Iris Alexandria

As delicate as an iris petal, and as sharp as a rose thorn, Ms. Alexandria lives up to her name. Personality wise, Iris is a truly unpredictable wild card; her mood shifts day by day, or even hour by hour depending on the context of the situation and who she's interacting with. She's sarcastic, witty, genuine, depressive, manic, prone to madness, insecure, joyful, positive, fierce, and more all wrapped inside a unique and fiesty fire. All in all, she's one you don't trifle with but she's also the one you know you can call no matter what when you need her.

Born into a life of isolation curtailed by her overbearing mother, Iris did not begin to know life outside her home until the age of eighteen. Being homeschooled, she is intelligent in the subjects she taught herself, excelling in English and creative writing especially.

At the age of eighteen, Iris finally saved herself enough money from working dead end minimum wage jobs and worked up enough courage to buy herself a one way ticket to the Golden State of California, slipping off into the night and leaving her mother and her older sister, Ileana, far behind in the rural Midwest. Upon arriving in California, Iris settled in a modest apartment in the Bay Area, the city of Oakland specifically. Finally starting to experience her first intoxicating tastes of freedom, Iris ran wildly and breathlessly through the euphoric "California" party lifestyle she had rushed headfirst into. But, before she could realize the dangers concealed amongst the fun, she unconsciously slipped headfirst into those veiled, mostly unspoken dangers. Along the jagged path, she collected many nights she fails to recall, and met many strangers along the way; with one man in particular proving himself to be what she was led to believe to be a saving blessing, but in reality was a wicked curse.

Yet amongst the nameless and named strangers who would come to provide nothing but harm to her, there was a few individuals she met by pure chance who would prove to be her unknowing saviors; specifically her best friend, a man who goes by the name of James Harlow. A meeting of chance instigated by the temptress known as Fate brought the two troubled souls together, and from that day forward the two came to develop an unshakeable bond. The two supported and encouraged each other through arguably the roughest points in each of their lives; each seeing each other through the depths of their own personal Hell, and both of them emerging on the other side stronger than ever.

At the age of twenty, Iris relocated further south from the Bay Coast to the glitzy city of Los Angeles, pursuing a degree in Graphic Design from the LA Film School. Four years later, Iris proudly graduated with a bachelor's degree in her chosen field, and currently spends her days in LA pursuing and building her career in that field.

If you choose to pursue a friendship or something more with Iris, you would be gaining both a powerful partner and ally, yet also a tangled and confusing flame of a woman. Most days, she is the unwavering stone capable of holding your world steady and aloft; yet on others, she is nothing more than the crumbling foundation disintegrating beneath it, threatening to upheave it all and watch it burn in the ashes of her blinding burnout. She is a woman not suited for the faint of heart; but for the strongest of minds.
