missed the bronze feline, it didn't all go just as planned, but at least there was no slowing down by blade stuck on flesh. Just enough time for him to get the extra distance needed to avoid the follow-up strike. He was smiling though. Hopefully the arm stayed pointed forward enough for him to smack it with his own blade, hoping to score a disarm while he still could~
  
  Nayara missed again her overshoulder strike receiving another proof on how much Toffi had improved as a fighter. But not only that, but Toffi managed to slice her arm underneath her leather armguard before the neko even touched the ground again forcing a hiss to come out from her mouth. That was a really good strike... Just a bit deeper and Toffi would disarm her. Naya looked at her bloddy arm before she looks back at Toffi with an approving grin. Immediately after that, the neko lunged at Toffi again, now this time she's going for one of his legs, trying to THRUST her SWORD at his THIGH before she goes for a second attack by trying to SWING her sword upwards hoping to SLASH his TORSO.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was not looking to cut Nayara's arm off, just the disarming. Wasn't good enough to do the job though, the bronze feline kept her sword. Bad bad. Though he wasn't mad at her, she was more experienced, so if he'd someday manage to strike a weapon out of her arm it'd be a great achievement. But enough of that, feet were pulled out of the way of Nayara's sword as she kept on pursuing him. Boy kept his legs intact, though as usual, follow-up attacks were a little bit troubling still, but it also showed why he did not want to get hurt when it was Nayara that held the other end of the weapon. Snapping the supports for his bandages and the side was open, staining the leftover bandages with some fresh blood. A clean strike. Nasty. Got him wincing and biting his teeth with a slight grimace. He'd have to retaliate, first striking at that arm that held the sword in it, hoping to push it away so that there'd be more room for him to try and slice the neko's side. He had to score some payback.
  
  Nayara managed to land a good solid strike on his torso. Maybe the neko made the mistake in try to go for his legs as he avoided it though. After the shock in having his torso sliced up Toffi immediately fought back as fiercly as the neko. The first strike nailed firmly on her already injuried arm, forcing a yell of pain as it slashed across her strong biceps and dropping her weapon. That arm was injuried enough for the neko to keep a firm grip on her sword. As for the second strike? As Nayara tried to move away from it, Toffi's speed proved to be superior than her and the managed to slide that sharp blade deeply on ehr torso giving him another loud pained cry before Nayara finally lays down on her side, clearly defeated thanks to how severe those slices went on her. She would be dissapointed at this defeat but deep inside, she's proud to see how much Toffi improved enough to even defeat the one who trained and helped him on his arena career.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov wasn't expecting for the fight to end there, but then again, the weapons he had received were freshly sharpened and had proven to be better than he had ever hoped. Best gift ever, as well as was every single day he could spend with the neko. His last strike ever so slightly stronger than intended, the canid struck about as hard as the one teaching him. That was enough though, no more screaming and no hitting a downed enemy. "You ok?" He'd speak out from few meters away, waiting to hear if she wanted to still keep going, though he doubted it at this point. It was a little short for their usual fight, but he was still in a good mood. And it'd go back from good to great as soon as Nayara got up, if she did get up. "Need help?" To place the kukri away or not? She did not do fake outs often.
  
  Nayara keept hissing deeply as she still feel the pain of those cuts. "I'm fine.. Toffi..." she said with her teeth gritting. Angry? Far from that. "I just need some good healing now..." she continued to speak as the medical staff rushed in the arena with a stretcher. The amazonesque feline was gently put on it while some of them already treats on her sliced side while the neko looks at the canid and gives him a faint, yet pained, smile before she's carried towards the infirmary. And obviously one of the arena staff would suggest for her protegee to head towards there to be treated as well.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov would go and get himself treated as well, surely. The ripped and blooded bandages were no use on covering the burns, and the slash from Nayara would want to be stitched up. It was kinda sad that Nayara had to be taken away so soon, and he felt kinda bad for having struck so hard. Still some work to do with the kukri until he'd master them. But hey, he shouldn't feel Too bad about it. Surely Nayara appreciated him growing stronger. It was good. He'd be glad, not sad. The neko was going to be alright, but he'd allow her some rest. Chaning the bandages and ointments were going to take some time.

