Tyler Thatcher

In his mid-twenties, Tyler moved to America from Britain (because he wanted to, there's no story.) After traveling the west coast, he moved east, hoping to escape the scary imagery his camera's kept capturing. He landed in Brooklyn, a place full of ugly people, but as far as he's aware, no "real" monsters.
He scrapes by ghost writing for columns and as a photographer for hire. All he really wants to do is photograph birds. Unfortunately for Tyler, he's been blessed with a very unusual gift.
If there is a cryptid or some kind of supernatural being in the photo, it will be the primary focus of the image. Even if he focused his lens properly to capture your beautiful smiling face for your wedding day, if Big Foot happened to walk by, Big Foot is the photo you're getting. Congratulations! Maybe you can sell it?
Tyler doesn't believe in the paranormal, and worse than that, he can't make any money off it. He tried once, to pawn off a photo of Nessie the Loch Ness Monster, but no one believed them. Why would they? And he wasn't giving his hard work away to the internet for free. Into the trash it goes!
Now he does his best to try to avoid the supernatural all together. Halloween is the worst.
