  The Shalanor. That was what my tribe of Moon Fey were known by. It means "Protector" In Sylvan. And my people lived up to that name well. Across the land there were many other tribes of Moon Fey, all with one job. Protecting the area's portal into the Fey Wild. The Shalanor tribe was made of mostly female Moon Fey. We were archers. Strategist. And Worshipers of the God of Nature; Silvanus ( http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Silvanus ) From the moment you were born, you were trained to fight. To be light on your feet, accurate with a bow, smart with design of weapons, and most importantly, to protect nature and the Fey Wild. We did this for centuries, creating a city around the portal. We called this city; Shay'ton'neth. It protected the continents most northern portal... That is... Until 'They' Attacked..
  They came in the dusk of morning. Before we knew we were under attack, our guards women had been slain at our Wall. Our alarms silenced before they could send the call.. They breached our homes and killed us. It was a slaughter. We fought back the best we could.. But.. We didn't last. I held my mate as she lay dying in my arms, she sustained the wounds protecting me in my sleep. I watched the light fade from her eyes as she choked on her final words.. "Run... My.. Force of Nature... Survive..." She handed me her gem necklace before she went limp in my arms..
  Of course... I didn't flee.. Not right away... Taken in by my rage, I fought to protect Shay'ton'neth. But.. When the commander of this raid held up the head of our Headmistress.. I knew there was no hope.. I fled up the mountains, using the rising sun to blind my enemies down below until I was out of sight.. To my knowledge. No one else escaped. No one else survived. I was the lone survivor of the Shalanor. I spent weeks hiding in the mountains, begging Silvanus for an answer. But he remained silent. My people had failed in protecting the Fey Wild... When I had gotten over my grief, about a month had passed. And with determination set in my eyes, I picked up my bow and started my quest to the South. There were other Moon Fey Tribes. Three in total. I would obtain their aid, And with their armies, I will lead a raid on my home of Shay'ton'neth. I will avenge those fallen, I will keep to my peoples ways, save those I can, and leave my name in my wake... Drea my love... I will be the force of nature this plain needs.. I swear it... And so. My quest begins.
