Violet Emonds

Violet grew up an only child to two very loving parents. Her mother is an illustrator for children's books and her father a librarian in the town library of the small town she grew up in. Her childhood was a happy one with two such tender-hearted, creative parents, but it was admittedly quite lonely. There was not much to do in her small town that based it's economy largely on farming. And so Volet spent most of her time alone, sketching the horses that lived on the farm next to her house from the comfort of her back yard. In contrast, her best friend Clover was a lively child with a handful of siblings. The girls have been best friends since the first day of kindergarten and it was through her that Violet was able to make a small group of friends she could fully open up to. To them, violet proved to be a compassionate, loyal, and funny friend. Clover and Violet, not wanting to be separated, eventually went to college together, where Clover devoted her time to getting her best friend out of her dorm and into a social life rather than studying like Violet would prefer. Violet plans to become an illustrator like her mother.
