Once upon a time, there was a princeps. E was the youngest of thirteen children, eir mother old for giving birth. E survived, as did eir mother, but e was a very sickly child.

And as a child, e died.

Forbidden, dark magics were used. Morality and legality were both forgone in the hopes of saving the princeps. It worked, but not without great cost.

The princeps hated the injustice in eir country, but hated the civil war that erupted even more. E tried to save both sides, but in the end, e was punished for the circumstances of eir birth.

It has been many years since then. The princeps managed to survive.
