    Martin is one of a handful of humans who survived The Wild Hunt—an annual event where werefolk and other creatures of the night hunt people for sport.

    Oddly enough, it was one of the best nights of Martin's life.

    Invigorated to have permission to be his fully unhinged self, Martin decided he wanted more where that came from. An influential werecat offered Martin safe passage to the Twilight, in exchange for owing him an ominous favor in the future.

    In the meantime, Martin stays with Dr. Davis Mann, another survivor of The Hunt. There, he helps with the doctor's medical practice... though not nearly as often as he gets himself into trouble.
