Description

Melkein is an angler merman. Common for the angler fish males to be very small and frail, Melkein is thin in frame and tail. He has a very bland brown and black color palette for his scales that reach up to his mid drift. From there he has a brown fin along his spine that flairs when he’s scared. He has webbed fingers with little claws at the end to try and help him at the sea floor. His eyes are very sensitive so he wears round goggles he found from a shipwreck which makes his eyes look even bigger. His messy hair is shaped with a piece in front that kind of curls a little to mimic a female angler’s so he can hide better if others assume he’s just as dangerous as the female counterparts.

When he takes a more human form if ever out of the water long enough, he’s an average looking man with his eyes being the biggest features. Since he’s a deep sea merfolk, he finds it hard to be outside during the day from his light sensitivity.
