Always wearing a knee-length cherry tribe dress and wrist guards. She'd never be seen without these or her signature gems & surrounding braids.

Something that really stands out about her appearance (aside from her energy glow and other traits and/or garments typical to her species) are her two gems (N'rj'll) that she consistently wears in her hair. While many Voldarians wear a similar gem, especially when they are younger, there are only few that have two. This is because of her not only getting one gem from her parnta like most Voldarians do, but also having had one passed onto her from a deceased tribe ancestor (which is not entirely unique, it's just uncommon). There is a small difference between the two gems though, as one of them is made up out of cherry and red energy in a duotone while the other is purely cherry. This is a telltale sign of it being special, given that most of the gems that are worn by Voldarians will have that signature duotone in them to represent their parnta.

It is very common for Voldarians to stop wearing their gem and instead keep it at home as they get older. While that is the standard, there are exceptions that choose to keep wearing it. This isn't seen as something childish or ridiculous though, but rather as a sign of them having really high respect for their parnta/elder. She was one of the ones that chose to keep wearing hers, and she wears them wrapped into her hair and secured by a double braid (one thin and one wide) around each gem, one located on each side of her head.

Something that can be noticed about her demeanour when she around others (especially by those that are good at picking up on details) is that she experiences the urge to turn away from trouble when it comes to trouble with other Voldarians and conflict within her community. With her work as a linegirl, she is not that worried about facing violence outside of Voldar but it's fights within her team and her surroundings back home that worry her. If you pay close attention, you can see her tensing up and her toes shifting direction until they're faced away from the problem and her upper body tends to follow that lead. This isn't as much subconscious flight as it is deliberately choosing to stay away from it and prepare to move away from the situation to keep herself from getting involved unless she absolutely has to.

Fighting and those that try to pick fights with others make her nervous, but that's not the only thing. Other things that may get a strong response or a rise out of her are people who will make decisions for someone else or instead of someone else as well as talk about how someone should be finding a mate, even if that talk is not directed at her. You'll easily catch her nervously tapping her fingers on a nearby surface or even letting out an annoyed little huff depending on the circumstances.

Zaii was born to be a warrior and grew up surrounded by other warriors. This shows strongly in her personality. She was taught to toughen up, to never back down and to keep going until she achieved her goals. From a very young age she was pushed to do well and even though her mostly secret training often allowed her to focus more than her peers, it also sometimes kept her away from those same peers in terms of friendship. She's had a very small and tightknit circle ever since her childhood and she'll easily admit that she strongly prefers it that way.

Her family is very important to her but so are her Goddess Nyva and the others that are part of Mylya tribe. She has always vowed to live life by their standards, and it has caused for her to be headstrong and resilient. Unlike her sisters, she couldn't easily be swayed when it came to enjoying silly entertainment. Instead, she kindly thanked those who offered but went on her merry way, choosing to direct her energy towards other things she deemed more useful.

As an adult and in hindsight, taking her distance from her peers like that is something she often regrets. Many of her friends dropped her as soon as they found out that Zaii's parnta were pulling her and her siblings from the arena and that she wouldn't get to officially start. She therefor feels that if she had focused on making friends and had included those outside of the arena as potential friends, she would maybe have more of them left than she does.

Only two stayed by her side throughout the century but the more successful they became in their own lives, the less often she saw them. When she took on the position of line girl, their ways separated so much that they only see each other about once a year, when all of them happen to be home at the same time.

Nowadays she gets along well with her crew but she wouldn't specifically single any of them out as a very close friend. She is sad about this but she doesn't really know how to fix it even though she really wants to. Being as hardworking and career-driven as she is on her quest to redeem some of her family's honour, she knows little else.
