• "I was a cat that died in a snowstorm so now I can use ice magic"

• Description

  Rin-Rime stands at an even six feet tall with a skin tone of that of a light shade of clay. Her well kept straight shoulder-length hair was ink black, silky smooth and had the faint scent of burnt incense. At the end of her two front side bangs was a square-shaped hair accessory made of silver. Her crystal blue eyes were wide and always focused on something. Her pale lips were dried and chapped. Her hands were cold and dried. She wore a grey leather deel overcoat with black fuzz around the kuffs. She wore black leather pants that slide over her brown leather boots with traces of dried mud and clay stuck on the treads. The way she moved was silent with each of her steps as if she was stalking prey. Strapped on her back she carried a worn-out hunting wooden bow and black quiver filled with Yellow-feathered arrows made with wood that was fletch by hand. Her black leather belt has a few pouches with different dried scents to them. Also strapped to her belt are two grey leather dagger sheaths each holding a hunting knife.

• Biography

  There is a small but happy family who owns a cat. Life is quiet but good. But during winter, a nor'easter comes, bringing with it the snowstorm that raced ahead. The family had to evacuate but were unfortunately forced to leave their cat who they could not find behind due to the fact that it got loose in all the panic. It was a heart-rending choice, but it was either stay or die.
  
  The family survived, and when the flurry was over, they immediately returned to look for their cat while knowing that the chances were slim. But even a body was better than nothing; at least they could have closure.
  
  But none was ever found- only the tree that sat in their back yard having been knocked down by the very winds and the weigh of the snow collected on its branches.
  
  The cat had climbed a tree in freight at the chaos of people fleeing before the snowstorm; no one had heard it call for help. It waited and waited, but no one came. The snowstorm grew stronger but it could not get down. It didn't know how with how far up it was. It blinked to get the snow out of its eyes, but something loud happened. When it opened its eyes, it was somewhere else, someplace unfamiliar. Nose to the ground, it decided to try to find its way back home, to the place that they remember.
  
  But ever since then, there have been strange happenings around the cat.
  The cat was taller. It was furless. It could walk on two legs and hold things.
  
  Oh, that's right.
  
  There was never a cat, just a sad, scary dream. But then why did she recall days spending time on the windowsill, watching the birds?

• Backstory

  From a shamanistic ritual to contact the spirits gone wrong, to a cat spirit kicking the former owner ut of it. So Rin-Rime opened her blue eye laying in the middle of a shine dedicated to the Buddhist deity Lama somewhere in Mongolia during the Stepp(Mongolian) Empire. She didn't know why she could understand them or why her mind. Learning new skills like writing was a challenge while speaking to the Mongolia shamen was an easier task. She was taught a little about rituals by the shamen at the shine. A year later she joined a clan to help provide food and supplies to her clan that adopted her. They taught her how to hunt game with a bow, they tough her how to fish, they though her how to ride and handle a horse. They taught her the nomadic way of life on the Stepps.

  Skills-
  Over the years Rim has developed a lot of human skills she needed to learn to survive her new world and life.
  She's a great hunter, she's developed a liking with archery. She knows basic wilderness first aid treatment and safety.
  
  Abilities-
  Rim has enhanced sight, smell, hear, and taste of that of a cat. The downside to this is she's far-sighted and can't read things close up. Her hearing is adjusted up a pitch to that of a cat, so sounds are different from her. Her sense of taste, well she can taste things in meat others can't but at the same time, she can't really taste sweets. She likes bitter things more than salty. Spicey is a new thing for her. She can smell prey with her nose very well.
  
  Rim has quickened reflexes and agility. Her balance is slightly enhanced, she still needs more practice to get it up to what it used to be. She's naturally quite for sneaking.
  
  Rim has an Ice Elemental ability to subtly lower the temperature in a given area. She doesn't really have the best control over as sometimes it'll happen while she's zoning out to space, sleeping or the thought of being cold. Her mood can play a factor in this as well, like if she is angry or depressed. Every so often she can cause a cold snap. She can be tricked into using her powers with her knowledge based on her belief. The people that have the most clue would be the Mongolian shamans and monks that aided her.
