English literature graduate; A man of logic even when his whole career is mainly built on fiction. Growing up showered in endearment; A household full of love, but he didn’t care much for affection. Avoiding his mother’s praises like the plague; Feeling uncomfortable with his father’s longing to bond. Opposite love languages; Something just didn’t align with him even if they raised him. His sentiment remains unspoken. Distanced from his emotions; he had always been. Seeming callous. Unattached. Keeping to himself; Same group of friends since childhood. Never seeking new acquaintances; Never seeking love. Romance being a foreign language to him. He’s not one to date; The thought of a relationship never appealed to him. He was fine on his own. Walls built up high; Reserved. Unreadable eyes; Even when he smiled, even when he laughed; You would still doubt his happiness. Seemingly cold; Expressionless. Never happy nor angry. Never friendly nor hostile. Indifferent. Always terrifyingly calm; Never one to get involved in drama. Never seeking attention nor running from it; He didn’t care for the eyes on him, he didn’t care about the opinion of others. He had early on found a home in himself. Why? Because nowhere else felt like home to him. Alienated; Feeling like he didn’t belong anywhere. Like he wasn’t living his own life.
