Judgement, a chance for rebirth, a life changing decision. Both entering that... monolith, temple, or prison, and choosing to take that swing were that. I guess deciding to go in at all was the main one. Things sure changed alright.

Seven of Cups, the illusion, the presentation of what I... maybe should have wanted, I dunno. An offer of a chance to know I'd be able to keep him around... that I'd never lose him again. All I needed to do was accept, and we'd both be pulled into that world. I still think I was right to break free, like she suggested. I'm more able to protect him than ever before.

The Emperor, reversed, stripping away my autonomy in favor of the will of another as a response to me accomplishing my goals. It could have been a lot worse than it is, I guess. I might owe my soul to a dangerously cunning goddess now, buuuut she's made it pretty clear that I'm more useful to her alive and learning to use what I got from that adventure than I am dead, and on an indefinite basis, so it works out pretty well.
