• Personality

  Quiet, serious, a hard-line justice type. She doesn't take 'no' for an answer and carries herself in a way that would make anyone about to mess with her uncomfortable. Behind the tough-as-nails exterior, however, is her softer side. When she's comfortable with someone, Azra will start coming out of her shell and will occasionally crack jokes instead of heads.

  Kinetic Energy Manipulation
  
  Azra can use collected Kinetic energy by expelling it from her body to create shockwaves and pulses. She can make herself jump several feet into the air, and spurn herself forward with superhuman speed for a few seconds. She can also use it to create a temporary shield, or even charge objects with it to make it faster and more forceful when used. She carries several knives on her person for that very reason.
  
  If she is hit by blunt force, she can gather the energy expelled when she was hit and turn it back on the attacker.

• Weaknesses

  To use her powers, Azra must first create, collect, and gather enough kinetic energy to expel it. This is done through moving against force- walking, climbing, and even rubbing her fingers together (although the more strenuous the activity, the more she collects) all count toward collection. This means that if she were left unable to move, she would soon run out of energy to expel and become helpless. It also means that to keep fighting, she would need to continuously move.
  
  She's vulnerable to normal attacks, as most of her powers are focused more on the offensive than the defensive. Her shield isn't very long lasting and is essentially an invisible brick wall. It will fall quickly to strong attacks.

• Biography

  Azra was born to a small family of lower-class people, both parents working full time to even afford food. From a young age, she was expected to take care of her two-years younger sister- getting her to school on time, making sure she got dressed, and even making food (at least, whatever a seven year old could make). It was hard, but it was life, and they had food and a roof, which was all they could really ask for.
  
  Everything took a turn for the worst when Azra's mother got sick when the girl was fourteen. Unable to afford the hospital bill and too deep in debt to even ask for a loan, her father started to work himself to death, and Azra was left to try to support everyone and go to school.
  
  There were no jobs available, at least none that were....normal. Azra eventually resorted to selling her body on the streets without her father's permission, knowing that he would never approve, but too desperate for money to care much. Later on, she accepted being a test subject for experimental drugs on top of that.
  
  When she was seventeen, her fifteen-year-old sister was kidnapped by a gang in the area. Azra, desperate, rebellious, and clueless, hunted down the people that had done it and attempted to rescue her sister with no experience or backup. It didn't end well, and she was caught the moment she stepped in the door.
  
  As two of the gang members piled on top of her, however, she felt something change in her. With every blow they landed, power surged through her body, and then, all at once, it released. The two men were thrown off of her, and Azra acted on adrenaline.
  
  She was still too late, and as she held her sister's limp body in her arms, she felt nothing for the other bodies strewn around her. When the police arrived, she denied killing the thugs, claiming that a masked man had busted the place, and they believed her.
  
  From then on out, Azra became a vigilante. It didn't make money, but it it did give her a feeling of purpose. At the same time, she was dealing with the loss of both parents (her mother had died from her sickness, and her father committed suicide not a week later). She got a real job driving heavy machinery for a construction company, and moved in with her old friend from school in hopes that it would stabilize her civilian life.
  
  At night, though, she takes her grief and anger out on those who would do to others as they did to her sister. She's not going to let that happen again. Ever.
