    What makes him special?
    Rat takes the statement 'nothing like the luck o' the Irish' to the next level.

    From a very young age it was observed that Rat experienced the extremes of the spectrum - He was extremely lucky in some endeavors and had more than his fair share of successes, while in other instances he seemed to be the butt of all jokes - this included severe injuries and failures.

    however Rat grew aware of this gift, and began carrying superstitious items. A pair of lucky socks, a rabbits foot, horseshoes, 4-leaf clovers. He favored the number 7 and never passed up an opportunity to pick up a penny off the sidewalk.

    For the sake of simplicity, Rat's luck was on a 50/50 scale. 50% of the time he would be lucky, the other 50%, not so much. However with the boost of lucky items the ratio has shifted to more of a 80/20 scale. 80% of the time things would go right for him, and the other 20% of the time would turn against his favor.

    He uses this 'power of luck' to his advantage as he often lurks at night sneaking into homes and looting stores, dedicating most of his time to a variety of illegal activities...
    usually he doesn't get caught.

    In short, Rat is one lucky bastard
