• Description

  Andreas Blanche - more commonly referred to by his surname alone - is a mysterious tailor residing in Bedrick. He owns a standard shop there that doesn't seem to stick out. While the building is small, old, and worn like most others, he keeps the interior very tidy, complete with the unmistakable scent of herbs that he keeps stored there to promote good health. Mannequins are on display through windows at the front to show off his work. However, the feature that brings life to the dark place is Blanche himself.
  
  His build is quite skinny, and he is moderately tall, but this is not obvious at first due to his visibly poor posture from working over a desk through the years. His hair, straight and black, is long enough to reach the end of his spine. He prefers to keep it tied back with a purple ribbon. Seldom does he wear something that he hasn't created himself; most often, he wears a black trench coat, fitted perfectly to his size. He has rather androgynous features and smooth, clear skin which he takes pride in.
  
  Blanche was once bitten by a plagued creature and became infected in his right leg, which was amputated below the knee and cauterized. Black scars have been left behind at the removal site from the chemicals used to prevent further spreading of the infection. Otherwise, he uses a prosthetic and keeps it hidden when possible. He can be seen twitching and shaking at most times. This is the result of neurological issues and is not under his control.

• Personality

  Blanche is an eccentric and a romantic to the very core - everything he does is drenched in bizarre ideals. He places high value on beauty and aesthetics above all else, and as a result, he tends to come off a bit inappropriate, no matter the situation. The things he seems to admire the most are those which are dark, grotesque, and unpleasing to any other person, but this is only apparent because he is able to find beauty in nearly everything.
  
  He is known for having a charming, yet slightly uncomfortable presence to those who aren't familiar with him. Blanche is so absorbed by his own spontaneity that he tends not to notice when he's crossed lines, and it can take him a little while to catch on when the reality of things aren't directly spelled out for him. He really does mean well; he even gets frustrated when he's unable to express his perspective because he believes all people would benefit from a similar mindset.
  
  Despite having such an attention-grabbing aura, Blanche can be a bit reserved. His mannerisms are ominous and precise, and rarely does he say something that makes sense without further explanation, which would have to be coaxed from him to begin with. He is quite confident in the way he conducts himself, though it looks awkward and dramatic from an outside perspective. The way he behaves is not unlike an actor in a huge, elaborate performance.
  
  He's the type who is oblivious to others' concerns, and will often pick a person of interest - usually someone he deems as beautiful or resourceful - to accommodate his wishes for the time being, should he feel inspired to. He is not rude or demanding, but rather excitable and charismatic. He happens to have just too little self-discipline to control it.
