Jave is a tall, quick-on-his-feet, glass of water that's a mixture of Hispanic (his father) and Native American (his mother). He's got tan skin littered in freckles swatched mostly on his shoulders and back and has a few minor scars that he'll tell you all about it asked. He takes after his father, mostly, and got his ruggedly handsome features; light-set almond eyes, astute nose, and sharp jaw-line that isn't too obnoxious. He'd have a babyface if he weren't always so covered in dust, dirt, blood; he doesn't care much about his appearance. He wears what he finds comfortable and doesn't care about how his hair looks. He packs on a fair amount of muscle from working various, strenuous jobs, and has formed a nice 6-pack and toned limbs. He's relatively hairless along his chest except for a happy trail. His fingers and rough and slender from years of work, and he's well-suited for humid, arid weather.

He's had only had two reputable horses during his years of being alive. When he was eight, he got his first stallion, Little Tiaga, who was a lazy, worthless horse if he's ever seen one. He had that horse for years, and while he abhorred its work ethic, he never sought himself selling the bastard. Unfortunately, Tiaga was already old when he had been given to Jave, so he ended up dying a few years after. He hadn't had a set-and-stone horse after that; he took what he could get, whether or not he got said horse by stealing it or buying it. None ever stuck. Until his eleventh birthday. A man he did work for had just gotten a mare that was unruly and couldn't be tamed. So, in attempts to get her off his back, he gifted her to Javier. Jave, at first, didn't think she was anything special. It was until he started trying to train her that they grew a bond. Bella dama was a feisty young mare that was known for bucking just about anyone off when they tried hopping on. She was ornery for sure, and throughout taming her, or attempting too, a multitude of people said he should just sell her.
Javier knew he wasn't going to let go of Bella, though, and continued working with her until after a whole year, she accepted him, and they've been close ever since.
Bella is a Mustang, around 7 years old, built for work/war. She has a sturdy, tall build, standing at around 16 hands. Her base coat is primarily a dark grey and she has accents of white ranging primarily on her back and along her neck up to her face. She has a signature pair of brilliant blue eyes and has a well-kept mane and tail, both a sleek black mostly left untouched asides the occasional brushing. He will sometimes braid her main and work some feathers into it just for looks. She's never birthed a foal before, or at least not to Jave's knowledge, and he doesn't plan on breeding her. Now that she's older, she has calmed, though she still isn't all that angelic. It mirrors Javier well; she's seemingly quiet and collected, though when messed with she's unruly and brave. She isn't easily spooked by gunshots, leaving her a good candidate to ride into a tussle. To others, she isn't very friendly nor easy to trust, and will only let Javier ride her. She's been with Javier for years now and he doesn't ponder about selling her off; she's here to stay, and he'll be damned if you think he doesn't love that horse. He'd put a bullet between anyone's eyes if they tried stealing her, no hesitation.

A very quiet, reserved fella who knows better than to go stick his nose in business that could get him killed. He very much likes to keep to himself, and isn't the biggest talker around, which sometimes happens to unnerve people. He has a mellow way about him, though, and is fairly chill and easy to get along with if you're respectful. He's not outwardly hostile unless you attack first, though he's not a push-over, either. A healthy balance of the two that allows him to stay neutral in most situations. What gunslinger nowadays doesn't have trust issues? Jave's stem back from when he was a teenager and he first came to the United States. He seized with his family and taken to some solider's camp where they were strung up, beaten, and he watched his mother and father get torn to shreds from a drunken firing squad. He's always been the target of racial slurs because of his skin, the languages he can speak... it used to bother him. It used to make him angry, filled with white-hot rage and ready to put a bullet into any white man that dared to slander him. It got him into a lot of trouble, and because of the way his people were treated, it made him a sort of rebellious figure fighting for the rights of his family. It's how he got into the dangerous business of being an Outlaw, though now that he's older, he has a better grasp on his anger and doesn't even give a second glance to anyone that tries to get under his skin.
At times, however, it's difficult. He really tries to stay out of trouble, keep his nose down. Try to be the sneakiest man around that will have dirt on you, ready to fire if you slipped up. You can never be too comfortable around him. He's very observant and if you don't think he's watching your every move, you're sorely mistaken. He isn't an innocent saint; he's killed, he's stolen, and he's done things to men that have fallen under the blade of his knife that he isn't too proud of. But it's for survival, and Jave will do whatever it takes to make sure he's not going to be swinging anytime soon. He very much so is independent and would rather look after himself, though he is a good candidate for joining a gang as he knows his worth, and will be a hard worker. He'll follow rules and get what needs to be done finished.
Aside from all of his issues and flaws, Javier is a pretty easy-going guy if you approach him with good intentions. If he's prompted enough or just feeling in the mood to talk, he can hold a pretty nice conversation. He can be humorous, though sometimes that lingers on the more... crude side due to his lifestyle. He enjoys drinking around a campfire with men he's ridden with just as much as the next guy. If he trusts you, you'll know it. His quiet nature may not change drastically, but by the way he'll start hanging out more, riding with a person he trusts- you'll know. Getting the young gunslinger's stamp of approval may not be easy, but in the long run, he'll be a loyal companion that'll be ready to fight by your side when called upon.
