Aelle and Vaeus

Apocalyptic and Beast Forms
Vaeus' Beast Form - Ranges from a common Melanistic Red Deer (Cervus elaphus) stag to a Melanistic Stag with its antlers laden with thorns and twin stars set in its irises. Ocassionally it can be seen with Black Vulture (Coragyps atratus) wings.

As Vaeus' Torment Increases that same stag form gains a skull for a head, its antlers start to shed velvet and it has glowing twin stars in place of eyes set in those dark sockets. Its shaggy body seems to drip with black ichor or oil of some kind giving it a distinctly diseased appearance. If seen with wings it appears to be molting heavily.

If called upon and granted [ Willpower roll - Difficulty 6 ] Vaeus can bestow his wings and crown of antlers onto his thrall both of which change in apperance depending on Vaeus' current Torment level.

The Lore he can call upon:
Vaeus can bestow a limited version of an Evocation the Demon himself can use. These costs more than usual: one point of Faith per dot the Evocation has. So a one-dot Evocation costs one point of Faith while a three-dot one costs three points of Faith. Using them requires a Willpower (difficulty 8) roll; this roll doubles as the roll for its effect.

Wilderness Sense: The Thrall knows exactly what kind of plants and animals are located in the area.

Bend Light: By bending the light around themselves, the Thrall can create camouflage akin to a chameleon. This is highly costly to Faith.

Tenets that Aelle is bound to uphold:

• Faith renewal at Dawn
• Aelle must rescind control of the his body whenever Vaeus wishes. Vaeus has the right to choose whether or not Aelle is conscious or unconscious during these episodes of full possession.
• Aelle must help carry out tasks when prompted by the Demon to the best of his ability.
• Aelle must never be more than three miles of distance from his Master.
• Aelle must believe Vaeus when the Demon claims someone is either an ally or enemy to the pair.

In Exchange Vaeus:

• Will help prevent Aelle from causing himself unintentional bodily harm that are a symptom of his CIP (Congenital Insensitivity to Pain.)
• Will help prevent Aelle from having harm inflicted upon him by outside forces.
• Will assist--either through word or action--Aelle in using the correct amount of force required to avoid giving unintentional injury to friendly targets.
• Will assist--either through word or action--Aelle in using the correct amount of force required to inflict injury to an enemy targets.

The Demon Immunity Aelle has chosen to inherent is Immunity to Mind Control with the success rate being determined by a roll of Willpower.
