It was said that Joshu's great grandfather was a sylvan elf. However true this is, it is clear that there is something quite special about this man. While he is the silent, stoic type - he is also kind and gentle of heart. He is helpful to those that he feels deserves it, and wards off or leads astray those he does not think is worthy of his forest home.
The world is not black and white, though, and he knows this. So he will hear a person out before making his observations. Mostly, if one is to know the truth, Joshu will avoid most folks he would encounter in the woods. Only if they seem like they need help or are causing harm will he interject.
COMBAT
Weapons & Armor:
Weapons - A long bow, short sword, two daggers and a sling.
Armor - Padded leather, with a few pieces of barbed leather.
Magic:
Summon animal – Calls one animal of medium size.
Plant growth – Causes the vegetation within a 10 foot radius
to grow at a high velocity.
Create water – Creates up to five gallons of water once a day.
Entangle – Makes plants entangle victims in a 40 foot circle.
Obscuring Mist - Causes a thick cloud to form in a 30 foot
radius. Makes tracking another nearly impossible.
Wall of Thorns – Creates a 30 foot blocking wall that can be
cut down, though it is 10 feet thick. It slows and traps followers.
Faerie fire – Dazzling lights appear causing the follower to
become dazed. Can be cast up to eighty yards away.
Bless – A holy aura is cast around a 30 foot radius. Any undead
will experience severe pain.
Cure wounds – light to moderate – Cures flesh wounds.
Detect evil – Allows the caster to see those of an evil intent
in a soft glowing aura for up to 120 yards.
Detect magic – Allows the caster to see magic as a vivid red
glow for up to thirty yards.
Detect poison – Allows the caster to see poison in drinks and
or food.
Endure Elements – Allows the caster to comfortably withstand
severe temperatures.
Invisibility to undead – The undead cannot detect or see the
person this is cast upon.
Locate Animal – Allows the caster to locate an animal of a
certain species within a mile.
Pass without Trace – Allows the one this is cast upon to pass
through an area without being detected.
Silence - Causes an absolute silence to be cast in an area of
30 feet.
Cure Disease - Self explanatory.
Dispel magic - Dispels any magical effects up to 50 yards.
