The bottom of that rank pit was overgrown with damp moss and the rotten skeletons of unfortunate rats. He stares down into it, hand holding open his visor, face tight and grim. Light streams down between the grates, but his body shadows their faces. Two sets of dark eyes glisten up at him. Little bodies huddled against the wall.

He looks over to his supervisor, a helmless man with long, golden hair. “They’re rather small,” He murmurs, wondering if this was all that a templier was.

His supervisor smiles and nods. “Half-Demons. Black-blooded, Templier. They start off young.” He laughs. The templier frowned and looked back down into the grated hole. “They get bigger, do not worry.” His supervisor coos as he steps out to join the templier on the grate. Twenty yards down, those little bodies recoil and hiss.