  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov looked and watched as the previous fighters departed, smile still on his face, he'd wave after Zika and wish for those wounds to be well taken care of. The hybrid got this, it was a good day~ Now that the field was empty though, he'd get down there himself. Full of energy and pretty healthy, he'd have to wait and see if someone else was up for a fight. An unarmed one that is, as he did not even have the chance to bring in a weapon! Silly boy. But oh well, he wouldn't mind it being unfair, his opponent could bring a weapon if they wanted, it'd be good training for him.
  
  Viro had just entered the gladiator pens for a bit of a workout, happy to have a moment to himself. Life with a baby was something he would not trade for the world, but he did still have that need for isolation and recharge, time to do his own thing and get the blood flowing. Lacking his armor and waeapons, the man was wearing but a simple pair of trousers tied up at the waist. Hands and wrists were being carefully wrapped up, a touch of padding offered in hopes of avoiding injury. Just as he squared up against a stuffed dummy, the call for a fighter came out, and the lion smiled. Unable to help himself, he negotiated a hand-to-hand agreement and stepped up into the ring. It had been months since he had last fouhgt in public eye, and it felt good to have that adrenaline bubbling up again. Spotting the fair, anxious face of Christopher, the lion fought a laugh. "You ready, then?" Dukes up!
  
  Victoria Black sighs as she takes an interest, leaning against the railing "I do hope he'll try to leave something recognizable."
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov gave some warm up pounces on the spot, boy sure had some energy to share! Today was a great day, and with the lion that had chosen to step in choosing to go duke it out unarmed... Oh yes~ "I wish you good luck and good spirit, Sir~" He did not know this man, but he thought that there was something familiar about him. Nevertheless, better not let that energy go to waste~ The call for battle was announced, and Christofer would not waste time, dashing forward, the canid attempted to close in the distance momentually, striking his own legs against Viro's, hoping to make the man trip!
  
  Viro grunted in surprise when the boy sprung right to it. Cordello moved fast, but this one was even more so! Expecting a fist, the lion clumsily dodged nothing, landing a kinck that popped his knee painfully. Spun a bit by pain and momentum, he hobbled away from the blow with a grimace of sharp pain. Getting old sucks! A test bend and shake of his leg told him it was more or less usable still, but it would surely be a limp for a week or so! Fists balled up, and Viro wove his way in carefully, trying a sharp jab for the boy's chin! If he could rattle a few stars out early, maybe he wouldn't be so spritely!
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov didn't expect for the lion to be thrown off like that. He was a fighter, right? And he wasn't fighting someone who had just stumbled their unlucky self onto the arena grounds? He sure hoped so, but boy would soon be proven that this was indeedly not the case. Viro was not a weakling. Oh boy. Turning his head to look just in case had not been a good idea, canid managed to just barly not bite his tongue as that strike hit him. And it hit hard. Eyes were closed, a yelp heard from behind the teeth that were bitten harshly against each other. Ow. Oww... He really shouldn't have turned, now he had the side of his mouth leaking blood because of it and his head was spinning. Not good. He'd have to retaliate, even if a little faticued. Swiftly, he'd move to try and strike that arm with one of his legs, looking to push it away harshly, so that his follow-up hit would then make the lion faceplant to the sands. Quickly he spun, trying to smack Viro's head with his tail. [Double ]
  
  Viro's fist connected, and the feedback he felt running up his bones, the sharp ping of pain against padded knuckles all told him that had been a true 'attitude adjuster'! Ever-cocky, the lion smirked, fighitng the urge to shake out his hand. The flying kick was met with a bit of fancy foot-n-hand work, palming the strike just enough to deflect it. This left him open, however, and no sooner had he started mounting his own attack did he find a swat against the back of his head! Off guard, off balance, he tipped forward onto that injured knee, which buckled like a mis-stpe on a trampoline! Lion went down, straight off the corner of the arena's stone wall. Stars! Feeling horribly foolish for such a clumsy re-entrance to the arena, that long-buried anger began to bubble back up, charging his spirit. "Think yer clever, uh?" he growled, forcing himself back up. Feet stepped lightly, tiny little Tp tp tp!'s along the floor. Lion bore down on the boy and delivered a vicious one-two of his own! Fist went first, seeking the diaphragm just below the ribs, then a leg came in for a sweep to kick his feet out from under him! [e] [Double]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov's jaw was certainly one of his weak spots. It seemed that if he got hit on that spot, it'd almost always hurt, a lot. Canid would be lucky if he'd manage to avoid it being dislocated, not that he liked the fact that he had been hit and it was already bleeding and the feeling was burning him up. Adrenaline kept most of the pain on the background though. He was still smiling, somewhat. But for how long, that'd have to be seen. But he'd not stick around to wait for Viro to maul him, swiftly jumping back and using the small size of his to twist out of the way. It was a close call, but sometimes being small was helpful. The second attempt was succesful, however, sending the canid off balance and he'd land on his shoulder. Not a good dodge, follow-up attacks still caught him a little off-guard. Coughing, giving the arena floor some splattered polka dots, he'd try staying low, leaping towards the lion and attempting to slam his upper back against the already injured legs. The mighty shall fall!
  
