______Well, Valencia was born a totally normal human. She was born a long time ago on the island of Klurst. She did things like help her parents with chores and the like. Everything was peaceful.
______Then, Valencias mom and dad left her alone when she was young, just packed their bags. Valencia remembers them talking about a gem of some sorts. Valencia grew sad and lonesome. She was at a loss and spent the years working odd jobs and living a fairly empty life. Then, the island was visited by an odd duo visited the island, a candyman and his best friend, a witch. Except, this witch wasn't a girl, but a boy. Valencia met them by chance while on a delivery for someone.
______The two would meet up, Valencia showing them around town,and the duo seemed very happy. All was well. The two stayed on the island for a long time, two years, and became Valencia's family. It was revealed to her that tragically, her friend, the candyman, was gravely ill and always had been. He passed away after his third year on the island. Valencia had been learning the ways of making candy from him and was devastated by his passing. However, the witch was even more devastated.
______The funeral was put together by them two and once it was all said and done, something beyond strange occurred. The witch, couldn't go on, without his beloved friend. They went home that night, and the next morning, Valencia went to check on the witch. She ended up breaking into his house and found a bunny, an empty potion vial, and a note
Dearest Valencia,
I sincerely apologize for all I have done. I Cannot live without my dear friend. So, I made a potion, and I turned myself into this rabbit you see now. I will help you to become a great candymaker, and, if you wish it, a witch as well. I can still understand you. Being a witch will allow you to telepathically communicate with me. All I need is a verbal agreement. Just say," I consent to become a witch."
And Valencia agreed, starting her path to become a witch and candymaker.
