Jour'Mokke

Jour'mokke is used to getting odd looks no matter where he goes. Some curious people even take to asking him about his appearance. At first, he'd tried to be as honest as he could, but in recent years it seems the answer is never the same. He's made-up tales of being cursed, of being a demon, of being an adventure from strange lands, and even sometimes when he is feeling particularly mean acting insulted that they don't know and huff of leaving the questioner confused. Actually this can be said for people who try to pry into his personal history as well as looks. Lying has become almost second nature to him, often creating completely fictitious details to satisfy curious people. He never intends harm with this, just find it a fun thing to do, especially since the truth is even sometimes hard for him to comprehend. Though he hardly bothers to be constant with his stories, leading to no one really knowing much of anything about him.
Jour'mokke has a lot of trust issues, both towards himself and other people. As such he is never been completely honest with anyone about anything. Even his emotions remain largely hidden. No matter how he truly feels he always tries to keep a cheerful optimist demeanor. The only real indication of his feelings is how his magic behaves, and the fact he'll often hide or drink himself into oblivion when things get rough.
Because of his life of crime, and always having his walls up he's never found a place to truly settle down. It has been a very long time since he felt at home somewhere. He never sticks to one place for long, and only sticks with people for as long as he finds the need to. While he finds it easier to be alone, he does crave friendship and community. As such he has made a few allies, but they are still outnumbered by his enemies. Though despite the fact he has a talent for pissing people off he doesn't like fighting. He much prefers running or talking his way out of a situation. This can't always be achieved though, so when it comes down to it he prefers using daggers to fight, as they are easily hidden and he only resorts to such violence when cornered. He isn't a very strong or confident fighter, and fully knows his limits in this area. His talents can be found elsewhere for sure.
Despite his negative traits he actually has some good qualities too. He is very entertaining and creative. He makes an excellent storyteller able to put his all into acting out a tale. He is also incredibly observant, almost to a paranoid level. This can be useful for a plethora of things. He also does have a deep desire to be a good person, even if he hasn't managed it on his own. Finally, he is resourceful, if there is a way he'll find it, and he knows how to use what little he does have. This allows him to travel light, with only a few coins, and the clothes on his back. Often times the clothes he wears are things he found for cheap or repaired. As such most things he owns don't entirely fit him and are worn until the fabric is too thin to hold itself together. When he can he opts for getting clothes that are too large so he can use the excess fabric for patches that are a little less obvious. While it may not look like it he does care about how he comes off to others. That's why he keeps his hair neatly tied back and tries to hide the repairs to his clothes. He'd rather been seen as eccentric and strange than have any obvious signs of struggle. Good luck ever getting him to admit this though.