  Viro was hitting far more air than he cared to, and his knee was certainly slowing him down. His luck, it was a torn meniscus, and tomorrow would be absolute agony. Growling in frustration at his misses and train of thought, he left himself open to yet another taste of the canine's speed. With another loud crack, a second stroke came to his leg, and this one pulled a snarl of pain from him. Dropping down to hands and his one good knee, the other leg hung limp. Sweat formed at the lion's brow, terrified it was broken. "Alright, that.... that's enough, ya quick lil shit." he said, though there was a note of amusement in his voice as he said it. Rolling slightly, he plopped down on his rump right there on the arena floor, hands moving in to rub at the injred leg, inspecting. "Don't ever get old, alright?" he joked. Slowly, carefully, he worked himself back upright. No weight was put on the leg, but he did offer a hand to his opponent. "Viro. What's your name?"
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov the cannon ball! Oh please no. Bad memories from last summer. But it seemed that this time speed could earn him the game, managing to gain enough momentum and force behind his whole self had worked. Worked so well that there was a nasty sound that had him wincing, and as the mighty did indeed fall, boy would stay on his side on the sand, ears lay flat and he'd listen to the words of yielding before slowly pushing himself up. He might have found the comment on age humoring, but the crack echoed in his star filled head. "S-Sir..? Are you ok?" Few steps made over to the lion, he'd bend over slightly to see the damage, ready to aid the man on getting up of it was needed. He gave a nod as the lion introdouced himself. "You fought well, you are strong." A little good spirited flattery. "I'm Christofer-!" The last part delivered with a yelp under his breath and a wince. Viro was strong alright. His jaw was hurting. Hand sought to press against it and get itself red. The boy was hurting a ton, especially now that he had nothing to put his mind into to work out the adrenaline that was fading. But even still, pained and all, he'd shoot a smile at the lion, small as it was. "We... Ummh... Shhould go... To thhe infirrrmary. Gettt thhat checkked onn..." Bah. Boy might have sounded a little slurry and blurry, but he'd rather do that and hold his jaw rather than deal with the paranoia of it somehow falling off. [<<]
  
  Victoria Black clucked her tongue as she shook her head with a smile. The vixen slipped to her feet to follow, tail swishing behind every step.
  
  Viro reached out and would give a firm handshake if reciprocated. A small, throaty laugh of amusement came at the suggestion of the infirmary. "I don't... not really a fan of the care, tehre, so I-" The smallest bit of weight on his injured leg offered proper protest to what he was declining, and sharp pain made for a hell of a decision-changer. "...infirmary, eh? Probably couldn't hurt more than those feet of yours, knockin' around my joints like that. Sure, why not?" At the very least, he's probably get a good bit of pain killers. Nefari wwas going to be livid, naturally, but... boys will be boys! "Do me a favor, grab me one of the training stick things from inside?" If he got one, he'd use it as a makeshift crutch to hobble his ass off towards the infrim.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov gave a nod, making his way on his slightly wobbly feet and dizzy head, fetching the requested object for the lion. He'd be more than happy to help the lion walk to the infirmary, but the pain on his jaw was also increasing steadily... Well, it was a good day still~ [Quick Exit~]

