• Description

  > A grey furred wolfess with white fur covering her muzzle, front, tail tip, arms, legs and paws. Her clothing consists of a pale cream short sleeved top with knee length shorts and brown leather cuff bracelets on her wrists. Round her neck hangs a small, diamond shaped magic pendant. • Biography

  Fell into the pet trade at the tether after a series of unusual events that she is unwilling to talk about. Over time, she went through two different owners before being turned free at the doors of the island. After getting by on menial jobs, she found passage off the island with some merchants.
  
  Once on the mainland she used some of the tricks learned from the long voyage on the merchant vessel to ply some goods and identify items of value. One such item was a "scrap" pendant that, once cleaned, proved very attractive to the wolfess. On being worn, it burned into the rear of her neck. No amount of tugging could remove the pendant, but she soon found it had some weak magical properties. With touch she could generate heat and this weak magic was sufficient to serve as a useful companion on journeys deep into the wilderness to sterilise medical tools, heat water and start campfires.
  
  She returned to the Tether this time as a trader, not as a pet. Seeking trade and possible use for her weak fire magic, her life starts again in a brief stay before her next journey into the unknown.
  
  It should be noted that the magical effects Rika holds are intentionally weak. She is a pacifist character and generally won't willingly use it to inflict injury. It is purely for utility in non-extreme situations and rather ineffective for personal defence.
  
  Of course, no-one knows how they'd react in any situation if pushed to extremes!
