When people first notice Jack, they think he comes across as a laid back and relaxed person with a comforting smile. He radiates good intentions, even if he's less sociable than his sister. He won't easily take the first step towards getting to know someone new and can come across as a little closed off, but if someone decides to approach him then he'll certainly give that person a chance and try to keep a conversation going with them. He's quite literally a Jack-of-all-trades and knows a lot about various different subjects. Therefor, when people see him talking about something he likes he might be perceived as very smart. Most of the time he keeps his knowledge hidden though, and he's not the kind of person to show off when it comes to his intelligence.

He would easily be described as a creative and artsy type, both in mannerisms and in clothing style. Often times, he carries a pencil behind his ear and a small sketchbook in his pocket. He carries these because design ideas might come to him during the day and he wants to be able to sketch them out before he forgets about them.

Jack is generally relaxed but might be seen as a tad reserved. He's hot tempered too and can lash out over things that others might find stupid. It's best to not get on his bad sight and he's no stranger to picking fights even though his fights are usually verbal rather than physical. He's passionate and artistic and it shows in everything he does and everything he is. He can be rather cynical, perhaps more so than most people and he often doubts people's intentions and whether or not they actually mean well.

He's a good listener when it comes to people's problems and supporting his friends, however he won't easily take advice unless it comes from someone he's close to. Often times, he's stubborn and it sometimes even gets to the point where it can be described as anarchistic too. He doesn't make friends easily as he usually doesn't really try to make friends, but when he does it is likely to be a lifelong friendship. There's a need for deep connection within him, and he won't settle for the type of friend that is just good for partying or hanging out with. Usually, people either love him or hate him and there doesn't seem to be much of an in between.

Jack is a realist and tends to be very practical, sometimes too much. It may bother people but it means he'll do what needs to be done and that he has a great focus in stressful and chaotic situations.

Jack was the son of a loving couple that wished to have a big family. After him, the couple had 3 more children which caused for him to grow up in a family of 6. He lost his younger sister and his younger brother in a car accident together with his mother. When he lost them, he was only 14 years old and left with his father and his younger sister Grace.

While his father reached for alcohol, he helped raise Grace to the best of his abilities. Most of the time it was him who took over his father's job as their father was too drunk to do it. The family fell apart quickly and once he turned 18, he decided to move out and away to a nearby city called Astrum. Even though he lived there, for the first two years after moving out he did return home to check on his sister every few days. Once she turned 16, she visited him instead and started to stay with him in the weekends and sometimes sleep over during the week. Eventually, when she too came of age she decided to move in with him. Ever since, she's the only one in his family that he still talks to and often speaks about.

His father became a good-for-nothing alcoholic that wasted all of his money on fast food and beer. While he never treated him badly, he did gain an addiction to online gambling and used a big part of Jack's and Grace's college funds to support that addiction.

Jack refused to let Grace give up on college and did whatever was in his power to save money so she could get to college even though he never got to go. Thanks to his hard work and a scholarship as well as some support from financial aid, she eventually got to enroll in Clarey college after all.

Nowadays, Jack still lives in Astrum but the house he lives in is mainly his given that his sister is only home during holidays, summer break or spring break. He has a dog named Bueno, who he claims is named after "No Bueno" while she's actually named after the cookie.

Even though he planned to study to become a cop, he never got into college and instead became a tattoo artist. He opened up his own tattoo parlor in Astrum City. In his free time and the weekends, he plays airsoft with a few friends or spends his days at the shooting range. Aside from his friends, he doesn't have any relationships with people and isn't romantically involved with anyone. He does get plenty of attention and girls seem to be interested in him but he hasn't dated anyone since Cherise, his teenage crush. The reason behind this is that he often feels that he too was to blame for his mother's dead, and that he might've died instead of her if he'd chosen to be in her car that day instead of letting Cherise's father pick him up.

Overall, Jack doesn't like violence and he doesn't believe that violence should be used as a problem solver. However, due to his temper he's no stranger to starting fights and he will often finish them on the winning end. He does like weapons, both those he uses during airsoft and the actual guns he uses at the shooting range. Both activities are hobbies to him that he enjoys in the weekend.

Due to playing airsoft, he's good at finding places to hide and at camouflage techniques. Having good concentration and focus due to being a hardcore gamer and a good aim due to shooting at the range at least once a week, he rarely misses is target. He is however not trained when it comes to moving targets and will struggle more with them. Chances are that he'll miss the target if it moves too fast.

Jack is a good runner and runs really fast. In high school, he used to be part of the track team. Aside from that, he's rather good at hand to hand combat and used to kickbox as a teenager.

Jack currently owns two guns:

He also owns about 2 boxes of 100 bullets for each gun, which means he has about 400 bullets in total.

Aside from his guns, he also owns a lot of camouflage, protective and other gear that he mainly uses during airsoft such as a tactical protective vest, a camo ghillie suit, camouflage cream and an airsoft helmet.
