Teen Gabriel VaRossa

Pre World-Travel:
Gabriel is a kind natured boy with no real goals or aspirations in life. He is very social when he is out with his friends although does get nervous in situations that get tense. He is intimidated by those who are outwardly stronger than him and seemingly tends to back down if faced with aggression or hostility. He loves talking about the recent media, video games, and what shows he would happen to be watching that week. Despite being social with friends he doesn’t seem to go out of his way to expand his said circle as he tends to have a bit of anxiety when surrounded with people he doesn’t know.

He is very skeptical when it comes to things that he cannot understand and more often than not is stubborn when coming to terms with anything new. Gabriel is specifically fascinated with the world of fighting, often watching a lot of action movies where he will try to replicate moves he has seen in the movie. Despite having seemingly no real goals or aspirations, Gabriel does have a dormant desire to grow and become stronger. He subconsciously has a fear of being useless.

Post/During First World Travel:

Gabriel, taken under the wing of 4 Mysterious Warriors, had undergone grueling and harsh training. In turn his personality had begun to shift. Becoming more carefree, eccentric and confident; Gabriel was often the first to jump head first into a situation. Becoming obsessed with the concept of fighting, it wasn’t long before Gabriel had become battle greedy. Challenging veteran warrior’s left and right; he often bit off a lot more than he could chew. In his heart, he was still the kind-hearted boy he had always been; he just had a different way of showing it now. Due to the influence of his Masters, Gabriel began to develop a lack of interest in heroics. Often getting mad when he was compared to them; Gabriel was one to always explain that he could care less what happened to the world as long as he was able to have fun.

Cognitive Awakening - An ability that will only awaken if Gabriel were to walk the path of a warrior. He will not be able to activate it unless he has undergone training to control his mind as well as strengthen his physical physique. Cognitive awakening is a unique ability that allows the user’s mind to lift it’s restrictions and limitations it naturally has, giving the user a boost in both mobility and strength. However, even if awakened, as the ancestors had to develop it, Gabriel will have to learn how to control it. If used without the proper training or control it has the risk of causing a range of side effects such as memory loss, physical damage from pushing his body, to even becoming immobile temporarily or death.

Throughout his training; Gabriel has tapped into the specifics of the ability. Unable to control it all at once, he has different "levels," as he calls it. There are 3 levels to Cognitive Awakening.

Level 1: Cognitive Awakening Calming
The first awakened state. Gabriel's strength isn't reliably boosted while in calming. His speed and mobility however are greatly increased. Overtime, Gabriel has learned to maintain this level up consistently as to not wear down his body as much. While in this mode, Gabriel's personality tends to take a neutral front. As the name suggests; he is calm and very analytical.

Level 2: Cognitive Awakening Power!!
The second awakened state. Gabriel's speed is mildly increased but not as potent as Calming. His strength however is greatly increased. Overtime, Gabriel has learned to maintain this level up consistently as to not wear down his body as much. It was a far more difficult task to achieve this than calming as Power was a far greater strain on the body itself vs the brain. In this mode, Gabe tends to be overconfident, a tad cocky as he'll try to lure and taunt his opponents.

Level 3: True Cognitive Awakening.
The third and final awakened state. In this mode, attributes from both previous levels are obtained and greatly increased even further. That includes strength, speed and mobility. This is his most potent and reliable form; one that had taken all that he had learned and pushed him to the level of Warrior itself. Overtime, Gabriel has learned to maintain this level up consistently as to not wear down his body as much. However, this mode drains quite a bit of stamina and has the risk of going overboard depending on his emotions.

(Author’s Note: Hiya, it’s Hikari/Kuro! I’d like to start off with thanking anyone who has taken the time to read this! It means a lot to me. Gabriel VaRossa is a unique kind of Original Character; an experiment, really! His early background is rather dull and uneventful for a good reason as he was designed for the sake of MFRP (Multi-Fandom Roleplay). The whole idea is that his story would be written through his interactions and experiences in the MFRP, so even as I type this now; his story is still being written. It has been an exciting experience trying to do this! I would like to thank everyone who has helped contribute to this child and his character arc. )

Pre-World Travel:
Some people are born for greatness. Some are born into despair. Some people are born with a purpose for life already decided. Then there’s Gabriel. Gabriel is your average teenager. Gabe grew up as an only child to two loving parents. He went to school, made friends, played sports, hell he even took Karate at the local Community center. As he grew he came to develop a love for his hobbies such as playing video games and watching anime. He would often find happiness in discussing the recent events he would read about on Tweeter with his friends at school. However there was always something that seemed to follow Gabriel. He could never seemingly find something he excelled in. He was always talentless. Just a regular joe.

Hidden behind this seemingly normal life laid a secret that had been buried under the ever developing society. Cruising back hundreds of years, his mother’s ancestors were of a warrior family who had practiced and developed their cognitive prowess to be able to surpass human limitations for the sole sake of being able to overcome any attempts of conquest of their land. In a modern society where war and conquest wasn’t something to be factored into everyone’s daily life, the secrets of the family were lost to time and their innate ability of the Cognitive Awakening developed all those centuries ago were seemingly lost to time.

Gabriel’s ordinary life was now about to become like one of the video games he adored so much. Brought to another world, stripped away from his family and friends. The story of Gabriel was just about to begin..

World Travel Arc -

How strange life can be at times. Chosen in resonance, YOU, Gabriel VaRossa. It can only take but a few seconds for a life to be changed forever. Being abruptly brought to an entirely new world with next to no knowledge can be a terrifying experience. As was the case for the 16 year old child. Scared, lost, all hope seemingly abandoned; all seemed lost. Until an otherworlder sporting pink hair, goggles and white coat came to the rescue. The two forged an unbreakable bond; one that left quite an impression on the young man. Gabriel vowed to become stronger, no.. confident! He was going to look at that man with the same confidence. No matter what. Even when the otherworlder seemingly vanished from the face of the planet; Gabriel remained motivated.

In time, Gabriel had been taken under the wing of 4 mysterious warriors. An Assassin, A Queen, A Sorcerer and a Pirate. Each specialized in their own way; Gabriel was determined more than ever to become stronger. Forging a bond with each of the warriors, there was one in particular who he had become attached to above all else -- The Queen. The two had become practically inseparable, spending all of their time together; forging a parent-child bond. The Queen began looking over the young Gabriel as he pushed onwards towards his dream. In time, Gabriel had somehow been given the title, “Prince Starlord,” as he was seen as the Child of the Queen of Stars.

Throughout his time in this small little world, Gabriel had attained irreplaceable bonds and connections that would remain in his heart. Though his story is not fully revealed, in time the child will endure even more.. Become even stronger!
