Partition

Originally created as an AI firewall/security, Partition's main function in life was meant to be a mostly non corporeal existence alongside its 'siblings' within the security program of a space colony, with only a small drone body to give him mobility. However, shortly after his upload to the system, the colony came under attack, and was evacuated. The newly created program, alone in the system and left untrained in his duty, took months to realize he even had a physical drone body.

Once he did however, he removed himself from the computer system entirely, migrating his entire self into the drone body. Eventually he managed to find his way off the colony, and into the rest of space. It's around this point that Partition gets dubbed male by the rest of the world, and since he doesn't have any preferences, he just flags the original definer and goes on.

Unfortunately, because he was never given a chance to learn exactly what is and is not suspicious activity, Partition considers pretty much anything and everything to be suspicious. As a result, he tends to 'flag' and 'block' things seemingly at random in a method that makes sense only to him; however, because he's in a physical body and the things he tends to do this to are not actual code but real life objects, Partition's method of block and flag typically tends to be yelling out 'flagged' or 'blocked' at the thing, then proceeding to ignore them--if blocked--, or continually refer to the object as [flagged] until the flag is either overturned or someone manages to convince him the thing in question doesn't need to be flagged. When referring to something that is flagged or blocked in speech, they are simply called [FLAGGED] and [BLOCKED].

As you can imagine, this makes conversation confusing.
