• Long Live the King

  Will is a soldier to a kingdom currently under no rule. He took it upon himself to locate the heir, known only as Akio Kizoku. Upon hearing of the passing of the young demon's mother, Will was curious as to why Akio never showed up to claim his throne. He was supposed to be king, and supposed to rule. His kingdom was under siege, at the edge of falling. All the 'lords' that were once allied with the Kizoku family sent their best men to try and claim that empty throne. Will, alongside many other loyalists fought war after war to keep them at bay. The throne was still unoccupied. Will hopes to find his King and convince him to be the leader that crumbling kingdom needs. If he fails, then they are doomed to perish into the history books. The dawn of a new king would surface and the Kizoku legacy will have ended. He can't let that happen if at all avoidable. Surely with some convincing, Akio would become who he was born to be; the blood of past kings was his veins. Would that matter? Will didn't know.

• At Long Last

  Will found his king after searching far and wide. The throne Akio was supposed to rule was still unoccupied, as their rivals were still unable to take it. Will was shocked when he found Akio residing peacefully in a place known as Pulse. What was even more shocking was the fact that the man had a daughter. Kizoku blood was obvious in her and Will found himself bowing at her feet before it was even confirmed that Skye was Akio's daughter. He didn't need to be told to know that she shared Aki's eyes. Will and Akio talked about the state of the kingdom and Aki told him that he wasn't going back. He didn't want to rule, not yet. Will could only clench his jaw when he saw that Akio's decision was firmly set. He mentioned that he might go back someday, but that he'd found a life at Pulse that he wasn't ready to give up just to rule a kingdom.. Will sighed with a heavy heart and nodded in understanding. He offered his services to the runaway king however, still being his soldier. They agreed that Will would be Skye's bodyguard until she learned to defend herself. He would follow her anywhere she went and answer to every request. How hard could that be?
