• Reason for Power

  Shinkai is a rather fun loving person that can backup his friends and will always try to help if he can. He does suffer from an alternate being living inside him, a Shadow Demon by the name of Mereka. She has a tight grip on his soul, but she ultimately means no harm to him or anyone else. They chat frequently, but it usually looks like Shinkai is talking to air. Mereka is the cause for his shadow abilities and his boost in magical power, inability to feel pain, and pure magic output. They work as a team to accomplish the goals of Shinkai because Mereka is supposed to be dead, but took residence in Shinkai's soul as a amplifier for his power. Shinkai is one of the most powerful Shadow Magic users to date, mainly for his mastery over it being enhanced virtually ten fold due to Mereka. Shinkai does have a vengeful soul, so anybody who messes with his peace of mind will pay a price that will normally destroy them. Shinkai himself cannot be killed, but he can be absorbed, drained, and other such things. He will be able to feel the pain from an attack that someone else has made on a person if said person as absorbed him, which will cause Shinkai to protect the person who has absorbed him.   Shinkai is a being with a rather unique ability when it come's to weapons of any type. He can pick up and use a weapon to it's full potential, infusing a bit of his own aura in the weapon to essentially bind it to himself. When Shinkai does so, it "unlocks" the weapon if it had a curse or ward on it, making the weapon's full range of power and abilities usable. Mereka will attach something similar to a rune onto the blade or main portion of the weapon, making it more susceptible to Shinkai's magic and aura becoming a catalyst for it, making the weapon deal more damage and output more magical attacks if its capable of multiple at once, or decreasing the cool-down of an ability, allowing it to be used more often.
