  • Background

    Shira grew up in a small town and started learning from her mother at a young age to follow a career as a nurse. Around twelve years old her older brother started teaching her combat, sparring, and doing target practice with her when she showed interest in his practices. They mostly practiced in private, since their parents didn't approve of Shira's interest in combat. When she was fifteen her brother left to go to war, and two years later they got word that he had been killed in combat. At eighteen, instead of pursuing her parent's desired career as a nurse, she left to become a mercenary.
