History

The mountain had always been cold. Even as spring came, only some green could be seen at the very edges. Her kind where a rare sight on those icy peaks. Its not there where so few.. just hard to see. In the beginning there had been lots of them fluttering about the clouds and in the snow. But as the centuries passed, fewer and fewer where born or left to find other peaks of their own. Urara couldnt remember there ever being many on the mountain range. She was a only hatchling, so playtime was left up to her parents to fill in till a few more hatchlings came around.

Growing up, she rarely left the mountains. More afraid then anything. Stories from the elders of hunters and trappers had always kept the young ones from roaming off. Ura would sometimes make her way down to the very edge, where grass met snow and just watch the forest below. So tempted to just.. take one more step and feel grass. But after a while, she'd make her way back up the mountain and hide under a parents wing.

But there comes a time when one must spread their own wings. She wanted to see the world.. to explore more then just the mountains. With good byes, she set out. Flying higher and farther then she had ever before. Eyeing the ground as she watched new lands come into view.
