  • Backstory

    Born into a family of Genasi merchants in the city of Umatesh, Ferron had a rather sheltered childhood. Being an only child, his parents doted on him and did everything they could to make sure he was safe. This often meant that he was kept inside the family home, where an eye could be kept on him. As Ferron grew, he began to display a keen intellect and a desire to learn more about the world around him. It soon became apparent that the young earth Genasi had the makings of a wizard - something his parents were both proud of and worried about. The only way for their son to truly learn to responsibly use his talents was to attend one of the prestigious universities of Umatesh. For Ferron's parents, this posed a host of issues for their darling child's safety and well-being, not to mention the cost. For the socially inept young wizard himself, it meant entering into a realm of social niceties that he'd never before dealt with.
