• Purse of Unlimited Usefulness

  Mask
  The purse to be nothing more than your usual clutch and functions as such for most occasions despite lacking a designer label or fancy design. The clasps appear to be polished though unassuming brass while the lining is sturdy and functional rather than pretty. The strap is a thin chain made of a silvery metal done up like broken, twisted hearts.
  
  Mein
  Changelings see something much more interesting as the hardened exterior glistens the wrong way in every light. The brass is clearly alive and moving on its own twinning and twisting while waiting to be undone. The chain consists of literal beating hearts of lunar silver that fail to reflect anything except in the deepest of shadows. The interior is a hungry void of emptiness.
  
  Effect
  Upon activation, the Changeling can pull out a single Availability 1 or 2 item from purse calling out what they wish to pull forth in some obvious manner. The item in question is fully functional and generic with markings that imply some kind of supernatural nature though not protected by the Mask (example: Aspirin would be “not for intended for use by Goblins” or a gun might shoot briars from the Hedge that radiate a supernatural light). As long as the item is not meant for use in combat, it provides a +1 Equipment bonus on relevant rolls and 3 successes count as an exceptional success. The item vanishes at the end of the scene or after it is used to generate an exceptional success, whichever comes first. Oddly, the Purse cannot be used to draw out keys or lockpicking devices.
  
  Catch
  The purse takes as much as it gives and if given something may not return it. It can be activated by just putting into it something the character has borrowed with no intention of returning (cause it is gonna be eaten by the Purse).
  
  Drawback
  The Purse sometimes gets hungry and will eat something important contained within making it useful but also potentially problematic. Whenever drawing forth an item stored in the purse, the player must make an Instant action rather than a Reflexive one as they attempt to wrest it from the Purse’s gullet. Additionally, the Purse doesn’t function if it holds no items of utility to its owner at all.

• Keys of Truth

  Mask
  The keys look like nothing more than a set of rusting, archaic keys held on a ring of with red, fading paint. The keys are all mismatched and all look ancient with not a single modern one in sight. Some of the keys have symbols inscribed upon them though they are nonsense to all but Changeling eyes appearing like nothing more than intricate scroll working. The latch for the ring looks fast and made of polished brass, newer than the keys or even ring that holds it.
  
  Mein
  Changelings can see the keys for what they truly are: magic. Each key appears to be a contract of sorts though of what kind is impossible to discern. The sigils and symbols vanish when looked at closely only to reappear teasingly in one’s peripheral vision. The rust is less so and between the ancient keys are modern ones: car keys, PO Box keys, card reader keys and slips of paper with combinations scrawled in bloody ink.
  
  Effect
  While active, the keys glow with a dark, arcane light that only grows in intensity with the passing moments. Soon, they float above the Changeling’s head and situate themselves like a crown, teeth pointed to the skies. The soft glow then fades into a glimmer of light as if viewing a her head through a prismatic halo. For the remainder of the scene, the Changeling may see supernaturally hidden objects and people forcing a Clash of Wills with a +2 bonus on the roll.
  
  Additionally, she regains and retains her Defense against purely supernatural attacks and attacks made by supernatural beings she has detected (if the creature is not actively hiding consider it detected allowing her to “see” the individual in question). This power can be activated reflexively by the Changeling in response to dangers she was not anticipating as the Keys themselves detect the oncoming blow (though this precludes use of the Catch for activation).
  
  Supernatural objects and beings reveal a degree of their magic showing them through a lens similar to Mage Sight in that one can identify a general kind of magic used (such as something feels like Supernal Magic, Werewolf Essence, Vampiric Disciplines, etc). Irises, upon a successful Clash of Wills (often the rating of power normally needed to open such a portal, default 5), will reveal their nature and keys necessary to open them as well. As a fringe benefit, the wielder gains a 1 to rolls to navigate the Hedge.
  
  Catch
  Feed a key to the hungry ring without knowing and even having an inkling what is hidden behind the lock the key goes to.
  
  Drawback
  As long as the Changeling is considered the legitimate owner of the Keys even should she give them away and loan them out, she is affected as if she had the Blind Tilt (Both eyes).