  Arvex Galerian slowly made his way up the stairs towards the arena, keeping a firm grip on the hilt of his sword, though he didn't draw it just yet. Since his last battle had ended in a rather frustrating defeat, Arvex was eager to make up for it this time. The hellhound started slowly pacing around the arena, keeping his eyes fixed on the great stone archway as he waited for his opponent to make his appearance.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov arrived onto the arena, fresh out of a bath. However, the purple color his Mistress had bestowed upon him via magic would not fade or go anywhere. Was he going to be taken seriously like this? Hardly, but if that was to be the case, he might as well use it to his advantage, if he could. With both his kukri held at ready, the canid settled to his side of the pit. "I've been looking to fight you ever since I saw you fight in the event Nayara hosted." Canid gave a smile, however, unsure if Arvex would even recognize him. The medical aid that evening had not been purple. And what, medical aid? Could he fight at all? Catching the opponent by surprise was going to be his little trick card today~
  
  Arvex Galerian was rather puzzled when a purple-furred canine suddenly appeared at the top of the stairs. It took the hellhound a moment to recognize Toffi by his voice. "Toffi? Is that you? You're looking awfully... purple today," Arvex said, caught slightly off guard for a moment. "Well, it seems you are about to get your wish. I hope you're ready for this." Fortunately, he quickly regained his composure and drew his sword, clutching it firmly in both hands. It had been a while since he'd faced off against someone who wielded two weapons at once. Pausing only for a moment to steady himself, the hellhound charged at Toffi, trying to slip his blade through the canine's defenses and stab him right in the gut.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov rubbed his palm against his muzzle, hiding some of that smile under it. Oh he was already recognized. Good bye to that trick card~ "Good luck, Mister Arvex." Let that feeling and being put off linger for a moment. This was a fight, not a comedy show, even if he'd want for those that gathered to have a good time as well. He'd also like to keep himself in good shape. Arvex charging forward had him prepare, before grabbing one of his kukri, sidestepping out of the hellhound's way and aiming to leave a nice cut on Arvex's side in passing.
  
  Arvex Galerian found himself stumbling right past Toffi, the purple canine easily sidestepping out of the hellhound's way. Before Arvex could react, Toffi had slashed right across his side and cut him right open. Arvex hissed in pain as blood began to trickle down his side, but quickly steadied himself again. Realizing that two blades might be a bit too much for him to handle, Arvex raised his sword high over his head and aimed to bring it crashing down on Toffi's right arm, hoping this would persuade him to drop his kukris, even if just for a short time. [disarm]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov managed the firstblood of the fight. Excellent~ However, the fight was far from being over, he'd have to catch the hound a few more times before he'd be able to ease up. He shouldn't be taking Arvex lightly. There was always something new that came with each opponent. The hellhound would be proving this by raising his blade above his head. What? Canid was slightly taken a back due to this, causing for Arvex to score a clean cut on his arm until he had the chance to gain enough distance. The damage dealt was just about as bad as the cut he had scored before, drawing blood from the cut, but not enough to make him drop his weapon. Indeed, not someone to be taken lightly. But with Arvex now having scored a hit, he'd find the canid getting more serious. Quickly closing the distance between the two fighters again, Toffi attempted on scring another slice onto Arvex's side, and whether his blade connected or not, his back would find his other blade sliding to meet the other. [ Double ]
  
  Arvex Galerian was a little too slow to hit Toffi, and while he managed to score a cut on the canine's arm, it wasn't nearly enough to disarm him. What was worse, he'd left himself completely open for Toffi to strike back at him, digging one of his kukri's deep into the hellhound's side and leaving another wound there. Fortunately, Arvex was able to twist himself out of the way of the canid's next attack, but only just barely. He needed to put some space between him and his opponent, and fast. He swung his sword upwards towards Toffi's arm again, trying to persuade the canine to back off. Whether or not that succeeded, Arvex would follow that attack up by swinging low, aiming to slam his sword into Toffi's legs and knock him to the ground. [Double!]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was doing ok, but there was starting to be something noteworthy on his movement. Catching sand on his wet fur was going to help him camouflage, but it also hindered him, slowing down his movement just enough for Arvex to avoid that second blade and go in for a retaliation. And he would yelp, that hit onto his arm was enough to make him lose grip of one his weapons. This wasn't going so good anymore, he'd have to catch himself, though with his eyes following the lost weapon, Arvex had an opening to strike him yet again. Floof. Not a nice landing, right onto his back as he now had more blood coming from that arm of his and now also a leg with a bad wound on it. Biting his teeth together, Christofer couldn't allow himself to be caught anymore. Hastily gathering himself, he sprang up and attempted to partly ram his blade against Arvex's chest, hopefully pushing the man far away enough to get him enough time to regroup with his other blade.
  
