Evan Gipson

At the corner of a street in the most wealthy neighberhood in town, you'll find a big yellow house with a huge garden and sculptured bushes. This is where Evan Gipson han grown up and lived his whole life with his parents. The name Harold Gipson (the father of Evan Gipson) is a relatively known name, at least if you're interested in politics. Harold is a politician who's not afraid of speaking up in public. He also carries around this big dream of becoming the mayor, which is just one of the reasons why he cares about prestige. Everything has to be perfect. The wealth of the family is shown throuh proper clothes, luxurious possesions, great manners and the illusion of an idyllic family life. There's no room for mistakes, and since Harold is the father of Evan, this is something he's experienced his whole life.

Evan is a man, who doesn't at all share his dad's interest in politics. On the contrary he find it dull and exhausting. His big passion is music, and he's particular happy about jazz. He plays the piano, guitar and trumpet. He spend as much time he can on playing his instruments, as this is what he wants to do for the rest of his life. He wants to make a living from it.
His parents are not known to be very supporting of this choice of career. They accept his musical talent to a certain point, but this is primatily based on the fact, that they actually think he's good at it. They do, however, have high standards. They also prefer classical music and doesn't enjoy jazz that much.

Being the son of the very public politician, Harold Gipson, Evan usually introduce himself without mentioning his surname. Some people already know who he is, other people don't. He prefer it, when he's not recognized, as he doesn't want to talk about his father or "his perfect life".
The biggest problem about his father isn't really the fact, that he's a politician. Evan doesn't mind the occupation. The real problem is the political opinions. Evan can't seem to agree on anything, and to be quite honest, he find most of the opinions cruel.

It's funny how much influence the sexuality can have on a person's life. As a starting point he doesn't think about it too much. He's bisexual, and he's okay with that. His parents on the other hand.... that's a different story. He know that they would never understand, and they would definitely never approve. For that reason, he never told them. It is probably also the reason why he never really explored that part of himself. He's only ever dated girls, and so far he's not been lucky enough to find the love of his life. Luckily Evan is that kind of person who believes, that love will always appear when it's supposed to. He's very open minded when it comes down to gender and a person's background and occupation. That said, it's hard not to think about the fact, that his parents expects him to find someone who fits their expectations and perception of the perfect wife.

Evan is constantly looking for new challenges. He's quite adventurous, especially in the world of music. He doesn't need everything to be so damn perfect, and he often sees the beuty in the imperfect. He kind of lives to different lifes. His parents knows about his musical interests, but he don't tell them too much. He also spend a lot of time at his favorite jazz clubs.

Even though he's used to luxury, more money than he needs and shallow parents, he never grew up to be an arrogant jerk. On the contrary he's very kind, very understanding and he has a big hard. He care about people and he generally tries to find the good in everyone. He loves meeting people who differs from his usual social circle. Especialle he finds artists (of all kind) very interesting, and those are the kind of people that he loves talking to. Another important thing: He has a big love for hats. He has too many already. Other than that, he adores colorful clothes.
