Penelope had a problem while she was serving Lady Pryce, and that problem was that she had become pregnant. No where to turn to, the servant asked Lady Pryce to please continue serving her even as she raised her daughter on her own. Lady Pryce consented to this and Cassandra grew up in the shadow of her mother within the manor. It was impressed upon her to be quiet as a mouse, and the girl soon blossomed into a timid young woman. A young woman who was accidentally bitten by a werewolf while she was at the market one evening. Rather than dismissing her, Lady Pryce continued to employ Cassandra who was sometimes picked on by the other servants due to the way Lady Pryce would occasionally show her favor.