  Arvex Galerian unleashed a flurry of blows against Toffi, finally forcing the canid to drop one of his kukris. Before he could go and recover it, though, the hellhound stuck again, knocking his opponent to the ground. Before he could move in to finish the fight, however, Toffi proved that he still had some strength left in him, as he sprang to his feet and rammed his other blade into the hellhound's chest. That was enough to send Arvex staggering backwards for a moment. But only for a moment, as he could sense an opportunity to end this fight right now. With Toffi moving to recover his weapon, Arvex raised his sword high once again, then sent his blade crashing down onto the canid's backside.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov indeed had some fighting left on him. Managing to gain the distance after this attempt at pushing Arvex away was crusial, and it had worked. It was not surprise that the hellhound would soon be back after his tail though, so with a quick dive to retrieve his weapon, he managed to dodge the strike made to hit his back. Not a chance now boy. Making his way swiftly to the hound's side, he sprang upwards, using the strength of the not injured leg and the not injured hand to try and send Arvex a little further upwards, the curve at the end of the kukri that'd dig onto the wound he made at the start onto that side would then send the man away from him. If only he'd be succesful.
  
  Arvex Galerian sent his blade crashing straight into the ground, missing Toffi entirely. Before he could pull his sword back up again, the canid suddenly leapt up at him, kicking him right in the side. Before Arvex knew what was happening, Toffi had driven his kukri right into the wound he'd created earlier and torn it wide open. It was too much for the hellhound, he was losing too much blood. Instead of sending Arvex away from Toffi, the hellhound instead ended up collapsing on his side in a heap. "Augh...." he groaned, dropping his sword helplessly. "Enough. I yield. Argh..." He wasn't sure he'd have the strength to stand back up right away, and so all he could do was look up at his opponent weakly.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov landed onto one knee and one foot after the strike he had managed, wincing as sand got into the wound Arvex had carved earlier. It wouldn't have taken much more than another similar hit and he'd have been the one downed, unable to stand on his legs. However, as fortune would have it, no more strikes came after him and he'd find the helhound not getting back up to pick up his blades. He huffed, sheated his gifted blades and brushed sand off his fur before libing his way towards the other canid being. "Sir, you fought well, withstanding those strikes against your side." The wound he had left just now looked nasty though. "You deserve some well earned rest. Sir, I will... Aid you to the infirmary, and send one of my fellows to retrive your blades and deliver them to you." A smile was offered, as well as the still healthy hand as he leaned forward to try and aid the man. "It was a good fight~"
  
  Arvex Galerian finally gained the strength to lift himself up on one hand, but he was still weak and wobbly. The sooner he got to the infirmary, the better. "So did you," the hellhound replied slowly. "I wasn't aware you were... you were this good in the arena. I may have to keep an eye on you... ugh... in the future." Toffi's offer of assistance was met with a nod, and he reached out to take the canid's hand and pull himself to his feet. He would need a little support getting out of the arena tonight, though all told, these weren't the worst wounds he'd ever suffered. "Let's go," the hellhound said, before slowly making his way back down the stairs.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov had still managed to catch the other by surprise. The trick card came through~ Even still that wound looked very nasty, and the wince his leg gave him was only made worse at the sight. "Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it. But you need that cleaned right away." And so did his wounds need managing, but Arvex gained the priority here. Giving the hellhound what support he himself could manage, the man was aided off the arena, and towards the infirmary, teeth pressed against each other whenever he took a step on that wounded leg. It was painful, but he'd manage for the good of the other man. It was a victory to Arvex to see his own strikes having an effect though~

  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov came in, stretching his legs and arms, some of his back too and all that good stuff. Had been quite the morning, perhaps a little tiring at points, but sure had gotten him awake. Kukri were spun out of their sheats, placed back again and then taken off once more. No slipping, supposedly he was ready. The wounds from his last fight were still faintly present under those bandages, but they didn't hurt, nor would he let them get on his way. Settling near the furthest wall of the arena, he'd turn and stand ready for his Mistress to walk in.
  
