• Description

  Standing at a height of 6'2" with a few extra inches provided by a tall, onyx-leather tricorn over his black hair; Herr Zeres van Falkenaug wears clothing heavily remeniscent of a sea-captain. His black hair covers a great portion of the left side his face, stopping short of his shoulder. Narrow, piercing silver eyes seem of mixed nature between a cat and a falcon, granting him nearly unmatched talents of observation. A black vandyke, neatly kempt, gives his face some intellectual qualities, starkly contrasting against his white fur.
  
  His athletic frame is first and foremost prominently clothed in a heavy black justaucorps, always fastened shut. Its trim and lining is white, well-maintained and clean, while the high collar flanks his features. Typically, the collar traps his ponytail within the coat, though he can often be found with the ponytail resting on his shoulder. His neck is wrapped by a deep-red ascot and stuffed into his coat. A trio of jet-black leather belts wrap about his form, a broader one stretching over two thinner ones and then coiling back around his waist to keep the overcoat taut against his frame. Beneath, he wears finely-tailored black trousers featuring narrow, twin stripes of white on the outter edges. His deep-brown, leather, buckled boots are scarcely visible thanks to the pantslegs.
  
  Featured on the back of his justaucorps is a sigil best-known as the "Bleeding Eye Cross" or "The Damned Jack," of which there is a rolled-upward eye positioned near the top of an overturned Gothic cross.
  
  Finally, to discourage belief in his true nature as a vampire, there is a thick "silver" ring pierced through his left ear. A thing which the superstitious -- and sometimes many of the "knowledgeable" -- mistake for a weakness amongst vampires.

• Biography

  Preciously little is known about Herr Zeres van Falkenaug. That's the way he likes to keep it. Through sharp-witted manipulation of others, Zeres has spread a great deal of misinformation -- not only about himself -- but also about the nature and weaknesses of vampires. This, along with a borderline sociopathic outlook (viewing all things in an objective light), the vampire has endured for well over two hundred years. He has gone so far as to "father" an entire lineage of false heirs for the benefit of the Falkenaug name.
  
  Originating in Alemanish territory, the noble house of Falkenaug climbed to power with the famous Falkraiders, dark-armored riders mounted on the backs of enormous birds-of-prey. Although House Falkenaug primarily served as scouts for the raiders, their expertise earned them the gratitude of higher halls and came with land-grants. This is largely where the publicly known knowledge of House Falkenaug ends.
