Garrik Caina

Garrick was born a while before Amarantha's reign. While he was spared from being trapped Under the Mountain, guilt weighed heavily on his shoulders. As a resident of Velaris, he was left mostly untouched by the horrors Amarantha had inflicted on Prythian. As much as he wished there was something he could do, he never did. That only made him feel more like a coward.

To try and distract himself from what was going on outside the borders of his home, he would read. He spent many days sprawled lazily on the roof of his house, his eyes shaded by the book's shadow. When he wasn't reading, he would take walks along the Sidra and admire the beauty of the 'City of Starlight.' Though he avoided the musicians playing in the streets. It felt too wrong to enjoy such beautiful music.