  Zika Swifthoof strode out in a shimmering white dress with golden chain wrapepd around the waist and hir throat. Cathicng the light of the setting sun, as much as the hard steel of hir massive guandao, "First fight dear, show me what you can do with those gifts." Head was shimmering itself with a bright smile, as the massive polearm was swung around and shi settled into a calm, but solid stance.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov gave a suspicious look to the hybrid. "What do you mean 'first' Mistress?" They had fought before, with him using the kukri even. Right? Or was it for the fact that Zika was actually wearing some clothes now? Well, he'd have to see what shi meant. Or perhaps it was a distraction. "I'll give it my best, Mistress. Hopefully you are ready~" And what a way to test if the hybrid was indeed ready, the canid moved in close quickly, kukri held firmly in both hands as he jumped upwards and attempted to place a deep set of slashes onto hir arm. Perhaps it'd be enough to disarm hir if shi wasn't quite ready and awake?
  
  Zika Swifthoof gave a soft chuckle, "First true fight, when we're both at our best so to speak." Shi clarified, until giving a nod that shi was indeed ready. His quickness was expected, shi was his Mistress after all. The herm slipped with grace to the right as he went sailing by, as if he were the one moving in slwo motion. Two swift strikes, one chop at his arms, looking to disarm him as he'd tried to do to hir. And a follow up slice at his legs, looking to trip him up and make him fall flat on his face all in one fluid go. [Double, first disarm attempt]
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov gave a quick short piece of thought at that. At their best, hmmm? What are you onto with that? Well, we'll see about that. His first attempt came to show that the hybrid was as ready as shi spoke, dodging that first rushing attempt. Too bad it left him open and the guandao managed to catch a slice of his arm, ripping those bandages off his arm and leaving a line of red in its wake. Not enough to let go of his blades though. And second hit this fast? He was more focused on making sure the stitches were not harmed, and then shi sought to smack the pole weapon against his legs. Hit the target, but he was quick enough to block the worst by moving his healthier leg on the way of the strike. Landing onto the ground, canid sought to get a hit in himself, getting up quickly and making distance to the hybrid, but attempting to slice up across hir legs as he did this.
  
  Zika Swifthoof seemed to be one with the wind, at least for now, as the canine sliced at hir legs. Shi simply slipped backwards right out of his reach and aimed a horizontal slice at his left side. The white dress flowed around hir as if it were an extension of the sun's rays, rippling with gleaming lights as shi faught.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was seemingly not at his best even if Zika had so stated. Hmmm, poor luck. But he was warming up, albeit slowly, but just enough to barely avoid being cut again. He couldn't literally feel the pole weapon touching the fur at his side, but he felt its precense as he slipped past it. And it was there, and he'd swiftly take a hold of it to turn himself around. A leap to move to Zika's back and slice hir side was then made. Turning the tables hopefully, if not the hybrid.
  
  Zika Swifthoof found hir blade barely missing him, though he was quite to rebuttle her with a rahter nasty looking slice at hir side. Hir weapon flashed to the left, meeting the oncoming Kurki and deflecting the blow by just a hair's-breadth. Grinning as shi dove forwards, the rush of a good battle was claiming the retired fighter. Taking grip near the base of the blade of hir polearm, shi sought to slam the flat of the huge blade agianst hir slave's chest, and hopefully send him flying backwards.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov was going to have to destroy that dress, unfortunately. Had shi enchanted it somehow? Was the white fabric against sunlight too bright for him to hit? Poor luck poor luck. Get a hold of yourself boy! The canid managed to dodge the follow-up strike better than the last one, no strikes on his chest. But he had to use this opening. Hoping to be quick enough to circle to the hybrid's back, he'd aim a strike right across it, and hopefully if it was painful enough, he'd have a more clear chance of making another slash at hir chest instead. [ Double ]
  
  Zika Swifthoof found that hir boy had finally found his stones! The slave was upon hir with two very quick slices. The first upon hir back, the second upon hir chest. They didn't debilitate hir, but they were certainly enough to garner a dual splashes of blood across hir dres and the arena floor below hir. Zika rushed forwards with an extra burst of stamina, quickly leaping and spinning around in the air. Comign to a skidding halt with hir hooves slamming into the sand to slow hir down. With some distance between them, the woman's mane fell over hir eyes, a snorting, heavy breathing now as shi'd inally took damage. Now, the fight was truely on. Shi balsted forth, pouring on the aggression and stampeding towards the slave, blade swiping low to cut at his legs.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov finally scored at least some damage onto the hybrid. Finally~ Got a smile out of him. He hadn't gotten rusty just yet. Zika seemed not too ready to give the lead to him just yet though, getting up on that intimidation factor. The length of the guandao managed to catch him a little by surprise, but only barely. Shi managed to catch him off balance, and knock him off his feet as the sand bellow was slippery, but no massive damage was dealt. He barely felt that one. Reacting quickly, canid took one of his smaller knives that the hybrid had given him along with the kukri and threw one of them to hopefully score some additional damage onto that chest wound while he made his escape.
  
