  Birth
  During a calm afternoon among her mother’s chambers, the lady Aphelia Veyne was born.
  
  Age Five
  At five years of age, Aphelia was betrothed to a noble boy named Misha Falren, who she fell in love with over the course of three years. Unfortunately for her, the boy never ended up sharing the same feelings, and the young lady had given up her own feelings during the following year.
  
  Age Ten
  At the age of ten years old, at the brink of dawn, Aphelia’s most trusted friend, her lady-in-waiting, had been framed for the attempted assassination on her sister, the lady Perihelia Veyne, and was sentenced to execution during the afternoon, as well as her family. Despite Aphelia’s pleas, her mother and father had went forward with the execution. Pierced with distraught about her companion’s inevitable demise, Aphelia soon devoted herself to one goal: resurrecting her lady-in-waiting.
  
  Age Twelve
  Two years after the death of her lady-in-waiting, Aphelia’s mother gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Apsis. Despite how joyous the moment was supposed to be with the birth of her new brother, something hadn’t felt quite right about him.
  
  A few months soon passed after Apsis’s birth, and Aphelia made the decision that she needed to do something about him. With the involuntary aid of her sister’s visiting betrothed, Aphelia and Ephrit Ihirn managed to infiltrate her mother’s chambers during a midnight celebration, and abducted baby Apsis. The pair managed to escape beyond her kingdom’s walls with the baby boy, but not without someone catching eye of them.
  
  As Aphelia and Ephrit had made their getaway out of the kingdom, they were soon tangled into a guardswoman’s pursuit on them. The young lady and prince were forced to flee further out to a nearby cliff, where the guardswoman soon cornered a balancing Aphelia, who had the baby boy clutched in her hands. The guardswoman quickly yanked Apsis out of Aphelia’s arms, which nearly killed Aphelia in the process. Ephrit, in a state of panic at the situation, had pushed the guardswoman off the cliff, unknowing that the baby boy they had fled away with had plummeted with her.
  
  In the end of this turn of the events, Aphelia and Ephrit swore this incident into secrecy, and the two forced themselves to place the blame on the guardswoman that was shoved to her death.
  
  Age Fifteen
  Fifteen years into her life now, Aphelia, with a motive now altered due to previous events, began to practice the ways of wielding magic alongside her insistent sister. Despite the potential that she held, Aphelia failed to fully harness the ability to wield magic in the end. However, the knowledge and little power she gained can now come in as convenient.
  
  The young lady, shortly after her failure for magic wielding, switched her eyes over to simply studying the types of magic offered to the world, in hopes of finding a different way to utilize magic.
