Katherine Blackwood

Katherine is practically the spitting image of her late mother, so much so that those who knew Lady Lyanna Blackwood, née Belmore have been known to comment that gazing upon Kate is like seeing a ghost of her mother, forever frozen in her prime. From her pretty, youthful features to thick, black-brown, long locks of hair, the young lady has completely taken after her mother - with the exception of dark eyes inherited from her father, instead of striking blue-grey.

Katherine has quite the feminine figure, blessed with the sought-after hourglass shape. She's slim and slender but possesses shapely hips and thighs, accentuating her small waist. Head held high, she moves with all the grace and elegance you would expect from a lady of her noble-standing. All thanks to years of deportment lessons. When Katherine is comfortable around someone, and out of sight of her family, her perfectly poised posture will begin to relax as she loosens up.

Katherine's personality is hard to discern - Her true personality, that is. At first meeting, it would seem that the young lady was simply a politely charming yet quiet, rigid and uptight, miserably boring thing of no real substance, perfectly fitting the ideals of the weak and modest woman who knew her place in society and sat idly and obediently by until she is needed. This outwardly showcased personality is nothing more than a flawlessly scripted act, a form of armor that Katherine wears out of necessity. Playful, witty, and proudly intelligent, Katherine is an ambitious woman who speaks her mind, with boundless curiosity and an adventurous streak left over from childhood that has never quite faded which along with her stubborn and headstrong nature can get the young woman into trouble. Among her friends, she is known to be sociable and jovial, undeniably passionate about her interests and those she cares for. Someone who laughs freely and loves deeply to a fault. Compassionate, empathetic, kind and reliable with an elegant eloquence that sees her easily charming those she meets. Yet, for all her good-naturedness, Katherine is still victim to less desirable traits, mostly caused by the on-going predicament of playing the dutiful daughter to a less than deserving father. Circumstance has made her anxious, taciturn, and a tad timid especially towards men. A swirling sea of emotions lays below the surface of the young woman, fueled by unresolved grief that has her feeling melancholic and a forever simmering rage that sees her lashing out when her grip slips after being pushed too far.