  Zika Swifthoof fouind hri blade only jsut abrely connecting. Enough to knock him to his face, but only jsut abrely knicking him. Howevre, that sneaky foxy managed to level one hell fo a throw at hir as he went down. A pained whinny went out from the hybrid as that knife went straight into the wound and stuck there. Shi stumbled a moment down onto one knee,, blood oozing from hir chest now. With a heated breath, shi ripped the knife from hir chest and tossed it to the side. "Fuck, li'l fox. Your good with those knives." Complimenting him in the middle of the fight, shi was surprised! Surprised, but not beaten, for shi rose to hir feet and swung the guandao in a diagonal slash at his his nearest limbs, likely his arms.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov struck again! The tables were turning. Slowly, but they were at that point. Canid managed to get on his feet and gained just enough distance to avoid the next swing made at him. He could feel the air following that strike. It would have hurt if that hit him. But he was quick enough this time, turning only when he was at the clear, with a little 'present'. "Thank you, Mistress. Would you like another one?" He did have more than one of those knives afterall. And as he turned, he'd be sending one right at the hybrid again, looking to perhaps cut hir side and the dress that shi was wearing. He was making more work for himself later if Zika wanted to still wear that dress.
  
  Zika Swifthoof let outa snarling hiss as that knife weither shi wanted it or not slice right into hir. Slamming hir hooves down to stop hirself from falling down again. The hybrid's breathing raced for a moment.. before shi puased and hir whole body went lax. The guandao was still held up, but hir breahting was forced down and shi let the frustration roll out with hir breaths. "Ever improving, thats why i'm proud of you, and proud to own you Christofer Markov." First time shi'd ever used his full name, shi must have been impressed. Not going to give anything less than hir all, shi danced forwards once more. A heavy slice aimed at his right leg, closer to the footpaw, looking cto cut down his speed as shi kept moving. Circling the slave now, a smile upon hir maw.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov couldn't be happier - or yes, he could. On hearing his actual name being spoken out, the canid was smiling plenty, even if he'd have preferred to not having been in need of cutting his Mistress up to hear those words. As shi came forth once again, he knew those steps. Who had been practising dancing with the hybrid? He was~ And so as the blade of the pole came down, the canid took a side step and let it eat the sand. Stepping on the pole then, he'd use it as a slight leverage to reach for Zika's arms better, striking at them with his kukri again.
  
  Zika Swifthoof let lose a blsitering snarl as the slave's kurki came slashing across hir arms merceliessly. The hybrid's gaudnao came down in a resounding twang as it dug into the stone beneath the sand. Breathing redoubling again, blood rushed out from hir scaled arm at an alarming rate, as did the doubly ripped open wound in hir chest, coating the lower half of hir dress red. "Rrng, enough. You win." Yeah, shi needed to get this bleeding stopped. A smile was thrown at him, as the Mistress attempted to meet the oncoming medics, using hir guandao as a walking stick. However, there was a sense of pride in hir at hir slave.
  
  Christofer 'Toffi' Markov scored another victory onto that board. Oh yes. 7th one in a row was this? Or just 6th? Well, count it as 6th, he wasn't proud for beating up his Mistress, but he was proud of the hybrid hirself. And a little winning at the side couldn't hurt or harm, right~? Though celebrating for later, maybe some cake, it'd be good for these two to head out to get patched up. The stitches at his arm were not quite open, but Zika had been close. Some extra stitching to be done though, hmm? The thrown knives were picked up and placed away, as were the kukri and he'd then make his way after the hybrid. "This was a great match~ You think you wouldn't mind a treat for yourself afterwards, Mistress?" Try and not think of the pain, think of sweet stuff instead~
  
  Zika Swifthoof gave a soft chuckle at hir slave as a few medics had raced out and now were helping hir limp back inside. "SOmething sweet sounds good, guess i'll just have to eat you." Nope, not to injured for naughty, horribly bad puns!
